Hey! I decided to write another fic while still writing my first one THE FINAL SHOWDOWN! I really hope you all like this one and Tell me what you think of my new story when you’re done reading! I want to hear what all of you have to say good or bad!
INTRODUCTION
Dear Diary,
I heard around town that my twin brother recently won the Whirl Cup. I know I should be happy for him but I can’t find the heart to do that. You see my brother and I have always loved pokemon so for our eighth birthday our parents got us both one. My brother got the boy nidoran since he’s a boy and I got the girl nidoran since I’m a girl. I got so close with my nidoran it instantly became my best friend. I named her Jadie after me. Jadie got me through my toughest times and was always there when I needed her most. I knew what a good team we made together and couldn’t wait to go out and try to win badges in my home region of Johto. Finally my brother and mines much anticipated tenth birthday came and our parents let us go to travel and master our skills. My brother won his gym battles left and right while I lost every single one. Finally after my brother had won his eighth badge he decided we should go home and tell our parents that he’d be competing in the Johto League. It broke my heart watching my brother show off his hard earned badges and listening to my parents say how proud they were that he was their son and how lucky they were. Then came the dreaded moment of when my parents turned their big I’m-ready-to-hear-your-big-accomplishments eyes on me. I told them I didn’t win any badges. Their soft eyes turned cold. My dad then swiftly picked my nidoran up and started to walk outside. Terrified I screamed and my mother took me to my room, sat me down on my bed and gave me the big family speech. She told me that for the past ten generations everyone in our family carried the title of Legendary Trainer. She also said since I didn’t work hard enough I didn’t deserve a pokemon and my dad was taking it to the wild to be free. I started screaming. I was so furious with my parents and how they took away my one and only best friend and my only joy in life away from me. My mom then told me to stop and act like a proper lady and I was bringing disgrace to our family. Also she said I had better start acting like my brother if I wanted any respect from them and like that they shut me out in the cold darkness. It’s like I wasn’t even part of their family it anymore. It was like I was invisible. So that night I ran away-far away not knowing where to go. I finally found a cave so I hid in there by myself for a few days. I soon realized I couldn’t stay there forever so I left and picked up on pokemon training again. The only time I trained and battled was at night. I got very good very fast. Even though I did battle again I still didn’t want to be seen so I’d hide behind a tree or emerge behind a dark shadow. One day however, I will show my face and the world how truly powerful I really am and get revenge on the family that shut me out in complete darkness.
Sincerely,
The Invisible Trainer
