I like Water Pokemon so I liked this episode. It's good that she helped Gyarados even though she's scared of it.

I also liked this epy. Since water types are a favorite of mine, I was happii to see them appear and Kasumi to get so excited. I almost thought this would be an episode where we'd see Kasumi do something exciting in Jouto, but it really wasn't >.<;

Ah well XD It was still a good episode. I felt a little bad for Joi-san. She wasn't the one who got to decide if she was the Pokemon Center's Joi and Kasumi got so mad at her. But at least things turned out well in the end.

I didn't really like the Nurse Joy in this episode very much. I'm glad that she's able to put aside her feelings about water pokemon enough to still treat them, but it didn't make her a very likeable character for me. I may not be a Misty fan, but I do feel sorry for her in this episode when she's disappointed that the Nurse Joy she's always wanted to meet isn't what she expected.

On the positive side, I did like Team Rocket's unusual motto, Misty's reaction to the gyarados in the lake (how ironic in retrospect), and Team Rocket getting pulled into battle by the tentacruel. LOL

I have returned.....
I don't know why Nurse Joy got attacked by a group of Remoraid when she was a little girl. And she's the only Nurse Joy scared of water type Pokemon. Anyway this episode looks good because I sometimes have a thing for water Pokemon like Misty!

A good episode it was a little sad that Misty finally met a childhood idol of hers only to find out she hates Water Pokemon. I liked Nurse Joy in this episode they made it so she's not you stereotypical Nurse Joy, that you alway see in most other episodes, Misty however came of as a hypocrite in this episode lecturing Joy on having to love Water to properly care for them and yet Misty hates most Bug Pokemon.

a nurse joy that's specialised in waterpokemon that is afraid for them, kinda ironic if you ask me, still it was a fun episode to watch i'm not complaining.

I was never in any doubt that Nurse Joy would overcome her fear.

She wouldn't have a Pokemon Nurse if she couldn't handle them.

I like water pokemon! But I don't like fish:(
Ones I was a little kid my dad had a fishtank. I looked at the fishes and one of thems vibrating! >.< I was in fear! :(

I did not like this Nurse Joy. If you don't like a certain pokemon than you're obviously not cut out for being a nurse. Plus, she didn't get over her fear of water-types!

The Nurse Joy in this episode bothered me. I can understand if she didn't like any other type of pokemon besides water pokemon. I felt bad for Misty. She had the dream to get her pokemon examined by the Lake Lucid Nurse Joy only to be dissapointed by her fear of water pokemon. It just seems very odd to me that this happened because some Remoraid surrounded and splashed her. She knew she was going to be a nurse someday, so she should have gottten over her fear. I noticed earlier in this episode that when two Seels are practice fighting, Ash refers to them as Dewgong.

What to say about this one:
It had good story, nice and unexpected concept(nurse Joy taking care of water types despite fearing them),and entertaining character interaction providing some development.
It was sad seeing Misty so sad, with desire of her favorite type being examined being almost crushed when she finded out how nurse Joy is fearing them. Its understandable how she must have felt going through whole rather scary incident with Remoraid but still her behaviour wasnt completely justified and i can understand Mistys anger and frustration toward her.
It was also nice seeing how she managed to help Joy to go step forward toward overcoming her fear in end having more tolerance toward them.

Hmm, good filler.

Nurse Joy was so afraid from all the water pokemon, i wonder why....

And i loved to see her in the end become friend of Gyarados.

7/10
