Ok, I have been seeing very many threads about Mew lately, and I think she deserves a thread of her own. This is where all your questions about Mew will be answered, post how you got her, how quickly, how many times you went through the Buried Relic to get her.
Please don't spam.
Just be nice, no flaming, and help each other out.
Note: I just made this this to minimize the threads about "ZOMG h0w dew 1 g3t Mew>??!??!?". I already have her, and if you would like to know how, click my site in my sig. Dont't complain to me about this, I most likely wont be looking back here often, since I don't need any help finding her.

Notes: Ok, here are some things you should consider before you read this. I went throught the Buired Relic once, and I didnt see her 1 time. I waited about 2 weeks (real life time) and went back. I first saw her on floor 38, then 52, the I got her on 84. I only had Registeel with me. I was level 95, with a Friend Bow. I WILL call Mew a she, because IMO, she is a she. ;-;
You may find Mew the first time you go into the Buried Relic, but after defeating the Regis, I went back for supplies.

To start off, here are the items that I recomed that you bring with you to the Buried Relic:
Hold @ Tight Belt
1 Friend Bow
1 X-Ray Specs (I didn't use them, I don't think you need them either, IMO)
1 Music Box
5 Reviver Seeds
5 Max Elixthers
1 Big Apple (Just in case something happens to your Tight belt)
2 Clense Orbs
1 Escape Orb
I usually depend on regular attack, so I only brought one Max
Elixther. Its up to you about those. Also, bring any other items you like in the empty spots.
Now, the first thing you do before you do is MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HER FRIEND AREA. You can buy it from the Wigglituff Shop. And also BRING THE MUSIC BOX. Also, make sure you have a spot for here on your team. She takes up one *, so you can have up to 3 Pokemon on your team under 5 stars. ( I wouldn't bring anyone though, they will use up your Revier Seeds)
When you get past floor 35 in the Buired Relic, your search for Mew begins. The few things you need to watch out for is:
1. Mew. Obviously. Sometimes she won't use Transform. Check all the rooms, she may be sleeping, though its unlikely.
2. Watch the Text Box.
3. Look for these 2 things:
* "Mew used Transorm" That means she has transformed into another Pokemon, so battle them all to find her. Note that she can float over water, so if you see a Sandshrew walking in the water, its Mew.
* "Mew picked up -insert item name/Poke here-" This means she is on the floor also.
People have said all you need to do is walk about 20 steps and you are good to go to the next floor, but don't forget to check all the rooms to make sure she isn't sleeping.
She can appear in Monster houses, but in my experience, I saw here as soon as I got to a floor.
Dont give up.
If you are set to find her, keep going. It will pay off eventually.
When you finally find her, stay calm. Put on your Friend Bow, and beat everyone in that floor. When you find her and defeat her, she will become see-through, then dissapear, unless she wants to join your team. She has a 0.9% of joining, so with a Level 90+ Pokeon and a Firend Bow, you have 34.9% chance of her joining you, max.

1 friend bow
4 Huge apples
1 Tight Belt
3 Max ELixers (I normally use normal attack too, but if you don't, use these)

2 Cleanse Obs (though I bring one as I have trap Seer)
1 Escape Orb
EMPTY SPACE (for Rock Part)
EMPTY SPACE (for Ice Part)
EMPTY SPACE (for Steel part)
Also you could just bring a Music Box Instead.
1. Equipt the Tight Belt and keep it on til' floor 36.
2. Once on floor 36, give your leader X-Ray specs.
3. Chase all the dots that were on the screen at the START of the floor
4. While chasing, look at the Message Log for: "Mew used Transform!" or "Mew picked up the ____ (Poke)"
4. Look to see if there's a room with an abnormal amount of items. It's probably a moster house (5+ Items is a deffinate Monster House)
5. Walk in to the room if it looks like a monster house, and look for Mew dropping down from the Ceiling. If there was no Monster house (or didn't look like one), or there wa no Mew, go to the next floor.
6. When you find Mew, equipt the Friend Bow to your highest Level pokemon, make it your leader, and Show it the true power of your rescue team!
With these tips, I managed to get Mew just 5 minutes ago!
