Hi! This is, of course, a sprite edit contest.


Categories:


Overworlds:
(this would be as if it were a game- see mau's examples. actual characters may be is multiple poses (walking, etc.))
-Human Characters
-Mythical Creatures
-Talking Animals
-Scenes (places- may include characters in them)

Mixes:
(multiple Pokémon sprites were mixed together to create this- custom parts and colors allowed)
-Human Characters
-Mythical Creatures
-Talking Animals

Scratch:
(basically pixel-art, you may use a reference and create a picture in whatever size you want. does not include pixel-overs)
-Human Characters
-Weapons and other items/objects
-Mythical Creatures
-Talking Animals

Edits:
(a single Pokémon sprite is taken and edited however the spriter wants, but the base must be recogniseable. only ONE Pokémon sprite to be used, the rest must be custom)
-Human Characters
-Mythical Creatures
-Talking Animals

This is a contest. Do not begin a off-topic conversation.
You enter only, unless you point out a theif.
No arguing.
The judges and I say if your entry is accepted. If it's not, do not whine.
Only .PNG formats. .GIF is allowed if the entry is White-Be-Goned
No entry later than May 30
You edit Pokémon into The Choronicles of Narnia Mythical Creatures. The human characters can be made from trainer sprites.
If the judges are offline, please wait patiently to see if your sprite was accepted

Hmm, well, so far one person's entry/ies havn't blown me away, but anyway:

Starter530: accepted.


Though Pokefan26, maybe you should list the kinds of spirtes that are accepted as well as the different categories. I think it would be a bit unfair to just have one winner of everything, so maybe there should be categories such as:
Overworlds of: scenes, human characters, mythical creatures, talking animals (each a being different category)
Mixes to create: humans, muthical creatures, talking animals (again each a different category)
Scratch: humans, weapons and other objects, mythical creatures, talking animals (once again, each a different category)


Of course, everyone who submits must clearly state what they're entering their sprite under (and maybe what sprites they used to make it) or else they won't get accepted.


Just an idea, though, but I think it would make the Contest a bit more organized and all.

I thought the faun (sp? or Fawn), Mr. Tumnus, would be popular, but the Centaur is.

It's a mix of Mightyena(body and ears), Pidgeotto(head), Swellow(talons), Articuno(wings), Pidgeot(tail) and Mew(tail) as a gryphon.
