Basically, ten trainers get their starting pokemon, and spread out on their own journeys, picking a partner to go with. They all meet in Dewford Town. They then begin to see that Teams Aqua and Magma are going to destroy the world. The trainers cannot capture Legendary pokemon, but they can meet or befriend them. Mainly, trainers just hang out, battle, and have fun!
You can't make another trainer say anything, and you can have people that know your person. (Ex. Rydel knows your character, and gives him/her a Mach/Acro bike.) Pokemon can also talk to each other, in italics.
Here's my person:
Name: Nick Birch
Gender: Boy
Age: 15
Starting pokemon: Treecko (Nickname: Blade)
Personality: Nick is usually calm and relaxed, but when he gets angry, he's often blind to simple facts, and stubborn. He is a loyal friend, an spends much time outside. He gets embarrased when people think of him as Professor Birch's kid. He's been ready to start his journey for a while, but never felt ready, until now. He's known his Treecko for about a year, and cares for it greatly. He really wants a good friend. His older brother, Brendan, won the Hoenn League, and is Nick's hero.
Description: Nick is tall, and skinny, with red hair, and grayish-green eyes. He has a headband exactly like Brendan's. He wears a red and black shirt, and black pants.
Goals: Nick wants to win the Hoenn League. He enjoys contests.
So, I'll start the story...

Nick woke up early, and sat up. His father, the most famous professor in all of Hoenn, was snoring loudly. His room was medium sized, with blue paint on the ceiling, and a landscape on the walls. His desk was near his bed, with a Luxury Ball resting on it.
Nick got out of bed, and pressed a button on the ball. A Treecko, came out, and, seeing that he was early, didn't cry out as he usually did. "Hello, Blade," said Nick in a whisper. "Did you sleep well?"
Blade the Treecko nodded, and smiled, indicating that he'd slept happily. He jumped up onto the desk, and then jumped again, on to Nick's shoulder. Nick walked to the door of his room, and walked downstairs, to the refrigerator. He pulled out a carton of Moomoo milk, and poured himself a glass. He grabbed a box of pokeblocks, and tossed one to Blade. Blade jumped up and caught the pokeblock in midair. He then tried to take the box from Nick, but Nick pulled it away.
Nick heard his father come down the stairs, and walk into the room. His father, a heavyset man in his early forties, spoke up. "I see that you're up early again. I've got to do some fieldwork today, and nine trainers are coming, so I'm leaving you in charge of new trainers for a while. Give them five pokeballs, a pokedex, and a pokemon out of the bag there, so would you help me?" Professor Birch said.
"Um, I guess." said Nick. "That's great!" said Professor Birch, "Just wait until I get back. Bye!" Professor Birch walked out the door, not giving Nick a chance to respond.
