I stayed up until twelve, but forgot to witness the exact start of 2012. And it doesn't even feel like the start of a new year that also brings the end of the world. OH GAWD, THIS IS JUST...OH GAWD.

Did nothing for New Year's as usual. Spent the time beforehand watching college football bowl games with my dad. I went home after that.

Around midnight I was sitting in the front room watching the little ball drop thing, and they said something like 'look around for your person to kiss'. There was only me, my parents and my cat sitting on my lap. I told the cat I wasn't going to kiss it, but I gave it a hug. Whatever.

After that I played Arkham City for a while, and that was fun, so it wasn't all bad.

Ok, I gotta know what that means. I'd have guessed something divisible by 6, but that's clearly wrong... bah, it just means leap year. Whoever named that doesn't know math terms.
