The Definition of Pokemon

What would you think would be the best definition of Pokemon.

This is what I think...

Pokemon (noun): Any creature or species that shares a DNA sequence with Mew. (Since Mew shares the same DNA with itself, it is also a Pokemon.)

Although you could say:
Any of the 392 Pokemon created by Satoshi...

But I'm going for a more "scientific" term.
