Soo...

I found myself watching the tale-end of Batman v. Superman the other day, because I was watching regular television and it was the only legitimate option. Again, I'm in the process of watching Marvel-netflix shows, but didn't feel an urge to switch what I was watching.

Then that ended and the Ben Affleck DareDevil started.. Which.. I watched.. Don't know why, but lol that era of ComicAdaptations was wild.. After that I started watching my binge of DareDevil S2 and realized that I wasted my time, sort of.. :p

I've been binging the MCU movies as of late
Just finished watching Endgame and still think Thanos is a complete psychopathic idiot. There's no 'balance' in slaughtering an entire race of trolls, you left ONE alive and it was a guy, you just doomed the species! Plants and animals count too so you're not saving anyone, same resource to people ratio! And we're to believe this asshole comes out of nowhere and beats up both Hulk and Thor(who was recently power buffed)? Yeah I don't think so.... he's the worst villain in the MCU after the Flagsmashers. Killing Loki sure doesn't do any favors, just makes me hate the trash heap of a villain even more. At least you could see where Ultron was coming from, he wasn't wrong there will never be peace among humans this entire pandemic is proof.

You mean Tyrion the Giant? That's a means to an end. He slayed his race to secure that nobody was going to replicate the Infinity Gauntlet, that's a choice besides his 'balance'-quest.

As for Thanos beating the crap out of Thor and Hulk:
1. Thanos is a titan. An Eternal at that.
2. Thanos at that point was powered-up by the Power Stone in his Infinity Gauntlet.
3. Thor had to protect his people while fighting, same doesn't count for Thanos' forces.
4. Thor only had Loki and Heimdall as back-up - Banner stayed out of it until Loki called him out. Thanos had all four of the BlackOrder and his army.

Also, quite sure he doesn't come out of nowhere, the previous movies set him up as having quite the military force and in one he even mentions he'll do it himself..

My little pony A new generation. A was skeptical at frist but after watching I can say I enjoyed it. Tho I have to wonder what happened to cause the loss of Magic in the first place as well as what become of chars like Discord as well as races like dragons, griffins etc.
I saw it too and I’m wondering exactly how many years have passed between Twilight taking over as leader of Equestria to New Generation. Based on the technology seen in the new movie, the Ponies definitely have gotten far more advanced but Friendship also had some more modern technology in it to be too early to be called “ancient.” Friendship had indoor plumbing, machinery for canning food in a factory, trains, cameras, stoves and ovens, refrigerators (mostly seen in Sugar Cube Corner’s kitchen in the background in a couple of episodes), hot air balloons, and sewing machines. And one episode even showed the Flim Flam Brothers operating what is basically a demolition robot in an alternate timeline which is a pretty modern concept. And it’s even more complicated when you factor in Equestria Girls which takes place in modern times as of right now and exists as parallel universe as Pony Equestria. I thought the songs weren’t too bad but I have to say Danger, Danger was my least favorite of the bunch and felt like the weakest of them all. I did enjoy finding hidden Easter eggs of the last generation in the movie including a photo of Starswirl the Bearded. There were a couple of flaws but still pretty good as a movie overall.

I get the impression from reading up about My Little Pony: A New Generation that the script may have started life as a full reboot with no connection to Friendship is Magic (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers do this all the time, and even My Little Pony itself has a history of full reboots). But somewhere down the line it must have been mandated that the movie be canon with Friendship is Magic because that show was so damn popular, and a full reboot would've alienated the fans.

THIS. Thanos is a great villain, but a downright unsympathetic one.

Venom: Let there be Carnage

I'll be honest, I wasn't excited for it nor really cared(Cause Venom WITHOUT Spider-Man is stupid!). I just watched it cause I wanted to understand Far from Home and I'm watching that ASAP!
He's in the MCU in the post credits

No Time To Die - My first trip to a cinema in 19 months, I went in with low expectations because I wasn't impressed by any of the trailers and the new 007 replacing Bond seemed like a really awful character, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the movie is. It's much better than Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Skyfall or Spectre. Daniel Craig is an OK James Bond, and I'm happy that Lea Seydoux (one of my favourite Bond Girls) is brought back and not killed off like many others are. The supporting cast of M, Q and Moneypenny have always been my favourite part of the Daniel Craig movies and they're as great as always, I even ended up liking the CIA characters that Bond briefly joins with for his mission. There's this one inexperienced CIA agent who accompanies Bond at one point and I loved every minute she was on screen, she was so cute! Can we get a movie focused on her please?
The main thing No Time To Die suffers from is that, like all of the Daniel Craig James Bond movies, it's part of one ongoing story and the plot expects you to remember things that happened as far back as Casino Royale, so you can't really appreciate it as a standalone thing. The villain wasn't that interesting, it feels like they were trying to do an old school Bond villain but it didn't quite work. And while Skyfall and Spectre both ended on a triumphant note, No Time To Die's ending is very bittersweet, to the point where I'm tempted to say "Yeah Spectre is the true ending of this story, and this can be ignored". Overall though I really enjoyed it, and give it 8 out of 10.

Maybe this will look like a troll post except I mostly just like watching the static on television from input failure.
-I had enough on-screen-drama from reactions to troll posts on the internet that it's more insightful,
just looking and listening to the static is more than enough for me to enjoy watching TV, no lie

It’s Kalos season!
No Time to Die is easily one of the best James Bond movies ever. Reinhardt already gave a well detailed explanation/review so I won’t even bother with doing my own review of No Time to Die in this thread.

No Time to Die.

Fantastic experience. For the most part I agree with Reinhardt, but I disagree about his feeling about the endnote. I feel that as a character-arc about Bond and his (in-)ability to feel trust and have worthwhile bonds this is the movie we needed after Spectre.

Halloween Kills - I probably should've watched the 2018 Halloween again before seeing this, because it takes place seconds after the end of the previous one, but it's been three years and I don't remember much about it. Halloween Kills is written as part 2 of 3, and can't really be enjoyed as its own thing, you need to watch both the 2018 Halloween and the orignal to understand what's going on, and I don't like that kind of sequel. It also doesn't help that most of the character dialogue is just re-capping what happened in the original Halloween, "40 years ago Michael tore our community apart", "40 years ago Michael murdered my daughter". "40 years ago I survived an encounter with Michael", that kind of thing.
I do like how they tried at least something a bit different with the plot, the town being so terrified of Michael that they form an angry mob that chant a slogan and mindlessly go after an innocent man who they think might be Michael. Michael's scenes were generally well-done, but there are power creep issues going on now, he's getting more and more OP with each new movie to the point where it's getting silly. I was mostly bored by this movie, to the point where I'm now hesitent to watch Halloween Ends when it comes out next year. 3 out of 10.

Just watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and it's really good. Good acting and cinematography.

It gets a 9/10 from me.

Hero Dog: The Long Way Home

A movie about a blind man walking a dog in the woods. They meet mild peril on their way home.

He’s trying to use the dog as a guide dog after surfing a boat crash, but it looks more like a Sunday afternoon outing.

Cool concept, but characters keep making dumb decisions. Probably needed a few more drafts before filming.

I watched the Toy Story trilogy again(Not 4, it's garbage and shouldn't exist) cause of the hype the Lightyear trailer gave me.

I really like how the original three were a rare instance of being better than it's predecessors, the stories were better and the villains vastly improved. Stinky Pete and Lotso's fates always put a smile to my face as they got precisely what they deserved, I really like how they try and make it look like Lotso's getting redeemed before he's like 'Nope, still a scumbag. See ya!' I honestly fell for it the first time I saw the movie years ago.

I do hope Zurg is in Lightyear, we never did get much of him in the films. That's something that always disappointed me as I loved his design

I watched some short anime film called Cocolors.

Interesting concept; kids growing up underground wearing astronaut-like suits to protect them from the ashen world they grow up in. My main issue with it though was that it was kind of confusing, they kinda forced you to really use your brain to get the moral of the story, and even then I don't think it was portrayed too well. I didn't dislike it or anything, it was a decent watch. Hard to recommend it, however.
