My absolute least favorite character. As a kid who could be anything, the writers had endless possibilities for him. However, they let it rot with endless "Max befriends a pokemon" stories when he's important at all. And a character I find him totally annoying

His best moments usually come from sibling moments with May.

But hey, at least he isn't bland as hell as some other characters on the group. Also, the lack of Pokemon contributes to the lack of stories involving him, so that can't be helped at the moment.

I found him a bit interesting at the beginning of Hoenn, but he wears on your nerves after awhile.

No, his best moments were his "oh, Ash won't beat Norman!" comments leading up to his forty-second emofest.

I actually like how he goes on and on about how intelligent he is yet constantly makes errors. He's a little kid and little kids do act like that. He's actually pretty realistic, although I don't see why his parents would let him wander around and get into dangerous situations since he's not ten yet...

And his point on the show is to keep May from using Ash and Brock as boytoys according to Pokemopolis.

God, how many polls can it get, but anyhoo he's all right. At times I like him when the gushy parts with May, but when he thinks he's all that, just want you to kill him. No matter what, he's there to annoy.

However, IMO, Max is better than May. He's okay. However, he doesn't DO much.

i was annoyed at him, hes kind of selfish.First Caroline makes may take him along (i mean come on its May's adventure, i wouldn't wnat my lil bro coming along)
and then he followed her to pallet town i know she doesn't mind but i just think that its too much responsability to put on may and her parents should get off their backsides and raise their kid theirselfs
