We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.
In Society there have always been those who have class and those who don’t. Both of these people have formed their own groups. Those with none sought homes with each other in tightly bound groups often resorting to breaking the law to survive. We belong to the other group, those who have always had class.
We strove to break away from the others, to find a place where we could escape the meager and weak that plagues the rest of Serebii. And thus We created what is known today as the The Gentleman’s Club, a place where only those with absolute class are allowed. If you wish to become part of our wondrous establishment then prove yourself to be a true gentleman or leave and forever be a part of the commoners we look down upon.
Good evening, gentlemen. And welcome to the lounge. I am Kingothestone, but you may call me Kots. This is the 3rd clan that I will be leading, and trust me when I say that I am good at what I do. I am a very no-nonsense individual, but as long as you toe the line, I am sure we will get along fine. In addition to being your leader, I will also serve as your guide for all things credit related. But first, We need to go over some rules.
RULES
Please follow these to the best of your ability.
1. Follow all SPPF Rules
2. The leaders are here to do just that. Lead. Respect them and they will respect you. All there is to it. All their decisions are final. If you have an issue though, go to them. They will try to help as best they can.
3. All members will be required to make at least one post per month unless we are given advance notice of an extended absence. Exceptions will be made for certain members.
4.All battles count unless both parties are specifically aware of the fact that the battle does NOT count. This decision must be reached PRIOR to the first turn.
5.Every time you engage in a clan battle the scores MUST be posted in the correct format, found here:
And now, on to the important information. You may gain access to credits in any of the following manners:
There will be many ways in which you can rank up in the Club. Anything you achieve makes us look good, and so we believe that not only should you be given recognition for in-clan activities, but also what you achieve outside of the clan. And for that reason, all of the following will earn you clan credits.
In-Clan Activities
Battling other members and participating in wars and tournaments will give you mo money. We believe that these are all ways in which not only you can improve your battling skills, but can also help your fellow members in improving theirs. The amount of money made for In-Clan Activities:
Defeating a higher ranked member - 5
Defeating a same ranked member - 4
Defeating a lower ranked member - 3
Draw against a ranked member - 2
Losing to any ranked member - 1
Winning a Clan Tournament - 40
Runner up in Tournament - 20
Coming third in Tournament - 10
Participatin in a Tournament - 3
Winning a War battle - 5
Losing a War battle - 1

When you defeat a Frontier Brain, you must post that you have done so, and include a link to the post of said Brain in which they acknowledge that you have defeated them.
Other Sppf Leagues
Become champion - 50
When you become champion of a League or Frontier, you must post saying you have done so, and include a link to the post of the former champion/ final Gym Leader in which they acknowledge that you have defeated them.
Sppf Tournaments
Win an official tournament - 125
Runner up in tournament - 60
Coming third in tournament - 30
Win a non-official tournament - 100
Runner up in tournament - 50
Coming third in tournament - 25
When you place in a tournament, you must post saying that you have done so, and link to the tournament post saying that you have placed.
Other Forum Activities
If you are part of another forum and are gaining achievements there, you will be given recognition within the clan. Mo money will be awarded for Other Forum Activities:
Winning a Smogon tournament - 200
Runner up in tournament - 100
Coming third in tournament - 50
On the smogon PO server, you can gain credits for reaching certain point values in any of the following (singles) tiers:
OU - 1350
UU - 1350
RU - 1250
NU - 1250
LC - 1250
You will recieve 40 credits by reaching any of these milestones. Additionally, for every 50 points over the assigned value you reach, you will recieve 5 credits.
You will need to take print screens or other forms of evidence to prove your achievements outside of these forums. Take the screenshot and post it IN A SPOILER, also stating what it is you have achieved.
Spending Credits
You will be able to spend your credits on two things:
Ranking up
When ranking up, you will need a certain amount of credits for each rank up. After ranking up, your credits will not be deducted but will carry on. Each rank up will have it's cost:
1st Rank Up - 20
2nd Rank Up - 40
3rd Rank Up - 80
4th Rank Up - 120
5th Rank Up - 180
6th Rank Up - 240
7th Rank Up - 480
You will not have to spend your credits throughout the ranking up process. In addition to getting the required number of Credits, members must also win 10 battles in the rank that they are in before they can rank up.
Members will also have to partake in a Gentleman's game of fisticuffs with one of the bosses once the 3rd rank is achieved. Good luck and may you make lots of money.
You will also be able to spend credits in shops, which you will learn about in the next post.

The signups have ended with a whopping 42 participants. While this may seem unruly, it is actually relatively simple. As you will be able to see in the bracket, there will be 10 matches in round 1. If you are not participating in round 1, you have an automatic bye to round 2. ALL BYES WERE COMPLETELY RANDOM. This does not mean, however, that you should not prepare your team. The bye should benefit you, as you will have an extra week to make a team that can outdo your opponent. That being said, let’s get to the good stuff.
First, the word assignments. I have worked to randomly assign each of you a word. The assignments for this round can be found below. These will be your words for rounds 1 and 2.
-Remember, you must create a team whose ENGLISH names begin with the letters in your word.
-For example, say I got the word 'HEART'. That would mean I could create a team using Haxorus 'H', Empoleon 'E', Accelgor 'A', Reuniclus 'R', and Tyranitar 'T'. The last slot in your team will be a wildcard of your choice.
-The tier for this tournament is Standard BW OU. No Ubers and no Unreleased DW abilities. All other smogon rules apply.
-Each match will be a BEST OF 3 contest in an effort to eliminate hax. You will be allowed to change teams if you want to, but all teams used must fit your word.
