Oh wow, happy early birthday And that is indeed a good one. That being said, I waited a few months after my 16th to start driver's ed and get my license and such (I have a may b-day, so I waited it out till summer) but... that was a while ago. 18 now and a few years of experience under my belt xD
On a more pokemon related notice, I've started work back up on an offense team, and it's pretty fun, but I'm still kinda bad at it. Are there any Offense experts here who could help me out some? :3
Lol, I've been 16 for 6 months and I got my permit 3 months ago (helicopter parents).
Personally, I think the easiest offense team to get the hang of is a bulky offense team. It plays a little like stall, with a lot of swapping out, but it's focused more on attacking then wearing the enemy down slowly. The usual strategy is to whipe out the pokemon who check or counter your primary set up sweeper, then finish off your enemy's team with it.On a more pokemon related notice, I've started work back up on an offense team, and it's pretty fun, but I'm still kinda bad at it. I personally use guts Conkelderp in my bulky offense team, and I agree that it's very powerful.Guts Conkeldurr...I guess it's not frail like Mienshao or something. Drain Punch is oh so helpful. I guess I like it 'cause it can kill stuff but it won't go down easy if you aren't hitting it with special moves...or maybe I'm being a noob and don't know what I'm talking about haha.

But whatever whenever I use conk I be bodybaggin'
This one friend of mine has it worse haha...his parents won't even let him do drivers ed until he has a 3.0 GPA xp
USAtoday is turning 16, huh? Well then, happy early birthday.
...Man, I wish I was 16. Then I could get a job...Personally, I think the easiest offense team to get the hang of is a bulky offense team. After that, I think a Magnedrag is a pretty good one. Remove any enemy steel types, then your pretty much spam Outrage and Draco Meteor.
But really, the most basic trick to offense is to get a sweeper with only a few checks or counters, and prepare a bunch of other pokemon to remove those checks and counters. This is just easiest to do in Bulky Offense, since that allows more swapping out, or Magnedrag thanks to the few pokemon who can stop a +2 dragon or choice specs Latios.
And remember, the trick to making a good team is simply to test it a lot. Know what pokemon your team struggles with, and what pokemon you could replace without hurting your team too much.I personally use guts Conkelderp in my bulky offense team, and I agree that it's very powerful.
However, it won't be a good fit for a lot of teams, so I only suggest listing off pokemon to help when whoever is asking for advice list off certain pokemon they're struggling with that such pokemon can beat. I mean, if my bulky offense team wasn't weak to T-tar and Blissy, but struggled with Tornadus and Sub/Protect Gliscor, Conky would just be a waste.
Okay, so I just completely caught up with the One Piece manga, which means... I'll start battling again! And start watching SAO, but I'll need to find a place to watch that first.

A brief description of yourself, along with anything else you'd like to mention: I grew up playing Pokemon and have recently decided to start playing Competitive about a couple of months ago. Someone told me that Serebii Forums Clans would good way to get better at Competitive playing. So I looked at the list of Clans and this one happened to catch my eye better than and of the other Clans.
Yeah, I've been using Guts Conkeldurr with Leftovers to really good effect on my HO team :3
not until he got a 3.0? that's barely a restriction (imo). Isn't that like... a C or B average?
Thanks for the pointers. I'll copy down this info into a notepad and look over/try some of these :3 Lately I've been trying out HO, but other types I'm sure are just as fun as well.
Hey Magicmonkey, In your signature, amethyst is Kanto, right? I don't think Scizor is a kanto pokemon. Unless I'm very confused.

Dragon Spirit said:Going on a very long trip for a couple of month so I won't be playing Pokemon for a while so Ill be inactive for a long time. If you have to remove me from the clan I understand Ill be fine. I'd rather have it be that way so the clan doesn't look all weird with a non-existent member. Anyways, Hopefully talk to you guys in the future if not then sorry for saying I would. I will miss you all when I am gone and please wish me luck.
When the original 5 leader user bars were made, I ordered them to have pokemon I figured the leaders would like. As Avicii says, I like scizor.Hey Magicmonkey, In your signature, amethyst is Kanto, right? I don't think Scizor is a kanto pokemon. Unless I'm very confused.
