The Grand Pokemon Tournament
Well, it's so big, it's been largely overlooked. Pokemon have been faced off by type, by usefulness and more. However, this will be the grandest tournament of all. It will face off all 493 Pokemon, to determine the greatest.
However, with a big concept comes limitations, and this has its limitations. After the tournament is over, the game will, essentially, end. It's purpose is fulfilled.
The Rules
The rules here will be the rules of the main face-off board. No spamming, flaming, etc... As well, the current round rules apply. Failure to obey current round rules warrants a warning. Two=tempaban.
My punishments here will be harsh. This tournament is very large and cannot afford to be drawn off by spammers or flamers. Therefore, if a rule is broken once, it will warrant a 1-day ban from voting. Twice, it will be a permanent ban. Exceptions can be made, but only if there is a misunderstanding. Generally, I will not revoke my sentence.
The Management
The game will be run by myself, as the primary owner. I will appoint a secondary owner, who has all of my powers, while remaining subordinate to me (can start the next round, can hand out punishments). There will also be a maximum of two other co-owners, who may tally. If I am not present, the secondary owner becomes owner, and the primary co-owner becomes secondary co-owner, and we have one tallyist.
To become part of management, you may ask, and I may grant you the title, based on your credentials. You may also run through a trial period, and I will evaluate you to see if you become permanent.

The Overview
The game itself will be a grand tournament. It will not be faced off by Region, by type or characteristics initially. I will use a randomizer to set up a draw (bracket, as you non-tennisies call it). Since the number of Pokemon is off, I may group 3 Pokemon together, or even 5.
In a normal matchup, the voting will be: normal voting for Round I, hurt me voting for round II, pillar voting for round III (modified), and hurt me voting onwards. For matchups of 3 Pokemon or 5 Pokemon, it will be Hurt/Heal for round I and pillar style for round II (and onwards, if necessary).
In Pillar voting, and in normal voting, the interval will be Once Per Hour. In Hurt/Heal voting, you may vote at any time, provided you do not double-post.
The Game
From here onwards will be edited periodically, corresponding to what is currently happening in the face-off
Currently, Round I has begun with an unfinished draw. The matchups will be one by one, unless I say otherwise. It's first to ten, once per hour.
Currently:
Raichu v. Tentacool
Enjoy the game! Do not be afraid to vote.
