Which items do you believe are the Holy Grails of the Pokemon World, in as much as they are costly and are of great value and benefit you a lot. My pick:

Lucky Egg
Light ball
Masterball
Silver and rainbow wing
Clear bell

I'll add more to the list as I think of them.:)

I think the only "Holy Grail" would be the Lucky Egg. People will never stop searching for it. The Master Ball you get no matter what, it's just that you get only one. Same thing goes for the other items you mentioned, save for the Light Ball, which is as hard to find as the Lucky Egg. But if you're desperate like me, you would restart your Crystal five times just to get five Master Balls -_-
I did that just so I would have enough to catch Ho-oh, Lugia, Entei, Raikou, and Suicune in my sixth and final Crysal game.

Poképolls plz.

Lucky Egg certainly, but Sacred Ash and Beserk Gene I would consider something people would debate the existence of or go on huge 'quests' to discover.

Lucky Egg. It's rare, wanted, and unsafe to get. Killer Nidoran! Run away! Run away!

If you have superior battling skills, you can take on the ORRE COLISEUM to help win the chance of getting the Lucky Egg.

If you are lucky enough, win at the pokemon lottery, you may get a masterball.

I've gotton five lucky eggs on my LG. I'd also like to think that shinies are also holy grails. And I don't even know where to get the berserk gene in 3rd gen.

- Master Ball
- Soul Dew

Others are hard to get, but obtainable. The Master Ball and Soul Dew are really rare, and especially the Soul Dew, since you had to have got the Eon Ticket.

[SPOIL]You can't even get it in 3rd gen. That would make Berserk Gene a holy grail.[/SPOIL]
Lucky Eggs and Master Balls are holy grails.

Lucky Eggs are indeed the holy grail in the Pokemon world. Considering it helps you greatly in training your Pokemons, plus it's also quite rare.

Pokerus can also be considered a holy grail to some. Well, it is to me. ^^ I don't know about you, but it helps greatly.

Masterballs shouldn't really be considered holy grails considering that you're garreuntted at least one per playthrough of any game...

Lucky Egg definately... as well as Soul Dew.

certain berries can be considered holy grails as well... especially the Leichi berry, since the only legal way is to get one on Mirage Island...

though not items, pokerus and shinies are extremely valuable...

Prof. Oak's coffee mug is a Pokemon grail. Probably not holy, but whatever.

Suckers, I got two Lucky Eggs and the Pokerus. Ja ja ja. :p

Thick Club >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lightball

Substitute Move Tutors, TM01 (Focus Punch), and TM35(Earthquake) are extremely valued by anyone who trains competitively on their game paks. ;_;

Berserk Gene would probably be the only one I would classify as a grail considering it is highly sought after but nobody will ever get it due to it's non-existence (at least in the current generation of games).

By the way Earthquake is TM26, TM35 is Flamethrower.

Teleport doesn't exist as a TM in the new generation of games, that doesn't mean it would be highly sought after. Since you can get more thn pone Lucky Egg, it probably shouldn't be a Holy Grail. Since the Holy Grail itself is a cup of eternal life (or praying before the remains of christ, whatever you beleive it's translation is), the Sacred Ash, would be the most logical equivulent, since it is mean to revive a fainted (or even dead) pokemon.

i'm gonna have to agree with everyone else in saying the lucky egg. but i really think the master ball is too. its such a nice item to have it stinks that they now only give you one.... if only they still had the glitch to multiply as many of an item as you want like on blue and red.... ahh those were the days.
