Hey everyone! Welcome to the Graphic Shore! A.K.A. My gallery of noobish arts.

So, I've had GIMP for 7 or 8 months, but my total time using it is only for like 3 or 4 months (mainly because of homework). And, I guess my GFX works are pretty decent. But, that's not for me to say, rather its for you (members of SPPF) to say and me to find out. Oh, and compared to SPPf's awesome GFXers, my works will most likely look noobish.

Pretty! :D

You seem to do really well when it comes to backgrounds, but the blending of the renders and the backgrounds are a little rough. Also, you do what I do :p That is, the text color and text style don't always match 100% with the banner.

The Poke Vania banner and the Muddy Mudkip banner in your sig are my favorites <3 The background and colors of Poke Vania are awesome. And the Muddy Mudkip one = cuter than a baby teddy bear in a puppy dog's paws. Though I'm not sure the tiny lines over the Mudkip's face add anything.

some of your banners would look better without text. your 'zerochu' and 'sasuke' ones would've looked fine without. or, if you really like adding text, i suggest to maybe try and do text effects to go with the theme of your banner, or a font that fits it. your arcanine banner would've looked good with a font such as cheap fire for example.

Thanks Lil Crickee! I do agree that the Zerochu and Sasuke banners would have been better without text. But, those two were requests at another forum, and they had wanted text.. Typography is definitely something I need to work on.
