• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

Can Go stop acting salty about Ash getting Pokemon. This is the 2nd time (Gengar being 1st) that Go was upset about Ash getting a Pokemon he wanted.

As if Ash has ever displayed that attitude. Why does Go have to be a poor sport about these things. Like holy crap Go, you just catch ALL the Pokemon left and right, maybe one of them Ash may have wanted, but he shows his support and you have be salty for Ash getting something.

I'd understand if Go wasn't catching Pokemon left and right and he was struggling, I'd be more understanding of Go being upset. But does the person who is just throwing Poke balls left and right and capturing and scooping up Pokemon left and right, does a person like that really have any right to be upset about missing a capture here and there, especially when Ash has been MORE supportive than Go about Go catching Pokemon. I don't think Go has ever praised Ash getting something, he's always been reserved or "oh well" can't go be a supportive friend?

To be fair though, it's entirely possible I misread the scene I may have to rewatch to make sure.
I think it's part of Go's emotional immaturity, would be a good character flaw if characters scolded him a bit more when he was being childish. Heck, I think now would be a good time for a character like Iris to say, "You're such a little kid."

Because he's 10 and when you're a kid, it sucks seeing someone getting what you wanted? Hell, it sucks even as an adult.

Especially so since he had a chance to get it and failed.

All he did was make a face. Stop acting like he threw a tantrum.

speaking of Rose, did he have the same VA as twilight wings? or a different one?

He didn't say anything. And they typically never reuse anime voices for other animations.

The episode was nice with ash finally getting a regional form. And I feel sobble got scared of Galarian Farfetch'd. Also, the next time they visit Galar, I guess Rose will have a bigger role to play.

Well, I didn’t expect Ash catching Galarian Farfetch’d, but it was a great surprise & it’s nice to see that it’s become a sparring partner for Riolu. Honestly, the big takeaway from this (at least for me) is that it’s hinting that Ash will be getting more than 6 pokémon for this series since he currently has 2 Fighting types now

I’m surprised at how the pacing was for this episode despite so much going on. Aside from only showing Sonia for a brief moment, everything didn’t feel rushed and we’re properly built up throughout the episode

Such a good episode. Raihan is as charismatic as I was hope, just minus the Rotom selfies but I’m sure we will get that down the line. The battle was pretty good and the writers conveniently ended it before Duraludon could use G-Max Depletion. That’ll certainly be a hurdle Ash will have to get over in the future. I love the fact that Ash made his declaration of victory be known to both Raihan and Leon. And the stare down with Rose, good lord I love me some Pokeani plot

also Sonia, my Queen, you were only here for like 30 seconds but your cuteness knows no bounds

And I am expecting a thoroughly written 500-word essay of apology to me and everyone else who stood by our claim that G-Farfetch’d was destined for Ash.

Some thoughts

- it wasnt the "ultimate" battle
-anyone saw that couple when Sonia and Ash were talking?
-Chairman Rose was random

I just thought of something funny. Dragonite wasn't in this episode... someone's getting a hug.

Almighty Zard

He has returned.
It's hilarious. Some guys on Twitter is starting to say that Ash will trade Farfetch to Gou. They're really desperate.

Farfetch'd follows Ash because it wants to get stronger.
Ash's invitation line to Farfetch'd in episode 27 is the same one from the special PV: "You could grow stronger with my team".

I knew that was going to start up, it's only going to intensify next week should Gou really get Sobble.

Haven’t been around much cause I’m a number of episodes behind, but when I heard Ash caught Galarian Farfetch’d I just had to come say how happy I am. The new Farfetch’d line are possibly my favorite designs of the new gen but given his recent captures I really didn’t think Ash would be getting it. Really stoked that I can say I’m 100% happy with one of these surprise captures for once

Makes sense, seems they're going with a theme of Goh getting random pokemon who are content to just laze about at the laboratory (except Raboot) with no expectations, whereas Ash gets ones that are heavily motivated to improve or prove themselves in various ways. Basically they get pokemon that reflect their training styles, Goh being a collector whose pokemon just keep living how they did before but in a different location, and Ash being a battler whose pokemon want to reach new heights of power and skill (even Dragonite is motivated to be stronger so it will have the power to help others).

DuquÊ?

Too lazy to pick a pic
I just noticed they didn't use the same sparkling background on Sonia's appearance that was used in the special preview months ago. Well, it would be strange for both Ash and Go, anyway. Sonia's still great and cute (somewhat remembering me Risa from "The Power of Us". Didn't get her thing with ears, though.

Incidentally, I had the feeling Ash just got a kid's friendly pokemon version of Gatts from Berserk.

-He said that line-
Don't do that again.

- Not really. An "ultimate battle" in this show have at least three episodes.
- Nope, what couple?
- Well, he'll be important ahead.

Of course he remembers ash, he is the MC afterall who forgets the MC's name.
Until the next show, when almost everyone from the current series doesn't remember him anymore.

Well, every episode, the opening literally describes Ash and Go respectively as a battler and a catcher, so...

It'd be neat for Goh to catch Sobble since Ash caught Farfetch'd. Though if Ash got Grookey it probably wouldn't evolve since it's the cute stage of its evolution. But it also might because of the band scene at the end of SWSH.
