Also I dont think Goh's capture was bad, in fact it was a hilarious gag on how the evolution happens in the game when the mon randomly appears in your pocket after a nincada evolves. This episode was good with the gags, also I think you'd like the episode with how it treats Ash in relation with Goh

The capture on its own being about Shedinja coming into existence wasn't the annoying part for me. It's how it happens completely by accident and just piles on how Goh keeps getting things handed to him on a silver plate, nowadays by pure accident and luck at that. And it wasn't even his Nincada, it was a wild one.

And yes, NWH was amazing, the best character arc possible for Holland's Peter and on par with SM2.

Well it was still a funny gag nonetheless to me, although I can see people's problem with it considering it was wild nincada. But I don't think it's really an example of him getting things handed to him on a silver platter, was just a gag tying in with lore
As for NWH, it's like they listened to all my problems with Spiderman in the MCU and fixed it accordingly lol, as well as showing why Andrew is the best Spiderman

No, the only pokemon that Goh 'caught' was Shedinja, which was used to show off Nincada's evolution mechanic and how it works in the anime, which is nice to have addressed as I don't think it has been shown before.

Except they did it completely wrong. A trainer must have evolved their own Nincada into Ninjask, but apparently just being close to a wild one evolving is enough. However, it also doesn't explain why Goh wasn't filled to the brim with more Shedinja except for just one.
