The Kingdoms at war (Pg - PG-13) Rating may go up

Black Murder Heavangelon

Ow! Ow! Harder! Ow!
This idea has been itching on my head for a while now. This story is very fictitious, so flames aren't so welcome. Pokemon will be given different names here, so at the end of each chapter, I'll tell you what pokemon they are. for now, enjoy.

Chapter 1: The Kingdoms

Before humans had set foot upon the pokemon age, the pokemon had lived in separate colonies, each one a kingdom of its own. Each kingdom was named after the power they held: the kingdom of air, Atmos, the kingdom of poison, Phosous, the kingdom of lightning, Voltnanous, and so forth. The structures of various kingdoms had recovered from the previous war between three kingdoms: the kingdom of Pyros, fire, the kingdom of Hydros, water, and the kingdom of forest, Chloros.

The three kingdoms began to restore peace after the birth of prince Trepmaws, the heir to the Hydros and Lithos, ground, throne. After so, the Lithos kingdom had aided the Hydros in protecting the Hydros kingdom. When the Lodicolus tribe came to the Chloros kingdom, they announced to Litpess that they can aid the Chloros kingdom. What they didn’t know was that the Chloros kingdom was at war with the Hydros kingdom. With this discovered, the Lodicolus tribe refused to fight because the Lodicolus tribe also had the blood of the Hydros. Litpess was astonished by the Lodicolus for the fact that they were living proof that unity can be achieved between the three kingdoms…

Litpess declared a truce to the Hydros kingdom after the Lodicolus had delivered there message. With both kingdoms united, along with the aid of the Lithos kingdom, the Pyros kingdom eventually gave up. Nekizabel, prince of the Pyros kingdom, gave his crown to a worthy, more dominant, prince, prince Carizar. Without his crown, Nekizabel was just an ordinary pokemon. However, hope found his way…

Nekizabel is now the prince of the Physia, fighting, kingdom, who had just recently lost their prince in a deadly scuffle between the Ispy, psychic, kingdom. The Ispy kingdom was also at war with the Ynobe, dark, kingdom that was at war with the Physia kingdom as well. The three kingdoms, and another war, a three way war…

Another war was due to occur, a war Nekizabel didn’t want to be a part of. Now that he holds the title as the prince of Pyros, he has to engage in this war. This time, however, there is no such pokemon in the world who could resemble the truce between two kingdoms. It seemed as if the three kingdoms were destined to keep fighting each other until all three are reduced to rubble…

“Nurse Lani! Nurse Lani!” she yelled.

She ran through the halls in search of the blond maiden. The nurse known as Nurse Lani was supposed to be in the egg center were all the eggs born outside the kingdom laid. Each and every egg that had hatched was always psychic types. It was like they were meant to be born here. One turn after another, she kept running until she would find Nurse Lani. Because an egg that was declared dead was beginning to hatch…

She was a young psychic type no older than 9. She had green hair-like skin on her head with two red locks holding like ribbons on a schoolgirl’s hair. She had red eyes and milk white skin on her torso. Her torso held arms that were thin and fingerless and the lower half of the body was split down at the waist acting like a skirt. Below the ‘skirt’ was green and legs that were also as thin as the arms. The young pokemon was wearing a beautiful dress with blue and white patterns and was wearing a pink crown, beautifully detailed to the square inch.

She continued to scream the nurse’s name until she came across a huge room with beautiful tiles, wall, and ceiling artwork and was missing a wall to feature a wide garden followed by a forest. Near the missing wall was a table where the nurse was having a conversation with her friend, known as Grumus.

Grumus had a purple exterior with some black features on her skin. Her ears were pointed and her head had two black pearls, one small and one bigger, while another was on her navel. She had a pig like snout and a springy tail. Her wrists had a beautiful band on it detailed exquisitely though not as much as the princess’ crown.

Nurse Lani had blonde hair, pink kissing lips and a purple face that held beady pupils within her eyes. She seemed to be wearing a red dress that looked like it was meant to feature the size of the chests current activity. She also wore the same designed band on her wrist like it detailed her identity.

“Nurse Lani!” she said as she ran over to hug the nurse.

“Princess Kilria, what are you doing out of the nursery room?” she asked as Grumus pondered of the situation.

“Nurse Lani, I was in the nursery room, and I was holding the gray looking egg and-”

“You held the gray egg?”

“Yes. And when I put it back, it broke! It was like it was in pain because it started shaking back and forth! I came to you because it made noises and-”

Nurse Lani suddenly got up and ran from the room to the nursery as Princess Kilria watched in confusion. Grumus had gotten up and ran in Lani’s direction. The commotion had encouraged the young princess to follow. When she entered the pink, birth-giving room, the nurse was looking around the field of eggs, some new and some due. She spotted a blue bundle cuddled up and shivering from cold. She walked over to the blue youngling as the princess walked over to see.

“Where’s the gray egg?” she asked.

“This was the gray egg,” the nurse said.

The newborn was blue around the arms, legs and torso. Its head was tipped with small orbs on each side. It was colored white on the feet, wrists, and below the waist. It was small and was actually bluer because of the sheering cold it was feeling for the past minutes. Its skin design ensured that this newborn wasn’t all psychic.

“My lord, the dead egg hatched!” Nurse Lani exclaimed.

‘Dead?’ Princess Kilria thought.

“The egg wasn’t supposed to hatch at all. It must be a miracle!” Grumus pointed out.

“Poor baby, it’s shivering from the cold before it hatched. We had left it out so long and unprotected it’s freezing!” Nurse Lani said.

“So what is it?” Princess Kilria asked.

“Well, it’s obviously a psychic type,” Nurse Lani said, “it should be a-”

“Wait, I sense something from that child,” Grumus said, “I can sense the blood of the Ispy in it, but I also detect hints of other bloods…”

“Other blood? You mean this young one is half psychic?”

“I can feel a strong blood in it,” she said as she closed her eyes, “Yet it’s psychic powers are equally high. I sense the blood of the Physia in it.”

“It’s half psychic and half fighting? What an odd combination…”

“Will this mean that the war between Ispy and Physia will be over soon?”

Princess Kilria had known about the war since she was born. The war was actually a total waste of time if you asked her. The thought of fighting just for the title of dominancy was insane. It was clear that not a single type can prove dominant over another. And once that is realized, the kingdoms will keep fighting one another until all is lost… If this child could prove to be the link between two of the kingdoms, then maybe…

“Absolutely not!” Nurse Lani exclaimed, “None of the other kingdoms know of this yet, and since it is half fighting, we will have the upper hand on all of the kingdoms. First. The Physia kingdom will fall then the Ynobe and soon, the war will be ours!”

“Do you think it’s a good idea? I mean, shouldn’t we tell the king?”

“Of course we should! It’s not like this plan will work in mere seconds. Once the king learns of this new breed, our kingdom will prevail among all others.”

“Maybe so, it might even work.”

“Come, we must inform the king.”

She heard every word. Their conversation was loosely based on the victory of the kingdom. The war wasn’t going to stop and will not stop soon enough. But what can she do to stop it? At times like this, she thought, it’s better to do nothing at all… But something had to be done and quick. She swore to the world and it’s moon that the war would cease before time will have a chance to count. Even if it meant relying on the outside and forbidden sources…

The Great Butler

Hush, keep it down
You've got quite an interesting concept going. It seems Kirlia is the 'princess' Pokémon of choice for many, and I can't say I disagree one bit.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this, on that I'm sure.

Here's the next chapter. See what has to be done about the newborn. And look who just found out about it!

Chapter 2.

When all hope had seemed lost, an unexpected surprise had occurred. A half Physia was born in the Ispy kingdom. Born with the powers of the Physia kingdom, the newborn’s true physical potential was supposed to be unlocked within the Physia kingdom. However, the Ispy kingdom had other plans.

Since the newborn was found to be a half Physia, it was announced that the newborn was to be raised like an Ispy, and must not know of it’s Physia blood. For if it is revealed that the newborn was half Physia, the newborn would want to resent its Ispy blood. For that if it learns of its blood, it may give the Ispy secrets to our enemies as payback. Therefore, the newborn will never learn of its Physia blood. Never…

“You’re gonna have to run faster than that!” she said.

“Can’t you see I’m trying to keep up?” he shot back.

It was a beautiful day in the kingdom of Ispy. Unlike the other two kingdoms, especially Ynobe, Ispy had the best weather conditions among all other kingdoms. The weather would never change; it was never too hot, too cold, too windy, and too cloudy. The only time the weather would change is when the Castratoses tribe flew by the kingdom. Other than that, the weather was normal. Today, Princess Kilria, and her childhood friend, also known as the newborn link, Meditei, was at the public park were all young Ispy residents go to play.

Meditei isn’t exactly social with the other psychic types. Everyone except for him knew he was half Physia, so no one could feel right treating him like a normal Ispy. Meditei never asked to be friends with anyone; however, a little sympathy wouldn’t hurt. Meditei is always used to being alone, but if you came up to him and asked if he wanted to play a game, he’d say yes before you would announce the game in mind. Meditei has no problems being alone, because Princess Kilria is the only Ispy to ever understand Meditei truly. Meditei sometimes feels that Princess Kilria is expecting something from him, something astounding.

Being friends with the heir to the Ispy throne granted Meditei the liberty of living like a royal. But for the fact that he had better treatment than any of the Ispy children could ever receive from their parents, the seed of jealousy was planted. The kids wouldn’t be able to stand watching Meditei eat better and high priced ice cream than the usual one-dollar cone, or have lunch on top of the balcony of the best restaurant in town where everyone could see him. Even though King Nekizabel said that Meditei was their trump card to defeating the Ynobe kingdom, the kids sometimes wished he were gone…

“Are you giving up already?” she said as she watched Meditei pant for breath.

“No fair, I’m (pant) shorter than you. Of course you can run (pant) faster than me,” Meditei pointed out.

“I’m just older than you, that’s all.”

“I still don’t understand how you can run faster than me with that dress on!”

Princess Kilria walked closer to Meditei in thought of switching to a new game.

“How’s about we play mind bend?” she suggested.

“No, I’d rather,” suddenly, Meditei dashed forward trying to tag her, “play tag!”

Princess Kilria, however, knew he was going to do so, so she backed up immediately making Meditei fall flat on his face. Meditei groped his face in response to the pain.

“Ow! No fair! You read my mind!” he complained.

She chuckled and ran the opposite direction.

“Suit yourself!” she said from a distance.

Meditei growled as he got up and tried going after her. This time, he was now focused on running faster than catching her. He enhanced his mind onto his body, something he didn’t know how to do. He felt faster and stronger now; he felt like he should stay focused if he ever wanted to win.

Meditei began to run faster as well. He was closing in on Princess Kilria yet made not even the faintest noise because he was very light and small, so she didn’t feel him behind her. Meditei decide to sneak up on her very elusively. It would be a new trick, but he’d try anything. He read her next moves very closely and saw that she was going to look back and see him, so he took quick action. He moved in on the wall and ran on it. He had never done this before and it felt very valiant. In a split second, he saw Princess Kilria looking back. He noticed she looked very confused, so he knew she would look back in front. Reacting quickly, he sped up in front of her, landed on the ground, and braced himself. She looked back at front with a face of confusion but didn’t expect that he was already in front of her.

“Gotcha!”

“AHH!”

They collided. The two tumbled to the ground for a while if it weren’t for the fact that they collided at the top of a downhill road. After moments of tumbling, the two finally stopped on grassy turf. After a fall like that, you’d expect the two to be in an awkward position. And they were. Meditei opened his eyes to see that he was on top of Princess Kilria while she was looking back.

“…”

“…AHH! Get off o’ me!”

She kicked Meditei off of her and to the ground, but Meditei landed on his hand and knee. Princess Kilria felt very embarrassed and blushed. Not because she liked Meditei, but more or so because she had never been that literally close to any boy before. And she was 13, and he was way younger than her! 9 years younger than her! But she heard that his species grew faster than normal psychic types; about 3.5 faster. So that would make him….14. So he’s 4 years old but really 14…she did the math alright.

(A/N: It’s really basic math. Meditei is 4 years old and Kilria was 9 when he was born. 4 x 3.5 = 14. Remember, some pokemon level up faster than other pokemon. This is a guess, really.)

Princess Kilria felt like she had to clear something up to Meditei. Somehow, she felt that Meditei liked her more than a friend, because of all the competition he wanted with her. Sure, she believed that Meditei would be the key to ending their war, but she wanted to feel that that was all she should see in him. To prevent future connections of any sort, she tried talking it out.

“Look Meditei, I know you and I are friends, but if we’re gonna stay friends, we have to be nothing more than-”

“Whoa…” Meditei said.

“Hey! Aren’t you listening?! I said-”

She then saw what Meditei was looking at. He was staring out into a large set of trees that seemed to be enveloping great darkness. Even though the sun was setting, a lot of darkness could be seen through the trees. It obviously meant trespassing would mean danger.

“…”

“That is the Forest of Black Crossing,” Kilria said, “entering it would mean trespassing into Ynobe territory.”

“Ynobe?” Meditei questioned.

“Ynobe is the kingdom of Darkness, home to the dark pokemon.”

“So, beyond here is pokemon I’ve never seen?”

“Yes and a lot more impolite. You wouldn’t wanna get caught walking around in there if you’re not an Ynobe blood.”

The two stared into the forest for a while, entranced by it’s mystically black gape. When the sound of the Natune tribe sang, it meant that nightfall was coming, which alerted the two and snapped them out of their trance.

“It’s almost night. Meditei, we’d better get back to the palace,” Princess Kilria spoke.

“Uh, okay.”

The two walked away from the forest entrance. Princess Kilria was afraid of the dark, but she was thankful that night was setting. She didn’t want to end up telling Meditei about the war. She knew he might be a way to stop the war, but he mustn’t know of it now. She had to wait until he was strong enough to fight. But since his real strength relies in the Physia tribe, it may seem hopeless. He must learn all of his fighting skills from the Physia tribe, and contact with them is forbidden. How could he be the answer without their question?

“Did you see that?” he said.

He stood perched on the branch as he watched the two Ispy bloods walk away.

“It seems that the blue one knows how to fight like a Physia.”

“Do you believe that that young one is an Ispy with the knowledge of a Physia?”

“Murkonis, that would mean trouble to the Ynobe kingdom, would it?”

“Yes Murkonus, if the Ispy kingdom has that kind of access, then both kingdoms may be in danger of losing to the Ispy kingdom!”

“We can’t win against that Ispy, we’ll be slaughtered!”

“We must inform the king immediately!”

“You two!” a voice from below said.

The two looked below to see a dog-like dark type with yellow rings on its body, red eyes and two pointed ears. His ears and tail had a yellow ring each while his eyes shined brightly in the darkness along with the glowing of his rings.

“Have you found anything of worth from the Ispy kingdom? It better not be false data this time.”

The two birds were witch-like flying types with a flat hat-like appendage on their heads with spikes going upwards resembling a witch hat. They had bright yellow beaks while they also had red eyes, but the rest of the eyes were white. Both were black with a broom-like tail. In the shadow of the moonlight, both could be mistaken for a witch easily.

“Y-Yes, we have, Admin Umbrason!”

“And they don’t sound good!”

“What could we possibly fear from the Ispy kingdom?” Umbrason exclaimed.

“A Physia!”

“A Physia?” Umbrason asked.

“Born within the Ispy kingdom!”

“If this Ispy learns to fight like a Physia, our kingdom will fall!” Murkonus exclaimed.

“What do you mean? There’s only one of them in there, right?” Umbrason asked.

“But if this one managed to be born with the kingdom…”

“…then more of them could rise from with!” Murkonis finished.

“Then…there’s no time to lose! We must inform the king!”

Umbrason ran back to the dark kingdom of Ynobe while the two birds flew with. Something must be done before the Ispy learns of anything from the Physia kingdom. Attacking now would be there best bet, but all orders must be awaited from the king, any disorder will be paid with a life! This is one of the greatest problems to hit the three-way war, maybe Ynobe will need help from a long time partner kingdom, the kingdom of Phantos…
