Seasoned Trainer
This thread is simply for people who want things done for them in large quantities or who want things done as fast as possible from anyone. In this thread, anyone can post to request, and anyone can answer that request.
All right, HERE WE GO! Although this has been talked about before (by Oblivion0807 in the “No more ‘Please make me this!’ threads!” thread here), it hasn’t been done before (at least, if it has, I haven’t seen it). Well, I’m here to try it out! If all of you would please READ THE RULES AND FOLLOW THEM TO THE LETTER, we can all get along very well, and the mods won’t have to replace their own titles with “SPAM police”.
These are the rules, read them, know them...
1. All SPPF rules apply. (no kidding…)
2. TITLE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOUR POSTS!!! If you don’t, your request WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. Here’s the reason.
People will use the “Search Thread” button on a regular basis, so if you click “Search Thread”, a box will drop down. You will then type in the name of the person/item you are looking for, and the search will bring up everything by title. If you do not title your posts, the search function will not work as well, and things might become cluttered.
It’s easy; here are the very simple directions to follow…
a. To the “customer”: If you are posting to request a banner / trainer card / sprite / etc., type the name of the request in the “title” box on the top of the “new post” window. For example, if you want a trainer card, type “trainer card” as the title of your post. Keep in mind, that most people use set patterns for the trainer cards they make, so when you describe it in the post, BE DETAILED. This applies to anything else that you request; BE DETAILED (as detailed as you can be).
Use these titles:
Trainer Card(s)
Banner(s)
Sprite(s)
Re-Color(s)
Animation(s)
Scenery (Sceneries)
(Still working on some more, PM me with suggestions!)
b. To the artist: When you come here, search the thread for anything that you want to try out (TCs, sprites). If you are posting to answer a request, title your post (which will be the finished product) with the user’s name. Of course, the PM system works well, too (use it).
c. When you want to come get your product(s), just bring up “Search Thread”, and type in your user name. The search will bring up any posts that that were titled for you.
3. This is NOT a conversation thread! Really, it’s like the other things on this forum; request what you want; get what you want; and leave. Leave the conversation to other forums and PMs.
4. Give Credit. I didn't think that this was a rule as much as a guideline. I actually thought that it was between artist and "customer", but it's a rule. Follow it.

Miscellaneous
Please don't forget about the other shops on the art forum. If it's just something simple, try requesting there. This thread was made to give freedom to the artist. When you request something, you are giving the artist to take your idea and run with it! Just keep that in mind when you make your requests. Thanks.

I want to thank the mods for this forum. I contacted them all about this beforehand and agreed to write this thread up if a majority was in favor. Well, three contacted me with a positive response. And one (I’m pretty sure) wasn’t completely for the idea. To that one I’d like to say that I know what you’re talking about, and in a way, I agree. If it gets too cluttered, and you have to close it down, I would understand completely. Let’s just try it out and see what happens!
Note to “customers”: You may get multiple answers if you post here.
Note to artists: Be prepared to see somebody else’s work get chosen over yours.
HAPPY POSTING!
(And happy holidays. )
