If Ash strictly uses his JN team? It wouldn’t make much sense mainly because they lack experience. They are all powerhouses in their own way but Cynthia’s Garchomp is just on a whole different level. Ash’s reserves have been training amongst themselves while he’s away so using them would be a lot more realistic.

I'd have a mixture of reserves for his first 2 master class battles (not just the Sinnoh team for cynthia but others as well, with Infernape Vs Garchomp ofc being the final battle) and have his main JN team against Leon
Also no I don't want reserves back yet unless it's episodes like Gary's episode. I'd rather all the remaining hyper class battles be with JN team. They can easily be 'salvaged', nothings too wrong or gone, idk where that notion is coming from

So I guess the semi-finals will be Cynthia vs Leon and Ash vs someone or Leon vs someone and Ash vs Cynthia. I totally see Cynthia being the last one to leave before the final.
Unless Ash does not Reach the Final and the Final match will be Leon vs Cynthia.

I bet now we will see other z moves when ash fights type specialist in hyper and master class. He may use fire type z move and bring incineroar against flint.
We don't know that. She may have just recently gotten in. As for needing Mega Evolution, I think she would if she wants to take on a trained Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokémon and win since Dynamaxing/Gigantamaxing seems to confer a bit boost in power as well as size. However, I could easily see her take advantage of its weakness (lack of speed) and pull off a win that way. And if she has been in the Masters 8 for a while, I could see her having lost to Leon, but having discovered Dynamax/Gigantamax's weakness in the process meaning that a potential rematch could have a different outcome.
As there is a Top 8, I assume Ash has to beat one of them to get their slot, so my guess is that would be Raihan.
Considering how this series is going I can‘t see Ash beating multiple Champs, they haven‘t let him battle an E4 or Champ besides Iris in this series.
