Sick of dealing with idiots.
The episode starts with Ash and co. walking through the Lumiose Badlands.

Clemont has his Luxio with him, outside his Pokeball.

Ash and Clemont talk about their upcoming Gym Battle.

There is a flashback to when Ash and Clemont promised to battle eachother as they lie in bed.

The title card focuses on Clemont.

Ash and co. are resting for in the Lumiose Badlands.

Clemont has some flashbacks to his memories of Ash so far.

He remembers when Ash tried to stop Professor Sycamore's Garchomp from rampaging.

He remembers when Ash's Froakie battle Ash's Fletchinder.

When Ash tries to stop Team Rocket.

When Ash climb the wall in Grant's Gym.

When Ash jumped along the wild Driflimb.

When Ash battles against Korrina.

The flashbacks have ended.

Ash and co. continue walking through the Lumiose Badlands and they see a building nearby.

It is the Kalos Power Plant and Clemont tells the others about it.

As they go near it, Pikachu, Dedenne and Luxio's eyes all glow red.

They have become possessed by something.

The three Electric Type Pokemon try to attack Ash and co. with their Electric attacks.

Pikachu, Dedenne and Luxio go inside the Kalos Power Plant, while still being possessed.

They go inside, with multiple other different Electric Type Pokemon who are also possessed.

The doors close as the Pokemon enter.

Ash and co. try to find another entrance.

They find another way into the Kalos Power Plant.

Ash brings out his Frogadier to help break into the Kalos Power Plant.

Ash and co. are crawling through an air vent and then they fall down to the room below.

They get up after falling and they see three men tied up in the room.

Ash and co. untie the men in the room.

The men work at the Kalos Power Plant and they say that some people tricked them into letting them in.

The people who tricked them are Team Rocket and they are the ones who tied the three workers together.

Ash and co. plan on going after the people who did this.

Ash sends out his Hawlucha, Clemont sends out his Bunnelby and Serena sends out her Pancham.

Dare Da? Magnemite.

Team Rocket are watching all of the possessed Electric Pokemon that are all gathered in a room.

Team Rocket are also watching this from a separate room.

Meowth notices Ash's Pikachu and Clemont's Dedenne and Luxio.

Ash and co. come across the room with all of the possessed Electric Pokemon, including their Pokemon.

Team Rocket have stolen the electricity that is being used to power Lumiose City.

Ash moves forward towards Pikachu and then Pikachu attacks him with Thunderbolt.

Clemont then walks forward towards Luxio and Luxio bites Clemont's right shoulder.

Luxio then attack Clemont with Thunder Fang.

Clemont grabs onto something with his Aipom Arm.

Something happens that stops all of the Electric Type Pokemon from being possessed.

Clemont then hugs his Luxio and Luxio starts to evolve.

Luxio evolves into Luxray.

Clemont's Luxray then uses Electric Terrain to attack Team Rocket.

All of the other Electric Type Pokemon at the Kalos Power Plant attack Team Rocket with Electric attacks.

Team Rocket blast off.

As the sunsets, all of the workers at the Power Plant are planning to head toward Lumiose City.

Clemont says that he wants to join them and go to Lumiose City as well.

Clemont tells Ash and co. that he wants to train before his Gym Battle with Ash.

Bonnie is sad that Clemont is leaving for a bit.

Clemont and the workers take off in the helicopter and they head toward Lumiose City.

To be continued.

Soon™?
Okay I wasn't expecting Clemont to leave the group temporarily, seemingly for gym battle preparations. (Anyone have any idea how long he's gonna do this?).

Review coming soon.

Kind of disappointed we didn't hear even a peep about Team Flare. Aside from that, pretty meh episode aside from a few decent moments. Funny how Luxio was conveniently out of his Pokeball at the beginning of the episode with 0 explanation, it's not like he makes a habit out of it like Pikachu or Dedenne.
I'm looking forward to how Clemont's absence might change things up. Kinda funny he just leaves Bonnie with them, you'd think he'd take her back with him, or at least try to and have Bonnie say no.

That means 3 episodes without Clemont. One of them being about Jessie, the other being about Serena and the last one being about Tierno.

He'll probably be in the Clembot episode.

Well, this came WAY out of left field. Initially I thought it would be like the previous evolution episode but they have blown my expectations away with this one.

First off, Team Rocket is particularly evil in this one, they are pretty much terrorists here. Second I like the team work given off by the characters, though Serena didn't do much other than use Pancham to destroy a door and later promising Clemont to take care of Bonnie. They were able to play off each other's strengths, with Ash being pretty much the TANK and the leader of the group, knowing that he is able to withstand an electric attack, and having the others hide, while Clemont was the brains.

However, the most important aspect of this episode is of course, surprisingly not Luxray, but Clemont's development and the foreshadowing of the BroBowl. And man, did they go all out with that one. Clemont has flashbacks before and after the opening of how awesome Ash is and compares his strength to him as a gym leader. I guess this episode wouldn't be the same with the ending if not for this. They laid it on thick but in a good way. Clemont's thoughts toward the battle and the city hung over him throughout the episode and is resolved when Clemont himself "does an Ash" and tries to snap Luxio out of its mind control.

Goddman great episode, very intense. This is what I felt when I was watching Serena's TriPokalon debut episode. Suspense ever hung about it. We know what was going to happen in the episode but there was something off about it. And they delivered. That promise in the end and that separation between the brothers. The fellowship has been broken but will be reformed. The travel as friends but will battle as brothers.

..he left for Miare City. He's not going to return to the group, they are going to continue on foot and reunite with him.

I especially like that they cut to show the hospital's power going out as well. Oh well, I never liked those jerks on life support and dialysis anyway.

I thought that was a great episode for Clemont and Team Rocket. Not sure I needed to see Ash take a mind-controlled thunderbolt from Pikachu again but at least it was only brief. Gym battle hype.

Hmm, I thougt him parting ways was going to be sooner, I thought it wasn't going to happen.
Regardless, There was interesting development for the older lemon head, an evolution on top of that.
What I was dissapointed with is that he made up his mind in one episode about leaving, it wasn't something reocurring, he just sudden up and left, hit me by surprise.
Eureka was nearly going to burst into tears, oh I feel sorry for her.
Anyway, it was a good episode.

The writers put Clemont on a bus, I'm assuming so he could get stuff done, while SatoSere and Bonnie continue traveling on their own as well, as a way to justify his future power at the gym. It's basically the writers way of acknowledging they screwed up Clemont's gym leader and battle side badly and are probably sending him off to rectify to it somewhat, this is better than nothing but at the same time this shows to me that they were fully aware they didn't give enough of a **** about Clemont and instead of showing we're going to tell to compensate. I would have rather seen Clemont grow stronger as a gym leader leading up the gym battle and very proactive from the point he joined the cast rather than becoming so magically in the future out of the blue and getting a Luxio the writers didn't give a crap about and then dissolving back into complete joke territory in the future.

That being said, as someone whose fav type is Electric, this episode was pretty glorious for me in that regard.
