I want to see The Conjuring. I heard one guy had to be picked up by the paramedics. I'm going to bring a bunch of friends and we all are going to be escorted out on stretchers XD

AfterEarth, I felt disappointed as I liked the concept of movie but it didn't live up to that at all. Hopefully one day there will be Sci-fi movies that don't lie on aliens for base plots.

I saw Monsters University in theaters a few weeks ago. I thought it was absolutely fantastic, every one of you should go see it. I'm going to be seeing Wolverine this coming Friday, and a ton of my friends have been raving about Pacific Rim, so I suppose I ought to check it out at some point, too.

The Count
A Good Day to Die Hard, (Die Hard 5) and the franchise continues to be milked... Still, I don't mind some explosions, car chases and Officer John McClane... Oh, and the glass. Always so much glass...

I went and saw 'Now You See Me'. I personally liked it a lot more than critics did.

Did anyone else notice this scene in this movie?

Yeah. My first thought was "Is that what I think it is?"

But anyway, I saw Red 2 a while back. Hilarious, but not as good as the first (as what usually happens with movies).

Finally got round to watching Monsters University. It's a solid film, but compared to other Pixar flicks, it certainly felt like it was lacking something. Helen Mirren's voice acting was the highlight.

I have to see The Conjuring, it's been a while since I saw an impressive horror movie.

Unfortunately, I'm underage, and neither of my parents want to see it... Maybe I can sneak in, pretending to go to another movie...
I guess I'll be adding that to the "Bad things you do" thread....

The Conjuring

This is why you shouldn't have expectations for a movie. I went in with very high ones because it's not often that a horror movie gets a great RT%.

It wasn't that scary. The trailers were really creepy, and since the movie ramps up the tension for every big scare, you can sense the same scares in the trailer coming. The scariest part was probably
When the photos crash down the staircase. It sounded like a machine gun went off in the theater.

It was very well made though. The scares were good, just not as scary or as frequent as they could have been. 3/5.
