Yes yes. *walks around hippie-style*
I'm not exactly sure if there's any thread about this, but I've searched in this particular forum, and couldn't find a single thread. So, why don't I get this party started with a club-hopping question that'll have everybody up on their feet, thinking about what dance move to perform to which lyrics. XDD
But yes, with Diamond and Pearl set for a 2007 release, what are your opinions about authors using them NOW in fanfictions? And since little is known about the new attacks thus far, what are your opinions about authors using their imagination to carve details and such of the new attacks? Would it be wrong or would it appropriate at this time?
The main reason I asked this is because in my chaptered fanfiction that's coming out sometime in Spring of next year, I have used new Pokemon and have used new attacks. For example, in the fourth chapter, the main character battles against a Gardevoir with his Elekible (though, now I can go back and edit as to how his Electabuzz evolved, being as it has been revealed). And in the sixth chapter (after examining what the old Pokemon can learn in Diamond/Pearl), in a huge battle, a character's Sceptile uses Energy Ball (but used in a particular way; for example, in order for Sceptile to use it, Solarbeam and Sunny Day must have been used at the start of the battle for a very particular reason that I dare not to reveal). And, I'm thinking about having a character have a Rentoraa.
But yes ; what are your feelings on this complex situation?
