Ash & Goh have returned to th Galar Region to watch an official Pokémon World Coronation Series match, between the Champion Leon and one of the Galar Gym Leaders, Raihan. With Raihan being listed as Leon's greatest rival. The battle between the two begins. Who will end up victorious?

Leon seems to tailor his Charizard's moveset to each opponent. Against Lance he had Thunder Punch, Air Slash, Fire Spin and Flamethrower, but this time he was packing Dig, Brick Break, Flamethrower and probably another move (I only caught the endish of the battle so he may still have Air Slash or Fire Spin). I think this will make Leon's battles a little more refreshing to watch even if he only uses Charizard

His first Galar mon is Farfetch'd. Way to go. That's the kind of surprise capture we need.

Also it is quite strong. Let's hope we get to see more of it in upcoming battles.

Wow there's a lot going on here! Raihan, Sonia and Rose debuts, a bit of lore about what I presume to be the Darkest Day, and Ash catching his first ever regional form! Seems like this was a great episode!

Now coming back to the battle. Leon changed Charizard's moveset to suit his needs but that Charizard is just too strong. Surviving a Stone Edge like that.

Also Sonia was there for that statue I presume. And that same statue caught Ash's eye before the battle.

This episode was way better than the last episode which is more or less the worst episode of this series.

I love how in the trailer for the upcoming episodes they tricked us by using the the line tha Ash uses to invite Farfetch'd to join him by mounting it with Sobble's footage.
