Oh, now I see the reasoning behind that. I didn't know it had been such a problem before. I guess I thought it was one of those things that would probably never happen. I also forgot the fact that a lot of kids get on this site, and seeing inappropriate material here would not be good for them at all, nor for the forums once the parents found out.

It's there so we don't have posts filled with them.. I think there wasn't a limit outside the post Character Limit for how many you can have. Now you are limited to 111.

Posting excessive smilies has ALWAYS been against the rules, it is not a recent addiotion.

I have a question...suppose somebody gets the 70-point nonexpiring infraction, but then don't get any more warnings or infractions for a year or two. Would it be possible for that person to ask for the points to be removed since they've stayed out of trouble since they were infracted? Just wondering.

The next level of Infractions will apply once he or she will hit it. So in this case getting more than 4 points in addition to the 70 will result in a 3 month ban.

The answer is no. Non expiring infractions are given for serious offences, and are called non-expiring for a reason.

Just getting one infraction doesn't make you a bad person. As long as you learn from your mistake and don't repeat it, you'll be fine. Everyone screws up once in a while, so don't beat yourself up over it. I have been infracted here as well, but I learned from it and will not be repeating that mistake. So jut keep trying to be good and you'll be great!

Question: say someone has more than 15 points. If they get another infraction, worth say, 1 point, do you get banned because you're above 15? Or does it only go to the next one up?

this has already been addressed before. no, that's not how it works. the infraction ban levels are when you are below that level and then get enough points to reach that level or higher. so, in your example, if you had 15 and got an infraction to go to 16 or higher, you wouldn't be banned unless it was enough to bring you to 30. but if you waited awhile and some points expired and you went down to 12 active points, then got another infraction to bring you up to 15, you would be banned for a week again.

-inappropriate posting
5 points, 90 days, warning/extend on

-explicit posting
20 points, 90 days, warning/extend on



these are very similar but one is more severe than the other obviously. inappropriate would be something like a sexual joke where it is not appropriate, wherase explicit would be something like full-on text porn. if you get explicit posting (or even pornography), do not argue that yo should have gotten inappropriate, we will investigate before drawing the line and it will not be moved.


keep in mind these are not new rules, we just have new infractions so punishment is more uniform

Okay, so I thought I had read somewhere that if you make a certain number of alts (I think it was 4 or something, if my memory serves me correctly), you get permanently banned, but I can't seem to find anything about that at the moment. Is that the case, or am I just confused with some other site or something?

No that's not a thing , it's done on a case by case basis.

I tried to contact the staff while I was banned, so here's my story:

When I tried to, it just said i had to log in afterwords which confused me, is there a way i can view it too, or only staff?

this isn't the right place for that, but no, there isn't a way. that's the point of staff contact. you can only view threads you have made but if you are a guest you can't view anything since the system doesn't have a way to let you see your own posts when you are not logged in.

Well the first post says that if you get an infraction point, you'll get a PM. If you haven't gotten a PM telling you that you have an infraction point, you probably don't have one.
