I'd like to join the Korn Club, please. Korn's lost popularity with me as of late, but I still love listening to their music.

Sure you can join.I'll add you in the members list. The club hasn't been getting attention. If its not too much could you add a link to the club in your sig?

Count me in. I usually don't join clubs, but music is a enteruly different matter.

They aren't my favorites though, but they are definetely on my top 3. I just have to buy the self-titled to have all the 8 albums (Sacrilege! :O!). I don't like the early, although I do understand that those songs were more packed with Jonathan's rage than now. Instead, I like listening Korn for its melodies, JD's talent and so.

One thing, Do I really have to post here continously? My schedule is pretty tight, you know? Hence my user title.

Sika, welcome to the club. No, you dont have to post here continuously but how about once in two days?Is that fine?

Yeah ,but some of the previous songs were great like Did My Time,Right Now ,Y'all Want A Single and Blind.

You can also be Co - Owner if you want.

What does a co-owner exactly do? This the first club I've joined in Sppf...

As for the songs that I enjoy:

Self Titled - No more that 3 listens, but I like Blind and Clown. I really need to (pun intended) listen this more.

Life is Peachy - A.D.I.D.A.S (Great tune), Wicked, No Place To Hide

Follow the Leader - Freak on a Leash, Got the Life (these 2 are a given), B.B.K. (I regret researching for its meaning), Pretty, Reclaim my Place, Justin, Seed. In few words, more than half the album is excellent, and the rest it's just wrong...

Issues - All the songs longer than 2 minutes. Nuff' said. If you make a playlist with of FtL and Issues you get a legendary album. Try it ;).

Untouchables - Here To Stay, Thoughtless and Alone I Break are given, but I really like Blame, Hating and No One's There as my favorites here. It's a beautiful album (beautiful as far Korn can be described :p).

Take a Look In the Mirror - For the singles I prefer I Did My Time. My favorite track is Counting on Me. Pretty balanced album, there aren't any bad songs here.

See You On the Other Side - The block starting in Love Song and ending in Tearjerker. I ddon't know why my preferences in this album are contrary as those of the majority of the Korn's fans I've seen in their message board. I don't like Hypocrites all that much :/.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention Eaten Up Inside, Last Legal Drug and Appears as great B-Sides of this album. Shame that most of Korn's B-Sides are remixes.

A co - owner manages the club along with the owner and even in his absence.
so you want to be one?

Looks like your really into their music.I just don't have Life Is Peachy,Korn and Follow The Leader.

If it doesn't mess with your sig could you place a link to the club in your sig.

Yeah, I think I'll be joining this. I love Korn, from the early stuff to the latest stuff and everything in between. There's just an insane amount of talent in that band.

Favorite album: Untouchables. Hands down. Rich, powerful, and even downright gorgeous soundscapes on that one.

Favorite song: "Hollow Life" - Oh, my God. That song just blew me away the first time I heard it, and years later, it still hasn't lost its impact.

Favorite tracks by record:

Korn: "Need To"

Life Is Peachy: "Good God"

Follow the Leader: "My Gift to You"

Issues: "Dirty"

Untouchables: "Hollow Life"

Take a Look in the Mirror: "I'm Done"

See You on the Other Side: Tie between "Coming Undone" and "Open Up"

Yay! New member!

Yes, Coming Undone gave me a great first impression on my first SYOTOS listen, but Open Up is definitely a grower.

By the way, A friend of mine says that Coming Undone video is horrible, while my (female) cousin told me that it's a great video. What it's your opinion?

I just watched it once, and in AOL. I couldn't judge anything from that...

I'm afraid I can't pass any verdict on "Coming Undone". Still haven't seen it, and I don't know when I will. My computer is such a frelling dinosaur that it usually can't handle video clips... ><;;;

*shrugs* Whatever's in the video, I'd likely be disinclined to dismiss it so long as masters Davis and Arvizu are looking nice as always in it. ^^[/flakiness]

I'd kinda like to know what everyone's favorite videos are. Mine are:

"Freak on a Leash" - Groundbreaking stuff, that video was.

"Twisted Transistor" - I just adore this one. Very entertaining. XD

"Falling Away from Me" - I love the vibrant colors in this one, all the red light. Very well done.

And my absolute favorite: "Here to Stay" - Absolutely. ****ing. Amazing. Every second was filled with powerful, compelling imagery, and the visual dynamic synched up with that of the music flawlessly.

Welcome Sike Saner.Follow the rules and have fun.

Coming Undone's video is practically pretty average.

Yeah those videos are pretty good.Twisted Transistor's video won a award.

Here To Stay is a total kick-a** song.it rocks.(get the pun)

anyway, would you also like to be a co - owner?

And please rate the thread good.

Sike Saner

Peace to the Mountain
Thought I already did rate it... o.o Oh, well. ^^ *goes to rectify that mistake* There you go. ^^

And thanks for making me co-owner, btw! ^^

"Here to Stay" is definitely one of their very best songs IMO. I also really like the remix version that appeared at the end of Untouchables when that record was first released, even if it s very different from the original. Hell, maybe even because it's so different. I do still prefer the original version of "Here to Stay", though, definitely; it's just too good. It's just got such a presence about it, it's just massive sounding.

A lot of my favorite Korn songs are the "massive" ones: ones like "No One's There", "Falling Away from Me", and the absolutely incredible "My Gift to You" - omg. The pipes at the beginning of that song are just mind-blowing. ^^ My all-time favorite, "Hollow Life", kind of falls into the "massive" category, too. I love the way its soft, elegant verses transition into these huge, sweeping, cathedral-worthy choruses...Wow. ^^

I was actually going to make this if no one else did. XD SIGN ME UP! I love Korn a lot but, some of the new stuff isn't as good....

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here remembers when they had that cover-designing contest back when Issues came out, and if anyone here actually entered that. I did - and Lord, did my entry suck. XDDDD I don't remember much about it except that it had a lot of black, red, and green, and a bunch of eyes all over it. It was fugly. XPPPPPPP

May I join this club?

Korn was one of the two reasons why I got back into rock several years ago

I do not own many of their C.D's, I only own Follow The Leader, Issues, and Take a Look In The Mirror

Issues is my favorate C.D, untill I hear all their other work, but also the hidden track in 'Take a Look In The Mirror' is one of my favorate covers they've done (They covered 'One' by Metalica, my favorate song by Matelica as well) although I wish they had done the full song

Sike Saner

Peace to the Mountain
Oh, man...Yes, their cover of "One" was excellent. I remember when they did that on the Icons special - mmm. Very nice. I also wish they'd gone all out and done the full 7+ minutes of the song, but I think they were kind of under time restraints for the Icons special, which if I'm not mistaken is where the recording that appears on Take a Look in the Mirror was taken from. But anyway, yeah, it's a great cover of what was a great song to begin with. Korn's version has a great sort of slinky, slithering quality to it that I immediately liked. ^^

My favorite is Jonathan. The voice...the style...the PIPES! Very awesome. A very close second would be Fieldy. He's one of my all-time favorite bassists - I'm in awe of him. ^^

You took the wors right out of my mouth, both of those members are also my favorates, John's voices is just unique and I like the erieness of it

Fieldy is a great bassist (And I play bass in my band as well) I like how it sounds how he plays with loose strings (or maybe that they are loose strings)
