Welcome to The Fifth Monthly SPPf Comic Contest! I'm your host, Oblivion DCCCVII (that's the eight hundred and seventh, morons)! This month's theme is to give your answer to the age-old question:

How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?

The comics will judged in the following areas:
Relevance: Does it stay on-topic? There's a theme for a reason, y'know. 20 pts.
Humor: Go ahead. Just try to make me laugh. Like I say: If it ain't funny, it ain't a comic. 40 pts.
Comic Quality: It has to be pleasing to the eye. Otherwise, you're getting nowhere. 20 pts.
Comic Mechanics: How well it follows the general guidelines. For more info, see the Do's & Don'ts of comic making. 20 pts.

The judges are Blueguy and the host (moi). You have until April 25th to post your comics, at which point any posts with entries will be promptly deleted.

No, peter, if Infinity won't judge then I'll find someone else suitable. Not that there's anything wrong with you, I just think that there are others who could do it better. Or perhaps just Blueguy and I will judge. Who knows? Only me, that's who.

If "pleasing to the eye" means halfassed Sprite comics, then you can count me out, though.
Also, I lost much respect for you for stealing that comic's entire dialogue from Creative Worlds.
You unoriginal loser.
I also don't think that comics need to be "funny". I seen plenty of webcomics that are really serious, and amazingly awesome. Humor should not be a factor.

I knew it was from creative worlds, too, and it doesn't irritate me in the least. Stealing jokes is fine for a simple example comic.

Anyway, I might enter in this one. Got a couple of ideas...

I don't exactly have control over this, but if I did I would say no, because you truly don't have a very good background, nor too much experience in comics... and plus, begging is irritating. -_-

This is a very odd topic.

Anyways, I remember Infinity expressing that he would prefer to be asked, and so would I, but I will judge again.

I THINK that if people concentrated a little, Oblivion was using that Creativeworlds animation as an EXAMPLE. Considering this is a COMIC competition, he was portraying that exact, original joke in comic form to show a guideline - I highly doubt he intended on getting away with stealing the joke.

Isn't that sort of redundant? If we're already angry, there's no point in telling us not to get mad, because it'd be hard to be angry without being mad-- they come hand in hand. So, unless you know a way to brutally wrench synonyms apart, that doesn't make any sense at all. ;;

Clockworkz: You don't really know how things run here, do you? I know that I took the dialogue and converted it into comic form. It was an EXAPMLE. Get. Over. It. As for half-***ed comics, that's what yours is. Not even, in fact. It's barely even quarter-***ed. And please edit it for content. Some people in here are much younger than you, and swearing is not permitted in any SPPf comics. I'll save my full review for later, but take a stroll around the forums and pick up a few things from the other authors. And comics around here are designed to be funny. Except for a few hand-drawers, everyone here makes it a point to include humor. Humor is the point of a comic, so it's going to be counted. Any more contradictions and I'll ask MS to come in here. Don't make me.
