The Dunsparce Deception!

Enroute to Olivine City, Ash & Co. meet up with a trainer who is trying to catch a Dunsparce. He was on holiday when everyone caught one but now he only has his Caterpie and he wants a Dunsparce. Can Ash & Co. help him find one?

So hot he's on fire.
Who's that cute little boy in shorts? Why it's BUCKY! :D *hypers all over the place*

But seriously, good things come to those who wait, and Bucky had to learn that the hard way. Poor thing. :3

Meowth!Dunsparce was weird. But Bucky made the ep worthwhile. >>

Gahr, eeh, yikes. I'm sorry, I really just don't like dunsparce very much, they're pretty useless and boring pokemon. At least with the dunsparce I have in LeafGreen I'll try breeding it and give it a decent move or two.

I did like a couple of things in this episode, though. Team Rocket's lame play was very funny. The part where the trio were chasing after the dunsparce, and the bugs and Wobbuffet kept popping up randomly, had me rolling in the aisles. :D It reminded me of that old Nintendo game "Duck Hunt" for some reason (by the way, has anyone besides me who ever played that game ever wanted to shoot the dog for laughing at you when you miss?).

I didn't see this episode, but it must have been good! ^^

not particulairly really... maybe the whole thing about kids talking about Dunsparce was amusing, and maybe that Dunsparce search, but it wasn't so amazing...

Would you trade a Dunsparce for a Moltres?

In a heartbeat, baby. I'm not the least bit fond of dunsparce. I don't use legendaries anyway, but dunsparce are useless.

This episode had a good plot. It shows that not all pokemon are weak and bad *cough*caterpie*cough* i liked how at the end he didnt care what the other kids say . He stuck with his caterpie 7.0/10

Damn, I thought this said The Dunsparce Decepticon. That would've made this the best episode ever. Anyways, I remember this episode. I liked this one. If I were the kid, I would've punched the dumb kids in the head, and got an even better pokemon than Dumbsparce. That would even things up.

I wanted Shaymin! :(
Dunsparce is laughable. Noland's Dunsparce had Ice Beam, which none of my rentals were weak against, it did half damage to Zangoose before dying to a Crush Claw...

Oh sorry, this is about the episode.

I think the episode had some funny moments. Seeing all those kids get suckered into trading away their Dunsparce for Moltres(which are rare) was so funny. I remembered James' Moltres costume from "Fortune Hunters" and I grinned. I would trade a Dunsparce, but for an Articuno instead. (Of course, I'd be sure that the guy I traded it to kept his word.)

EDIT: Wow, I'm a Cascade poster now! Yay for me!

I watched the Japanese version recently, and I thought I'd mention that the scene originally involved word-play. The Nokocchi kept saying "Kocchi, kocchi!" (as Pokemon, they're saying their name, but "kocchi!" can mean "over here!"). Rocket Dan kept saying "Socchi!" (there!), "Acchi!" (over there!), and "Docchi?" (where?). And of course, Sounansu was thrown in there for good measure (hopefully, some of you are familiar with the Sounansu puns). All in all, I was left laughing my ass off throughout the whole scene. XD

A pretty boring episode except for the TR parts which were good for a laugh. I guess the only really good thing you can do with a Dunsprace in an episode is have as a cute Pokemon that every kid wants, since they don't really show up again except for cameos in the series.

Ooh, the Dunsparce was excellent 8D, I loved their little noises. But even better than them was Meowth in his costume! If only James' real Moltres costume had come back. But yeah, I thought this was pretty good for a filler about such a useless pokemon.
