Plot
It was said that the Elementalists lived in the hidden places, that only those of power could find them. Most of the time, the Elementalists found them. They had powers, of the sort that should not be revealed to humans. Each Elementalist focused upon a special set of skills. These skills, called Elements, were based on worldly powers, and could change and evolve over time. For example, nowadays the Element of Military exists, taking control of guns and using them nearly unconsciously. At the dawn of the age of Elementalists, this Element did not exist.

In the early days of Ireland, the homeland of the Elementalists, they were banished from society for being different. When they tried to make a peaceful reunion with the Common Folk, they burned down their villages and homes, and chased them off the island. It was said that the elder of that time was a Water Elementalist, so he made them able to breathe underwater for as long as he could, and they fled across the ocean, to the Americas. The effort was so massive that the elder died. According to an old tale, there was another village of Elementalists that remained in Europe. All search attempts trying to find that group have failed.

In more recent times, the Elementalists have learned from their mistakes, and swiftly take those who have Elemental abilities to a camp. There are small outpost camps that stay on the lookout for new Elementalists. From there, they are taken to the main camp, location unknown, in order to learn and keep the race of Elementalists secret. If the Elementalists were revealed, it would most likely cause a new World War. But there are some whose goal is just that…

Items that are used in order to boost the power of an Elementalist are called Elemental Relics. Almost all of these Relics were created long before history. Some were created to help defeat the powers of evil. Some were not created by humans at all, and grow in ancient Elemental temples. Some are inhabited by rouge spirits, and these Relics cause all of the problems in the Elemental world, the world hidden from the Common Folk. Of each of these three categories, there is a Relic which provides substantially more power. There are the Four Spheres of Lux, the Bush of Potentia, and the Glove of Infernum.

Recently a person has risen to power in the Elemental world, and having obtained the Glove of Infernum now plans to start a world war and take over with their army. Their identity is unknown, and they are only called “The Hurricane” due to their immense Storm ability. They have built a hidden tower nearby to the secret base of the Elementalists, and their army is growing. The Hurricane is now searching for the Four Spheres of Lux and the Bush of Potentia in hopes of becoming the most powerful person in the world. His tower is constantly protected by a harsh hurricane, which expands as The Hurricane’s power grows.

Now, a prophecy has come forth from the Chief Elder. Several kids of thirteen years of age, or the chosen ones, are unable to be defeated in combat by the hand of another. The one exception is a young adult named Jackson, who is eighteen. He is also one of the chosen ones. The prophecy says that the chosen ones will bring peace and prosperity to the world, but not all of them will live to see it happen. The chosen ones are marked with a blue triangular bruise on their left heel. The searchers have already found two others besides Jackson, whose name is Nik. Jackson’s little brother Phil is also one of the chosen ones.

Technical Stuff
  • You will be playing as one of the chosen ones, starting from when you discovered your abilities as an Elementalist.
  • There are 13 elements: Storm, Force, Earth, Ice, Magic, Ninja, Military, Poison, Fire, Time, Water, Light, and Dark.
  • These elements will be explained to you in more detail once the adventure begins, but if you want more information, just ask.
  • You can have a total of five, but as a beginner you will only have two. Don’t fret over which ones you are going to choose, it won’t matter in the beginning. Just try not to use the same two elements as someone else.
  • You will also have a weapon of choice. This can be anything you can think of, but be aware that you won't get powerful weapons instantly. You will usually start with a sword, bow, ax, or spear. As you become a powerful fighter you will go on a mission to recover powerful weapons to use.
  • All characters are about 13 when they begin. In the next 10 years they will undergo elemental progression. This is where you age five years in a few months, then spend the rest of your life aging slowly. Therefore, the characters will be 18 for everything but the beginning.
  • I plan to write a book based on this idea, and because I have slight writer's block about what to do outside of the main storyline and of names, I plan to use most of what happens here in my book, but tweaked a bit. This is the disclaimer.
  • Because of the reason above, I will be taking control of multiple characters. These characters include but are not limited to: Jackson, Nik, Phil, The Hurricane, and the Chief Elder.

  • Follow what is happening, and don’t suddenly say that you are in The Hurricane’s tower setting up explosives. Keep with the plot and PM ideas to me.

-Personality: Charm is quick of mind and ready to charge into situations without thinking of the results. She has a penitent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She tends to rely on her other skills before using the elements. She also shy around from crowds and only has a couple of close friends. Charm has one rule. There is always a way out. This came from being in one two many bad situations. She can sneak past security and hide in plain site. She can move very quickly and can climb things like walls or trees.

-Description: She has shoulder length black hair, Small piercing green eyes, and a thin white scar running across her left cheek. She is short and thin, wearing a jet black jacket that seems to let the eyes slip over her. On each of her ring fingers she has a single ring. One red the other blue. She is wearing black trousers. blending in with her jacket. She wears a pair of pink shoes that seem oddly out of place. The shoes had little green spirals on the sides. She also wears a pair of sunglasses that are dark on oone eye and light on the other. Occasionally the Clear lens will have little blue lines running across it.

-History: She ran away from home to travel the world. On her way there she was attacked by some bandits. There were three of them. They had hidden behind an abandoned building before jumping out in a mad rush at any passers by. They managed to startle Charm enough to activated her powers. With a burst of fire one of the bandits was knocked back. When he hit the wall behind him he froze. The other bandits tried to run but the had their feet were encased in ice so they could not flee. Charm took the lead bandits Swords and walked away. Eventually she ran into Jackson. He took her to the Camp.

-Name: Elianne Theodosia

-Gender: Female

-Personality: A girl of great composure, few things in the world can faze Elianne (or Eli, as she sometimes prefers to be called), with only the most serious of the situations capable of dragging any overly major reaction out of her. She finds life far too fickle to stress over, preferring to take things easy and follow the flow of the world. Yet despite her seeming contentedness, there is definitely no dearth of ambition and drive within her heart - she is a dreamer, somebody who understands their goals, and knows every step needed to fulfil those goals. A strong work ethic and great determination lies beneath Elianne's calm demeanour, and when it is necessary, she will take to her duties like a tempest, ensuring that all that she does is to the best of her ability.

Even so, she can be quite egocentric, putting her own ambitions and needs before those of her fellows. It is not out of any real sense of inflated self-worth and arrogance, but a lack of empathy and understanding. Elianne is incapable of relating to others properly, and while she is quite a conversationalist from time to time, does not truly connect on anything but a superficial level. The complicated relationships that those around her have are confusing, and as such she has decided against trying to really understand. It is not a trait that wins her many friends, but the girl tries to deal. And yet because of her objectivity and apparent inability to create interpersonal relationships, it is possible that she may understand others better than she can understand herself.

No matter what, however, Elianne will still take to life with a simple attitude, and if possible, make a few card tricks along the way.

-Description: Neither overly short or overly tall, Elianne is quite the average girl, albeit a bit on the thin side. Her skin is an olive colour, a trait typical amongst those whose ancestors hail from the eastern Mediterranean, which is also the source of her dark brown hair, tied into a simple ponytail. A demeanour of relaxed kindness can be easily found in her posture and appearance, with her green eyes exuding a sense of calm.

Her outfits can vary from day to day, but it is evident that her white runners and red scarf will always be part of her outfit. Her preference in clothes is quite similar to her personality: relaxed amd simple. Basic t-shirts, trousers and skirts litter her wardrobe, with most in cool colours, as to contrast with her favoured scarf. She may not have a static outfit, but she does have a certain thene.

-History: Elianne is not native to the Americas, a fact quite evident from her distinctive accent. Indeed, she was born and raised far to the south-west, hailing from the island nation of New Zealand, where she lived until a job offer forced her and her family to emigrate to the United States. It had been quite a drastic change for the girl, as she had been thrust into a world far away from all that she had originally known.

Ironically, it would not be the USA that she would consider a new world - during her time in the unfamiliar country, Elianne discovered her ability to create mysterious lightshows, summoning brightness from her palms. It would catch the attention of Elementalists, and before she knew it, she had been recruited into a cause she had never known.

Yet one undeniable fact remains: she could do something for the world.

-Name: Iris

-Gender: Female

-Personality: She has a sweet demeanor, but does not deal well with high-stress situations that require quick-thinking and easily panics under pressure. She does better around personalities that radiate confidence, as she is highly empathetic. She will display anxiety if an ally has even a tiny injury or is emotionally upset by something, and is (sometimes unnecessarily) quick to provide comfort and assistance. It is not unusual for her to begin crying if she reaches even a slightly high level on any emotional scale, but dislikes discussing things that frighten her. She has a love and heavy respect for nature, plants, and the environment, and is therefore intrigued by her Earth element, but is very fearful of her Poison element as she doesn’t wish to bring harm to anybody. In fact, she would probably need encouragement to be anything besides defensive in battle, and would never purposefully strike a killing blow – unless, of course, a friend was in danger.

-Description: Just below average height, and on the thin side. Though she wears practical clothing for chores – jeans, black sneakers, and pale-coloured t-shirts constitute most of those ensembles – she will take absolutely any opportunity to wear a skirt or dress. Her favourite choice would be a pink nearly-knee-length pleated skirt with a white top and black shoes. She has a round head shape, with straight chestnut hair that reaches past her shoulders by a few inches, wispy bangs, and light brown eyes. She often wears flowers in her hair, typically roses or gardenias. Her skin is tanned from working outside. She always wears a silver chain necklace with a silver leaf charm.

-History: Iris’s mother died when she was very young, and her father passed suddenly in an accident a few years later. As such, she and her elder sister were raised primarily by their grandparents on a small, mostly botanical farm. Iris did not have a good relationship with her sister after her father passed, as her sister bullied her into taking on most of the work around the home. Iris learned early on how to balance her education and farm chores, as well as taking care of her ailing grandmother, and as such is not shy to responsibility. The physical demands of farm labour have made her more athletically adept than she tends to let on, especially as she isn’t keen on sports or competitions.

Iris began noticing her powers in little things – how the tomato plants would bend toward her as she went to harvest them, or how the soil would begin tilling itself before she even touched it. A blue triangular bruise on her left heel – which she couldn’t recall damaging – refused to go away. These small abnormalities took an abrupt change for the drastic one afternoon when she went for a walk in the forests near her home. The trees seemed to react to her every step, and the earth trembled beneath her feet. She made the crucial mistake of reaching curiously for one of the branches, and it exploded with rapid growth. She panicked, and her emotions intensified her powers. The ground shook and the weaker trees began to collapse around her. To her horror, when she tried to swat another wayward branch away, a completely different reaction occurred – it withered, and its leaves crumbled along the trembling ground. Unable to calm herself for long enough to cease her powers, Iris eventually collapsed from exertion and was fortunately found by Elementalists who were attracted to the scene.

-Elements: Earth/Poison

-Weapon Preference: She’s very familiar with scythes, which could lend well to other pole weapons.
-Name: Harris Nelson

-Gender: Male

-Personality: Harris enjoys embellishment, fitting very well into the trope of the "Big Ham." He is cheerful, energetic, outgoing, and a little bit ditzy. Ever the optimist, he completely fails to criticize anyone or thing, and is very verbal. He'll shout a lot of what he says, most of which is incoherent nonsense, the other part of which is overly zealous babble of justice. Harris doesn't know what he's talking about most of the time, and is not very knowledgable. He tends to take great offense from insults, but will mostly stay in his JUSTICE! character. He does, in fact, strongly believe in ideals and honor, vowing to fight for justice even when it seems wrong. Because of this, he does not get scared easily, and is difficult to dissuade from doing what he believes to be just.

Harris is a truly devoted friend who will warm up to people relatively quickly and stand with them until he can't even stand. He is infuriatingly clueless at times, however, and is virtually incapable of taking a hint in social situations. He is also completely and utterly reckless, rushing into most situations without thinking it through. However, Harris is brave because of it, and is less likely to be indecisive than most others around him. He is a caring person, despite not wanting to admit it, having a soft spot for younger children. He gets a bit emotional at times, but is particularly sensitive about this side of him, angrily confronting anyone who mentions it. Harris gets especially nervous and anxious around girls, with practically no exceptions, almost to the point where it is a crippling fear. Even so, he is verbose and dislikes being crossed, wanting his opinion to be the only one that matters, and hates being advised against doing things. Telling him not to do something will make him more determined to do it generally.

Harris is heterosexual, but is so awkward around girls that he is easily discouraged at the first sign of rejection. He dislikes hearing others's opinions, and is actually a Christian, but doesn't talk about it. He doesn't fear death, but dying without being meaningful. In fact, Harris really wants justice to be done and his life to have contributed to that. He is obsessed with reputation, constantly worrying about the present and how he is thought of. He isn't as worried about his legacy, and does not have qualms about things that do not help his legacy but help his reputation, as he does not plan that far ahead. Harris isn't incredibly smart in most intellectual areas, but has the charisma and strategic mind characteristic of a leader. However, he is too busy being grand and not listening to other people to ever really be one.

-Description: Harris stands at 5'8" and weighs 167 lbs., with a wide and muscular build. His shoulders are broad and his arms and legs are thick. His abdomen has more fat than muscle, but he does not look very fat for it. Harris has relatively average length arms, but they are well-built for a 13 year old. His hands are large, have long fingers, and are calloused. His legs are long and thick, but his feet aren't very large. Harris has an abnormal amount of leg and arm hair, but shaves somewhat regularly.

Harris has fair skin with freckles, which mainly show up on his face. He has dark blue hair (which was dyed from his original blonde hair) which he wears at an average length. He spikes his hair up at the front at a low angle, and his sideburns come down just past his ears. Harris is of European descent. His eyes are a light blue, and his nose is fat and low-profile. His mouth is generally wide open, but when it's not, he has thick lips and crooked teeth with braces. His ears stick out quite a bit. His overall face is wide and he's square-jawed, with several freckles and a long scar running from his the front of his right ear to the bottom of his chin. Harris also has a burn mark on the back of his right hand. He has a triangular bruise is on his left heel.

Harris wears loose solid colored T-shirts to hide the fat in his abdomen. If it's cold, he'll wear a leather jacket over it and a blood-red scarf. He wears solid colored shorts in warm weather and jeans when it's colder. He prefers to wear dark clothes, mainly black, gray, and dark red. Harris wears sneakers at all times, and will sometimes even wear round sunglasses.

-History: Harris grew up in a relatively normal and peaceful Christian home in Oklahoma, with two loving parents and an older sister. His sister, Allison, was much less loving than their parents, however, and frequently bullied him. This contributed to his fear of females. His parents strongly disapproved, but she continued to do so, and Harris was too scared to speak up. His mother would read him stories about knights and the like before he went to sleep, and he always wanted to become a hero. For his eleventh birthday, he got his first set of comic books, and he became addicted to them. Harris tended to have many friends who found his macho behavior funny. He played outside and worked out a lot with his dad, who was a football coach at the private school he went to. Because of this, he had a relatively early growth spurt, but remained fairly short.

Throughout all of this, Allison continued to pick on him, as she was much taller, and nearly as strong as him. When he turned thirteen, he decided to confront her about it, but she gave him a real beating. Infuriated, he lashed out at her again, and his elemental powers triggered. Harris left his sister with serious burns where he punched her, and he had a single burn on the back of his right hand from when he touched it to stop the burning sensation.

While he was being investigated by the police, one of the searchers heard the news and came down to the station. When he saw the bruise, he nearly fainted, and asked Harris to come with him, explaining that he must have been born with his Elemental familiarity, and told him about what the Elementals were. When Harris refused and asked to at least say goodbye to his parents, the searcher told him that if the government found out what he did, they would experiment on him or something. Harris would not budge, but then the searcher said that this was the chance for him to start over and become a hero, and Harris was sold, despite wanting to clear his name.

The searcher agreed to plant evidence that would convict him instead of Harris, and they wrote a note explaining very vaguely what was going on to his parents. After the searcher broke him out, they dropped by the hospital, and Harris apologized to his sister while she was heavily drugged and half-asleep. Crying, Harris was taken outside by the searcher, and they went to the Elemental world.

-Elements: Fire/Water

-Weapon Preference: Axes, Large and Heavy Claymore style swords
-Name: Nik

-Gender: Male

-Personality: Nik likes to keep to himself. Trying to make him do a thumbs up is like trying to tell a baby from England to speak Mandarin Chinese. He is smart, and often shows it off. He never likes to be outdone in anything. Nik can turn most conversations into full-on debates easily, and likes to trick people. However, despite him being a near genius, he doesn’t like doing schoolwork. Nik does actually have a soft side though, and once he really bonds with people, he will look out for them. Of course, it takes a while for him to get to know people well. Nik acts like he doesn’t, but he actually wants to get to know people and be their friends. He is an expert at chess, and is impressed by anyone that can outdo him.

-Description: Nik is slim, and wears tight clothes. The blue triangle bruise on his left heel is unnoticeable even he isn’t wearing anything on his feet. He prefers to wear blue and black clothes. Nik prefers to wear black socks and no shoes unless wet ground is involved. He never seems very imposing, and can easily be viewed as ‘not a threat’. When he fights with a knife, he will hold it so that the hilt is by his thumb, and sometimes does this with swords. Nik can run fast over short distances (never more than half a mile), and tires after battling/running for a decent time (half an hour or so).

-History: Nik has led a plain life as long as he could remember. He had always been marked for his intelligence, but didn’t care much. Nik’s mother had usually been a stay-at-home mom, until recently, when she went to college to study and get a career. This has left Nik alone most of the time with nothing to do but play games of chess against the computer. On one of his father’s days off, he went to the library. In the back of this library there was a glass panel, and behind it there were trees. Nik checked out a book and sat by the panel to read. He looked up and noticed that the trees had grown, and their branches were now extended towards the panel. Curious, he tapped the panel, and the branches tapped back, with about twenty times as much force. The glass broke, and the branches took him and he was conveyed via tree to an earth Elementalist who detected him affecting the trees. The trees released him and he tried to speed off, but the earth Elementalist tripped him with a root, knocking off his shoe and cutting his sock by the left heel. The Elementalist saw the blue triangle bruise and promptly knocked Nik out in order to transport him to the camp.

-Elements: Earth and Ninja

-Weapon Preference: Anything that he can summon with his Ninja skills (Thin swords, specifically katanas, shurikens, knives, or a staff) depending on the needs at the moment.
-Name: Klaus R. Henry (Kraus Rin Onry)

-Gender: Male

-Personality: Klaus, stuck in the Rococo era France which his family can be traced back to, acts as a proper prince. He lacks the heroics; however, he is still extremely brave. His bravery can be seen when he rescues what he considers to be a “damsel”, any living creature with a problem that he can solve. Due to his lack of actual power and influence in the world, he assists those with simple issues or requests. Even though he considers himself a prince in the 1700s, he does not speak old time, or even French for that matter. He does mix in some French words with his speech. His voice is not that strong booming either. Instead, he speaks soft and in a charming manner.

Klaus doesn’t discriminate when it comes to being a charmer. Klaus will do his best to charm and cheer up even the most crushed person. Even if he can’t cure them of their depression, he tries his best. He calls it nobility, the desire to help all even if the preferred outcome is futile. He considers Nobility the be the most important aspect of being princely. However, He’s never actually been attracted to anyone he helps and it can be apparent that he shows no romantic interest towards anyone at times. Klaus has never felt lonely, since he always fills the void with worldly objects. He spends more time shopping and watching television than he does creating bonds and relationships. When he actually does go out with his friends, he looking forward to the activity than who he is doing said activity with.

Weird mannerisms are also one of Klaus’s quirks. He covers his mouth when he yawns, pulls his shirt over his mouth when he sneezes, and a plethora of others such as walking as if the world is his catwalk. He can’t walk by flowers without stopping to smell them, and if they don’t have a fragrance, he states that it smells nice anyways. Besides his interest in being a French Prince Klaus is also interested in Yamato Nadeshiko, or the perfect Japanese women of the 1800s, which his family also traces back to. He cooks, cleans, sews, and has a fascination for Naginatas.

-Description: Klaus has a round head and neat black hair the frames his face nicely. His right (Your left) sideburn is longer than the other, so it is braided. While braided, it still reaches his shoulder. His eyes are brown, he didn’t get any of the French from his father at all since his skin has yellow undertones instead of pink. He did, however, inherit his father’s small nose and facial structure. He is known to wear circle lens to make his eyes appear wider. His eyebrows are very full and have a natural arc to them. His lips are also very full, and a dull pink.

Klaus is what the french would call taille moyenne. Taller than petit but shorter than grand. His weight is also average. His hands are small and stubby. He’d rather have longer bony fingers, but has accepted that it’s probably for the best that he doesn’t. His arms and legs are proportionate to his body, and his feet are on the small side. Around a tiny beauty mark on his left heel is the blue triangular bruise. The bruise is also pretty small, when tries to remember how he got it, the only thing that comes to his mind is being tickled by an octopus.

Klaus dresses in the growing japanese fashion known as Lolita. He is part of the Ouji genera which is dedicated to mens clothing, but can be worn by anyone. He has no static outfit, but there are staples to the fashion that he usually wears. Blouses with an abundance of ruffles are at the base of any outfit. Then layers such as vests, overcoats, tailcoats, military coats, blazers, boleros, capes, and other forms of traditional coats are worn. Optionally, he may or may not have a lot of bows on his outfits. The same goes with flowers and additional frill, such as wristlets, and breeches. As for hats, tricorns, top hats, silk hats, boaters, Navy caps, barrettes, crowns, and other hats that fit the royal or military look are usually sitting on his head. Klaus prefers to wear shorts instead of pants, but still has his rare days. All of his shoes have some form of heel to them, and some of them are decorated in plastic bows.

He does; however, have static accessories. Klaus always carries a parasol and a picnic basket.

-History: Klaus was born in the rather plain state of Washington. His father Luc, a baker of French descent and his mother, Nanami, the once famous model who was now retired, married after his mother’s contract was over and she could retire. Her job took her to France frequently, and she fell in love with a beautiful artisan baker. The duo moved to America, where a growing market for French bread was booming. With her success as a model, the couple opened a now popular boulangerie. They decided to have one child, but there were complications. After a few more tries, a healthy baby boy was born! They fought over French names such as Michel, and Robin, Japanese names like Hiro, and Fuyuki. They even tried hyphenated names, which are all the rage in France and came up with Fuyuki-Michel. However, in the end they decided to use the names of their family members who have passed away. Tracing their heritage as far back as they could, Klaus Rin Henry was the final verdict, Klaus actually went nameless for 6 month of his birth, simply referred to as Jean Doe. His father insisted on Jean instead of John since they are pronounced almost identically.

After naming the baby, Luc and Nanami were finally ready to focus only on raising their son to have a wonderful life. And indeed he did, he always had nice clothes and delicious food. His intelligence was average, but his parents were glad that their son wasn’t a complete idiot. They were also surprised that their Klaus wasn’t spoiled when he got older. He threw a slight tantrum when he couldn’t get buy expensive clothing, but other than that, he was content with what he had and getting other things within their spending rate. When Klaus grew to the ripe age of 13, and insisted on being called a prince, they decided to cheer him on. One day, during a post tea party stroll with his close friends, Klaus was abducted by a shady man who claimed to be be taking him to another world. Annoyed by the man, Klaus’s parasol transformed into a lace Naginata. Using his knowledge of self defence that his mother taught him, he narrowly escaped abduction and returned home. A few days later, a woman who claimed to be from the same organization as that man showed up at his house. His parents were surprised to learn what their son could do. When Klaus showed them his transforming parasol, as well as his ability to sparkle and radiate light, it amazed them. In favour of enhancing their son’s skills, they allowed Klaus to leave with the woman. He packed his entire closet, and his beloved scrapbook which pictured his mother’s old work, his father’s recipes, treasured family moments, and his favourite co-ords.

-Weapon Preference: Parasols. You can never go wrong with a parasol.

-Personality: In normal situations Roth is a calm and quiet person, and never speaks more than he has to. People who know him like to call his cool behaviour ‘the calm before the storm’, which is quite fitting, because as soon as action is required he’ll turn into an energetic hurricane of wildness. While Roth brims with self confidence when he lets his elemental powers flow through his body, he can appear a bit timid with his powers inactivated., as if he needs that spark burning inside of him to light up and reveal his true self.
In a group Roth can be a bit difficult to work with, as he can be stubborn at times and likes to believe his own ideas are better; and he may not always be willing to compromise or listen to what others want from him. However, he will loyally follow anyone who has earned his respect, and defend that person with his life if necessary.
In combat Roth has a wild, uncontrolled style of mostly physical combat. Using quick, but powerful punches and kicks mixed in with strikes of his weapon and elemental powers, he tries to overwhelm his opponent before they can get a chance to hit back. While his techniques are effective against weaker opponent, a more experienced opponent will be able to avoid Roth’s somewhat inaccurate barrage of attacks or may be able to block his combos with advanced defensive techniques.
When Roth’s on the winning side, he can give his opponent some time to breath. Not out of mercy, but to give himself time to show off a little before finishing it off. In a tight spot, Roth will actually calm down, and start thinking of the situation instead of continuing to wildly attack his opponent. This sudden change can throw enemies off guard, especially if they had thought of Roth as no more than a mindless barbarian.

-Description: Roth is a little above average in length. He has an athletic build, but his muscles are nothing to brag about really. He has brown eyes, his hair is dark blonde and usually a mess because he forgets to comb it. Roth likes simple clothing. He usually wears his favourite bright red sweatshirt, and standard blue jeans, which certainly isn’t the most classy of clothing combos, but it works for Roth. Though he dreams of having something more heroic to wear some day, as he thinks he deserves to with the powers he’s got.

-History: Roth’s life hasn’t been very exciting up to this point. He grew up in a small and peaceful town where nothing really ever happens. He’s got one brother and a few friends who make a tight group together. Though no one else but Roth has any elemental powers in their little group. Roth discovered his powers over time, when he noticed he was able to consistently predict upcoming bad weather and thunderstorms. Every time a storm would come up, Roth would feel his senses tingling and he'd be full with energy. Only just in recent years he has learned how to control some of his powers and he is able to create small sparks of electricity from the top of his fingers.
Roth learned how to fight thanks to the help from his friends; they would regularly go out in the woods, collect the best sticks they could find and then spar against each other. They would hold tournaments, and sometimes even place bets. Regardless of the nature of these competitive games, their bonds have only grown stronger over the years.

-Weapon Preference: As of now Roth uses a strong wooden stick he’s found in the woods near his home. He can handle it in ways similar to fighting with a pole or a sword.

-Gender: Male

-Personality: Mister Keita is a man of many words. He is constantly blabbering, speaking his mind on whatever topic strikes his fancy. It is made quite clear that he holds a passion for conversation, a trait that is evident during his bouts of public speaking. From time to time, however, he also exhibits certain opinions that can be considered rather “out-there”, such as the belief that basketball is the work of the Devil. Yet despite these eccentricities, he is capable of socialising with other human beings with great ease. He is quite a charming fellow, and very persuasive from time to time.

However, Mister Keita is incredibly oblivious in regards to how others view him. He truly believes that they see him at best as a mere friend and at worst as a total idiot. As such, he has developed an inferiority complex, seeing his own self-worth as barely anything. Even so, he possesses the spirit of a true gentleman, understanding that all people should strive to be mature and charitable to others. He refuses to let his own shortcomings affect the lives of those he meets.
He’s also Islamic, and also enjoys long walks under the moonlight.

-Description: A rather tall boy for his age, Mister Keita is regarded by his compatriots as a rather imposing fellow. His skin, smooth and appealing due to judicious use of aloe vera, is quite dark, for his ancestors hailed from west Africa. His black dreadlocks are slicked back, with tinges of purple present on the tips of hair. An unconventional appearance by any means, but all-in-all he can be considered rather handsome by all who meet him.

Although in possession of a wide variety of clothing, he usually sticks to a well-pressed black suit, a white tie, and ray-bans. He also wears nice dress shoes, but is surprisingly fast at running in them.

-History: Mister Keita was born in the metal jungle of Detroit. As the son of a librarian he grew up surrounded by tales of courage and honor. As such he decided to defy the expectations placed upon him, and rise in the fashion of true gentleman. He spent much of his childhood reading and expanding his vocabulary.

When he grew older he left with his uncle to the bustling city of New York in the beautiful state of New York. Mister Keita learned what it takes to be a true gentleman. Watching the witty banter of politicians, Mister Keita honed his speech to an art. He became involved in debate, and became well known in the elementary circuit as “Mister Keita” - Mister Keita for short. Indeed, the moniker bestowed upon him by his compatriots in debating stuck with him even beyond elementary school.

It was during a cold winter when Mister Keita first discovered the presence of his Elementalist abilities. He had been traversing the snow towards the gym at which he and his fellow debaters honed their physical capabilities in order to complement the sharpness of their mental blades and fulfil the sports requirements demanded by his school. He had arrived at the doors of the gym when he discovered that nobody could see him! His ninja powers had activated, hiding him from the sight of all who gazed upon his figure. It had been shocking, but all his confusion would be laid to rest when he returned home!

A true gentleman of an Elementalist had met him at the door, speaking with his uncle and serving cups of beautifully-prepared tea. After some discussion, Mister Keita learnt of what powers truly existed within his gentlemanly heart, and he and his uncle agreed that he would follow this truly gentlemanly gentleman to the camp of the Elementalists, where he would learn to harness the powers that he possessed and become a true gentleman, the ideal gentleman that all gentlemen strove to become!

-Gender: Female

-Personality: Although clearly attempting to present herself as levelheaded and wise, Alexandria's emotions sometimes get the better of her, leading to frequent outbursts. Most are directed at the object of her ire, which usually is something that has angered or embarrassed her, especially if said something was also a source of illogic. However, she has begun to temper herself in recent times, and as such tries her best to reduce her displays of hostility - mostly through breathing techniques to calm herself.

Despite her character flaws, she is indeed a good decision-maker, capable of weighing each and every factor to find an optimal solution to whatever situation is at hand. Heavily grounded in logic, she can be quite frazzled by whatever weirdness she experiences, but she has successfully reigned in her emotions in such matters, her outbursts usually stemming from the actions rather than the world's own, innate strangeness. It is difficult to understand from time to time, but Alexandria tries to cope.

Beneath her grumpy exterior, Alexandria is actually very warm-hearted, holding a fondness for her loved ones. She can be kind and charitable, wishing to act in a meaningful manner to assist those she considers close to her. It can be somewhat difficult for her to constantly try and act charitably to others, however, for her emotional state is prone to fluctuation and change.

-Description: Alexandria can be quite embarrassed by her height, standing taller than the usual girl her age. With flowing locks, pale skin and cheekbones to die for, she simply exudes regality, something she finds quite unnecessary and overly attention-catching, especially at such a young age. It is impossible, however, for her to try and act in any other manner. She carries herself with a sense of strength, carrying her body upright to meet whatever life throws at her. Indeed, it takes no more than a look into her cold blue eyes to discover how resolute she truly is.

In terms of clothing she has a preference towards wearing her favoured leather jacket wherever she may go. She dislikes wearing skirts, and such prefers pants such as jeans or other such trousers. From time to time, she also wears a hat.

-History: A native of the Channel Islands, Alexandria is a girl of mixed ancestry, with her father hailing from Normandy and her mother from Devon in south-western England. Growing up as a child, she was exposed to both of her parents' native tongues, learning both English and French without any extra emphasis place on any one of the languages. By the time she was seven, it was clear that she possessed fluent knowledge of the languages spoken by her parents, as well as some affinity for Norman due to the influence of both her paternal grandparents and her peers on the Islands. Her upbringing in the English Channel had indeed made her multilingual.

When she was eight however, Alexandria and her family would emigrate to the United States, settling in a city along the nation's eastern coast. She would find the transition from the Old World to the New somewhat perturbing, but it did not take long for her to adapt to her new life, crafting her own niche in the States. Her supposedly-exotic accent appealed greatly to her occidental classmates, assisting her in fully settling down and enjoying herself. America had not been what she expected, but it was still quite welcoming to her all the same.

Alexandria's first contact with powers beyond understanding would occur mere days after her eleventh birthday. During an outing, the young girl found that time had begun to slow for her, an occurrence that was quite shocking for someone so used to dealing with normality. Yet the supernatural powers that has manifested within her, not that she knew at the time, would appear sporadically over the next two years, always acting without any of her input. She was suspicious of their source, niggling thoughts in her mind attributing their cause to herself, but she would never be able to confirm it.

It would not be until she turned thirteen that she learnt of the true origins of her powers. She had been taking a walk in the park one day when the world around her was obscured by the shadows, the abyss swallowing any light that dared breach through the immense darkness. While most people might have been terrified by the advent of such darkness, Alexandria took it as an opportunity to enjoy a nice nap. However she was later rudely awoken by a passing Elementalists who thought she was in a danger. She later decided to follow in hopes of learning better control.

-Gender: Female

-Personality: Charm is quick of mind and ready to charge into situations without thinking of the results. She has a penitent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She tends to rely on her other skills before using the elements. She also shy around from crowds and only has a couple of close friends. Charm has one rule. There is always a way out. This came from being in one two many bad situations. She can sneak past security and hide in plain site. She can move very quickly and can climb things like walls or trees.

-Description: She has shoulder length black hair, Small piercing green eyes, and a thin white scar running across her left cheek. She is short and thin, wearing a jet black jacket that seems to let the eyes slip over her. On each of her ring fingers she has a single ring. One red the other blue. She is wearing black trousers. blending in with her jacket. She wears a pair of pink shoes that seem oddly out of place. The shoes had little green spirals on the sides. She also wears a pair of sunglasses that are dark on oone eye and light on the other. Occasionally the Clear lens will have little blue lines running across it.

-History: She ran away from home to travel the world. On her way there she was attacked by some bandits. There were three of them. They had hidden behind an abandoned building before jumping out in a mad rush at any passers by. They managed to startle Charm enough to activated her powers. With a burst of fire one of the bandits was knocked back. When he hit the wall behind him he froze. The other bandits tried to run but the had their feet were encased in ice so they could not flee. Charm took the lead bandits Swords and walked away. Eventually she ran into Jackson. He took her to the Camp.

Name: Elianne Theodosia
Gender: Female
Personality: A girl of great composure, few things in the world can faze Elianne (or Eli, as she sometimes prefers to be called), with only the most serious of the situations capable of dragging any overly major reaction out of her. She finds life far too fickle to stress over, preferring to take things easy and follow the flow of the world. Yet despite her seeming contentedness, there is definitely no dearth of ambition and drive within her heart - she is a dreamer, somebody who understands their goals, and knows every step needed to fulfil those goals. A strong work ethic and great determination lies beneath Elianne's calm demeanour, and when it is necessary, she will take to her duties like a tempest, ensuring that all that she does is to the best of her ability.

Even so, she can be quite egocentric, putting her own ambitions and needs before those of her fellows. It is not out of any real sense of inflated self-worth and arrogance, but a lack of empathy and understanding. Elianne is incapable of relating to others properly, and while she is quite a conversationalist from time to time, does not truly connect on anything but a superficial level. The complicated relationships that those around her have are confusing, and as such she has decided against trying to really understand. It is not a trait that wins her many friends, but the girl tries to deal. And yet because of her objectivity and apparent inability to create interpersonal relationships, it is possible that she may understand others better than she can understand herself.

No matter what, however, Elianne will still take to life with a simple attitude, and if possible, make a few card tricks along the way.

Description: Neither overly short or overly tall, Elianne is quite the average girl, albeit a bit on the thin side. Her skin is an olive colour, a trait typical amongst those whose ancestors hail from the eastern Mediterranean, which is also the source of her dark brown hair, tied into a simple ponytail. A demeanour of relaxed kindness can be easily found in her posture and appearance, with her green eyes exuding a sense of calm.

Her outfits can vary from day to day, but it is evident that her white runners and red scarf will always be part of her outfit. Her preference in clothes is quite similar to her personality: relaxed amd simple. Basic t-shirts, trousers and skirts litter her wardrobe, with most in cool colours, as to contrast with her favoured scarf. She may not have a static outfit, but she does have a certain thene.

History: Elianne is not native to the Americas, a fact quite evident from her distinctive accent. Indeed, she was born and raised far to the south-west, hailing from the island nation of New Zealand, where she lived until a job offer forced her and her family to emigrate to the United States. It had been quite a drastic change for the girl, as she had been thrust into a world far away from all that she had originally known.

Ironically, it would not be the USA that she would consider a new world - during her time in the unfamiliar country, Elianne discovered her ability to create mysterious lightshows, summoning brightness from her palms. It would catch the attention of Elementalists, and before she knew it, she had been recruited into a cause she had never known.

Yet one undeniable fact remains: she could do something for the world.

Iris: Earth/Poison

I'll come back and update as soon as I can.

EDIT: It's been years since I've last RP'd, so feel free to make me change anything below. I took my best guess at the characteristics of the Earth/Poison elements.

-Name: Iris

-Gender: Female

-Personality: She has a sweet demeanor, but does not deal well with high-stress situations that require quick-thinking and easily panics under pressure. She does better around personalities that radiate confidence, as she is highly empathetic. She will display anxiety if an ally has even a tiny injury or is emotionally upset by something, and is (sometimes unnecessarily) quick to provide comfort and assistance. It is not unusual for her to begin crying if she reaches even a slightly high level on any emotional scale, but dislikes discussing things that frighten her. She has a love and heavy respect for nature, plants, and the environment, and is therefore intrigued by her Earth element, but is very fearful of her Poison element as she doesn’t wish to bring harm to anybody. In fact, she would probably need encouragement to be anything besides defensive in battle, and would never purposefully strike a killing blow – unless, of course, a friend was in danger.

-Description: Just below average height, and on the thin side. Though she wears practical clothing for chores – jeans, black sneakers, and pale-coloured t-shirts constitute most of those ensembles – she will take absolutely any opportunity to wear a skirt or dress. Her favourite choice would be a pink nearly-knee-length pleated skirt with a white top and black shoes. She has a round head shape, with straight chestnut hair that reaches past her shoulders by a few inches, wispy bangs, and light brown eyes. She often wears flowers in her hair, typically roses or gardenias. Her skin is tanned from working outside. She always wears a silver chain necklace with a silver leaf charm.

-History: Iris’s mother died when she was very young, and her father passed suddenly in an accident a few years later. As such, she and her elder sister were raised primarily by their grandparents on a small, mostly botanical farm. Iris did not have a good relationship with her sister after her father passed, as her sister bullied her into taking on most of the work around the home. Iris learned early on how to balance her education and farm chores, as well as taking care of her ailing grandmother, and as such is not shy to responsibility. The physical demands of farm labour have made her more athletically adept than she tends to let on, especially as she isn’t keen on sports or competitions.

Iris began noticing her powers in little things – how the tomato plants would bend toward her as she went to harvest them, or how the soil would begin tilling itself before she even touched it. A blue triangular bruise on her left heel – which she couldn’t recall damaging – refused to go away. These small abnormalities took an abrupt change for the drastic one afternoon when she went for a walk in the forests near her home. The trees seemed to react to her every step, and the earth trembled beneath her feet. She made the crucial mistake of reaching curiously for one of the branches, and it exploded with rapid growth. She panicked, and her emotions intensified her powers. The ground shook and the weaker trees began to collapse around her. To her horror, when she tried to swat another wayward branch away, a completely different reaction occurred – it withered, and its leaves crumbled along the trembling ground. Unable to calm herself for long enough to cease her powers, Iris eventually collapsed from exertion and was fortunately found by Elementalists who were attracted to the scene.

-Weapon Preference: She’s very familiar with scythes, which could lend well to other pole weapons.
