the effect of the new sprites on spriting.

Taking a look at munchlax, lucario, weavile, perappu, buizeru, tamanta, dorapian, and cherimu tells me that the next generation of sprites will be 3d and that spriting to make changes to pokemon or come up with new pokemon will be really hard. Did anyone else look at the new sprites closely and wonder something similar?

Yeah, pretty much, but I wouldn't call that 3D, just more detailed like colors, and such, they use more colors then past generations.
