The chansey that won't evolve......

I have a chanesy and it is about to evolve but in the middle of evolving it stops and says "...?" Well, I mean like why? If it has the evolving screen why would it stop in the middle of evolving?@?@ I DID NOT press any button

do you have the national dex? because blissey is a second generation pokemon and you dont know they exist yet

you have to get the national dex first. Then itll evolve

Lol, that happened to me too, but yeah, you need to have the national dex, this usually can take you by surprise if you didn't know it

it will only evolve if you have the national pokedex as blissey is a second generation pokemon since it won't exist to the normal pokedex

That's because you don't have the national dex, yet. Blissey is a johto pokemon and doesn't appear in the Kanto dex.

since everybody say you have to get the national dex, but not HOW to get the national dex, I'll tell you. Catch 60 pok'emon and talk to prof. Oak. He'll give you the National Dex.

It's because Blissey is a Johto PoREPEATING REPEATING REPEATING!

IT ONLY NEEDS TO BE SAID ONCE!

Self-explanetory, this method also applies to Golbat seeing as Crobat is a Johto Pokemon. I don't know what occurs if you receive a Pokemon in a trade holding an item that would thereafter cause it to evolve (like Onix), but whether attempted evolution happens or not obviously the same thing occurs.

you need to beat the Elite Four, have 60 different Pokemon, and then talk to Prof. Oak…
