As the bright sun began to rise over new bark town, the pidgey were chirping in the trees it was a quiet little town and in equally quiet street in a medium sized red house, In a room that looked more like a pokemon toy shop than a bedroom a fourteen year old boy was sleeping through his alarm as it played the different calls of pokemon.
“ Michael wake up” Michael’s mother shook the young boy gently and he began to wake up and with a yelp he fell out of his bed hitting the alarm clock on his way down.
“Morning mum.” Michael yawned while scratching his head.
“You do know what day it is don’t you?” his mother asked him.
“No what is it?” Michael asked still half asleep.
“Today is the day you start your Pokemon Journey…… Unless you want to stay in bed and have to wait another year to begin” his mother replied.
“WHAT THAT’S TODAY? WHY DID YOU LET ME SLEEP IN SO LATE!!!” Michael shouted as he began to get all his things that he would need for his journey together.
“I’ll go and make you some breakfast is toast ok?” Michael’s mum asked him.
“Umm yea that’ll do me fine” he replied.
Just as Michael’s mother reached the bottom of the stares the doorbell rang, she opened the door and two people were stood there one of them was a girl aged thirteen dressed in a pair of blue and white trainers, a pair of blue jeans with red skater belt, a blue t-shirt was atop a white long sleeve shirt, she wore a gold chain with a small emerald set in a pikachu shaped pendent, her eyes were hazel brown and her hair was strawberry blond and was in a ponytail. The other was a boy aged fourteen dressed in red and white trainers, a pair of light blue jogging trousers, a red and black long-sleeved t-shirt and a gold chain with a small ruby in side a ho-oh shaped pendent, his hair was brown it was also spiked up and held up with a white headband with a pokeball logo on it.
“Hi is Michael in?” asked the girl.
“Yes he is upstairs hold on I will call him for you come on in for a bit” Michael’s mum replied with a smile she never could remember Michael’s friends names.
“Michael are you ready? Your friends are here” Michael’s mum called up to him then she asked Michael’s friends if they were hungry.
“No that’s ok im not hungry but thanks for the offer im not sure about my brother though” said the girl, and as if hearing the sound of food mentioned the boys stomach growled, the girl sweatdropped and looked at her brother.
“Sorry I guess I am kinda hungry” the boy said slightly embarrassed.
Michael came down the stairs five minuets later dressed in red and black trainers, black jeans, a black and gold long-sleeved t-shirt and a gold chain with a sapphire in the center of a pokeball pendent, his jet black hair was covered by a red and black hat with a green pokeball logo in the middle, as Michael cam down the stairs he noticed three people sat at the table eating, he noticed who the two people were as he sat down next to the girl who blushed as he sat.
“Hi Jaden Hi Rena have you two been waiting for me long?” Michael asked helping himself to a piece of toast.
“No not long about five or six minuets” Rena replied while also going for a bit of toast.
“Are you three looking forward to your pokemon adventures?” asked Michael’s mum
“You bet we are” Michael, Rena and Jaden replied in unison.
Ten minuets later the three new trainers were walking down to Professor Elm’s lab. Michael and Jaden were talking about pokemon and the journey that they were about to begin, Rena on the other hand was walking behind Michael and Jaden daydreaming she didn’t realise she had fallen behind quite a bit, Michael looked behind him a Rena to see if she was ok and called for her to catch up. Upon hearing Michael’s call she was snapped out of her daydream, blushed and caught up with her brother and Michael. The three trainers entered the lab and sat down to wait for the professor, they only had to wait five minuets before the professor walked in followed be a boy dressed in white trainers, a white pair of jeans, a white long-sleeved t-shirt beneath a red short-sleeved t-shirt and his hair was white with a blue headband sat on his forehead.
As he saw Michael, Jaden and Rena he asked them if they were there to watch him take the strongest of the three starters and defeat the elite four.
“SOME ONE LIKE YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ALOUD TO BE A POKEMON TRAINER!!” Rena shouted at him.
Michael and Jaden knew all to well that Rena had a short temper and they both knew that only Michael was the only one who was able to calm her down for some reason but before Michael made his move to calm Rena down the professor spoke.
“ok now that’s enough fighting and do not worry there is enough starter pokemon for all four of you” said a calm professor.
“what do you mean?” Jaden asked.
“ I mean that I knew that four trainers would be starting today so I had another pokemon sent over for the fourth trainer and I have mixed up the pokeballs so that even I do not know what pokemon is in what ball” the professor replied.
Professor elm then went in to the back room of the lab and when he came back he was holding four pokeballs in his left hand and four different colour Pokedex in the other.
“now I will call you up in no particular order and give you a pokeball and a Pokedex” the professor said
“Rena will you come up first and don’t open the pokeballs until I say”
Rena slowly stood up and walked up to the table and the professor gave her a red and white ball and a green Pokedex.
“ok now will Alex come and get his pokeball and Pokedex” Elm said
Alex walked up and got a pokeball and a white Pokedex
Then went Jaden to get a pokeball and a red Pokedex and finaly Michael went up.
“Michael this is the pokemon I had sent over as the fourth pokemon” Elm whispered to Michael
He then handed him a pokeball and a blue Pokedex.
“Its ok to open the pokeballs now” the professor said as Michael sat down
Alex pressed the release button on the ball and a white light shot out of the ball and began to take form on the floor, when the bright light dimmed it left a sort of blue crocodile standing on its hind legs it had a red v shape on its chest and red spines going down the back of its body, Alex opened up his Pokedex and it read the data on the creature before them.
TOTODILE THE BIG JAW POKEMON
ITS WELL DEVELOPED JAWS ARE CAPABLE OF CRUSHING ANYTHING EVEN ITS TRAINER SO USE CAUTION WHEN TRAINING THIS POKEMON.
As the Pokedex finished the data on Totodile it began dancing around the room then went to stand by Alex and fell silent.
Jaden then opened his pokeball and as the light began to fade it left a blue and black mouse on the floor ti had six red dots on its back, Jaden looked up the pokemon’s data in his Pokedex.
CYNADQUIL THE FIRE MOUSE POKEMON
IT IS A TIMID POKEMON AND IF FRIGHTENED IT WILL CURL ITSELF INTO A BALL. IF IT IS ATTACKED THE RED DOTS ON ITS BACK WILL ERUPT IN FLAME FOR PROTECTION.
As the Pokedex ended the data reading Cyndaquil walked over to Jaden and rubbed against his leg and fell asleep.
Next Rena opened her ball and the light faded away to reveal a small green dog type creature with a big leaf coming out of its head, it had about ten small bulbs that looked like a necklace on its neck.
CHIKORITA THE LEAF POKEMON
A SWEET AROMA GENTLY WAFTS FROM THE LEAF ON ITS HEAD. IT IS DOCILE AND LOVES TO SOAK UP THE SUNS RAYS.
Rena jumped as she didn’t realise that she had opened her Pokedex she then picked up the Chikorita and held it in her arms.
Michael then opened his pokeball and the light faded to show a small fox.
Michael opened his Pokedex and listened to the data.
EEVEE THE EVOLUTION POKEMON.
ITS GENETIC CODE IS IRREGULAR. IT MAY MUTATE IF EXPOSED TO THE RADIATION FROM AN ELEMENTAL STONES.
Michael looked at the Eevee and smiled, the Eevee walked up to Michael and hopped on to his shoulder.
The three new trainers looked at their pokemon and smiled to each other Alex on the other hand was inspecting his Totodile. The professor came back in to the room and he had with his four bags (one red, one blue, one green and the last one was white) he gave the new trainers a bag each and walked them to route twenty-nine and told them to head to cherrygrove city and from there up route thirty to violet city.
“well I will see you three losers later” Alex Shouted as he ran down route twenty-nine.
As the sun set on Michael ,Rena and Jaden the three friends walked down route twenty-nine Rena and Jaden were talking to each other, Michael was wondering why he was given Eevee instead of a normal starter. As the three friends walked down the road the sun set on their first day as trainers.
