Give up your hearts for the cause, and protect these walls from the beasts that lurk beyond!

1) All SPPf rules apply.
2) Be active within the guild.
3) Respect all other members.
4a) The Guild of the Wall uses a modified version of Smogon's OU banlist, located here.
4b) All participants in a guild battle must agree to use the modified banlist, otherwise regular Smogon rules apply.
4c) War battles or battles with other Serebii Forum users must conform to Serebii's standard rules.
5) Respect the leader's decisions. If you disagree with something, please discuss it by PM (not VM).
6) Discussing/offering/requesting hacked Pokémon and cheating devices is strictly forbidden by SPPf and this guild.
7) Minor talk about Attack on Titan is permitted, but you must always put your Attack on Titan discussion in spoilers tags.
8) To apply to the guild, fill out the Guild Application located here (only after reading all of the opening posts).
9) If you fail to earn 50 EXP after being in the guild for one year, you will be permanently removed from the guild.

In the Guild of the Wall, there are a myriad of tasks for you to complete, such as winning battles or trading Pokémon.
Every time you complete a sanctioned task within the guild, it is known as making a mark.
Whenever you make a mark, you will be awarded with experience (EXP) and Wall Points (WP).
EXP is used to rank up, whereas WP are used to buy resources from the Resource Center (located here).

Every new member to the Guild of the Wall starts off in the Trainee Corps.
Once you have accumulated enough EXP, you can choose to join one of three divisions in our military: the Survey Corps, the Garrison, or the Military Police.
Each division has its own perks and specialties, so choose the division that best suits your tastes.
Please note that once you choose a division, you cannot switch out of it, so consider your choice carefully.

Below is the Wall Accord, a document of the utmost importance within the Guild of the Wall.
In this accord, you will find intel on guild members, guild resources, etc.
Please refer to this document for important updates and information regarding the guild.

Once you have earned 50 EXP as a trainee, you may proceed to take an entrance exam.
The entrance exam is a test you must pass in order to join one of the three main divisions: the Survey Corps, the Garrison, or the Military Police.
Each division has its own unique exam, with the criterion for each listed below.
To apply to a division, fill out the Entrance Exam Application located here.

Survey Corps (Battling):

  • The Trainee is to battle the Survey Corps leader in a 6v6 singles battle
  • Smogon rules do apply for this battle; any Pokémon in OU or below is usable
  • The trainee's team must consist of a Staraptor and 5 other Pokémon
  • Trainees will be graded on:
    - their battle finesse
    - their prediction skills
    - their comprehension of the metagame
  • A 6-0 sweep for the trainee will garner bonus marks

Garrison (Breeding):

  • The trainee is to breed a Budew
  • Trainees will be graded on:
    - IVs of the Budew
    - Ability of the Budew
    - Nature of the Budew
    - (egg) moves of the Budew
  • A shiny Budew will garner bonus marks

Military Police (Betterment):

  • The trainee is to trade the MP leader a Rapidash
  • The Rapidash must be EV trained in a way that benefits its moveset, Nature, etc.
  • The Rapidash must be holding an item that benefits its moveset, Nature, etc.
  • Trainees will be graded on:
    - the rarity/quality of the hold item
    - the specifics of the Rapidash's EV placement
    - the level of the Rapidash (level 100 is not required, though the higher the better)
  • A Rapidash with a clever nickname will garner bonus marks

Please keep the following in mind:

  • The final decision of whether or not you are accepted into a division rests solely with that division's leader.
  • If you are not accepted into the division, the division leader will give you constructive feedback on what you can do to improve.
  • You may re-apply to the same division again, at a time specified by the division leader.
  • If you fail to get into a specific division multiple times, you are free to apply to a different division if you so choose.

Welcome to the Survey Corps!
The Wings of Freedom emblazoned on our backs, we venture beyond the walls into the dangerous territory of freedom!
The Survey Corps' primary focus is battling. By battling any and all opponents, Survey Corps members can hone their battle skills and take on stronger and stronger foes.
Survey Corps members have the following unique responsibilities:

  • Survey Corps members are automatically assigned to the guild's war team
  • Survey Corps members can earn EXP/WP by submitting Battle Videos to the guild's Resource Center

When you reach a new rank, you will not rank up automatically.
In addition, you will stop earning EXP (you will still continue to earn WP, however).
In order to rank up properly (and continue earning EXP), you must complete a Rank-Up Challenge.
The Rank-Up Challenge is a small task a guild member must complete at each rank up.
Generally, the task will simply consist of donating a Battle Video to the Resource Center.
The specifics of the Battle Video will be determined by your division leader.

The purpose of the Rank-Up Challenge is twofold...
Not only does it keep members sharp and engaged in guild activities, but it also serves to fill our stock of resources in the Resource Center.

Welcome to the Garrison!
With a spring in our step, and a bit more than courage in our flasks, we patrol the walls and the streets below. Why risk the front lines when the battle can be won from afar?
The Garrison's primary focus is breeding. By breeding top-tier Pokémon, the Garrison can easily prepare brothers in arms for any battles they may face.
Garrison members have the following unique responsibilities:

  • Garrison members are automatically assigned as substitutes to the guild's war team
  • Garrison members can earn EXP/WP by submitting breeding projects to the guild's Resource Center

As the right hand soldiers of the king, it is our job to uphold peace and prosperity within the innermost walls. What we lack in empathy for humans we make up for in care for our Pokémon!

*Note: This feature is open to all Guild Members!

The Spotlight Challenge feature is a task that can prove to be very easy, or very challenging to complete. The challenges will differ between Pokémon, and any Pokémon can be chosen, no matter the tier placed in.

In the event that I am late to post a Spotlight Challenge, I will most likely have the Spotlight Challenge already posted on the PowerPoint. The PowerPoint also will list every Challenge as well as a Challenges Completed tab under the first post to indicate which Challenges you, or someone has already completed and got points for.

Challenge Pokémon: - - -
Challenge Rules:
1. - - -
2. - - -
3. - - -

Rules
  • Spotlight Challenges will be posted every Monday.
  • You'll be given a week to complete the challenge and submit the results here in the guild by post.
  • You'll be awarded 2 WP & 2 EXP for each challenge completed.
  • Challenge Rules will vary from 1 > 3 challenge rules.
  • Battles are allowed to be done in any format you please, unless told otherwise. As well as being done over WiFi or PS.
  • Battles are to be against an Actual Person, whether it be a friend, passerby, battle spot, or PS.
  • In the event your opponent forfeits the match, if you've at least beaten 3 or 4 opposing Pokémon, I'll accept it.
  • Past Spotlight Challenges are acceptable if completed and posted using the same Result Form below; the only difference is you'll only receive 1 WP & 1 EXP for each challenge completed.

Held Item:

Welcome to the Military Police admin page. My name is WhyBuffet, and I am the leader of the MP. I am also the grand overseer of the Guild of the Wall.
If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to PM me here. We also have a guild chat (hosted by Discord) which can be found here.

hRoHapy.png

Please note that this feature is open to all guild members, not just members in the Military Police division.
To check on current or past Pocket Monster Exams, please click here.

The Pocket Monster Exam is a fairly straightforward task, and a rather simple way for guild members to earn EXP and WP.
Whenever you see the Pocket Monster Exam banner posted in the guild, 5 Pokémon-related questions will follow.
Your task is to answer all 5 questions correctly. Guild members who answer one or more questions correctly will earn EXP/WP (and perhaps a few more prizes, too!)

Rules:
  • Pocket Monster Exams will be posted the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.
  • You have the weekend to PM your answers to me (WhyBuffet).
  • Submissions will be accepted until the Sunday at 11:59PM EST.
  • Each correct answer will earn the guild member 2 EXP and 2 WP.
  • Answering all 5 questions correctly will earn the guild member an extra 5 EXP/WP (15 EXP/WP total).
  • Answering all 5 questions correctly may also earn the guild member a mystery Pokémon/item...
  • Sometimes, Attack on Titan bonus questions may appear. These questions are worth 5 EXP/WP each.
  • Failure to answer an Attack on Titan bonus question will not affect a perfect score.
  • If you provide an answer that was not the intended answer, but is still "correct," you will receive a 1 EXP/WP bonus.
  • In addition, if you provide an alternative correct answer, you may submit a new answer for said question once.
  • Please do not share your answers with others! It violates the spirit of the feature.

Pocket Monster Exam - Example:
hRoHapy.png

1. What Pokémon has small electric sacs on both its cheeks?
2. What is the name of the item that transforms Landorus into its Therian Forme?
3. What is TM13?
4. Wobbuffet is classified as what species of Pokémon?
5. What Berry thaws out a frozen Pokémon?

Pocket Monster Exam - Answer Form:
Code:
Pocket Monster Exam - Answers

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

mhgqvpV.png

Please note that this feature is open to all guild members, not just members in the Military Police division.
To check on current or past Poké-Polls, please click here.

The Poké-Poll is yet another feature that is fairly straightforward.
Occasionally, an opinion question will be posted.
You are simply to answer the question in the guild as well as give a small justification for your answer.
After 72 hours the poll will close, and the results will be posted.
Answering a Poké-Poll will earn a guild member 5 EXP / 5 WP.

Poké-Poll - Example Question:
mhgqvpV.png

Sun or Moon?
Which do prefer, and why?

Poké-Poll - Example Answer:
My favourite type has always been the Ghost type, even in Gen I when only 3 Ghosts existed!
When it was announced that Lunala was the Ghost type mascot of Moon, I was instantly sold.

My vote is Moon.
