That's where the backpack strap was. I tried my best to fix it, but it just looked worse that way.

Meh...they're alright.

For the Hiro/Brendan mix, you must realize that the outline of his legs are supposed to be baggy due to his baggy pants, but look just plain wrong when changed into skin color. Slim them down, plz.
The shading on the Hiro Sprite needs improvement, though it is quite nicely done. And I don't know how to comment on "Charcolt". What exactly is it? 0_0

Nice, but what's with the blue thing on charizrd's claw.

Charcolt is the nonexistent "Pokegod*" evolution of Charizard. The blue stuff is Psychic energy. I noticed that the "Char" family's major weakness in the anime was the flame on the tail, so I completely erased it, thus rendering the Charcolt all-powerful. As for the steel, I just thought it would look cool.

*Pokegod - Nonexistent Pokemon that morons thought were Pokemon stronger than Mewtwo and Mew combined. Charcolt's Pokedex number, in theory, is 000, similar to Missingno..

The official sprites typically have bad outlining, so you'll want to fix them up. Also, you'll want to add some more shading to it. The Wannabee Brendan is good, but the strap and the line on the shirt are far too straight. Make it so it's not a line single diagonal pixels and it will look better.
