This struck me as odd.

Whenever I saw Mew more than once in one trip, I don't see Mew on my next trips relevant to the number of times I saw Mew e.g. I saw Mew three times once (though it didn't join) my next 2 trips through Buried Relic, I never found Mew. On my third try, I found her again 2, and the next time I didn't find her at all.

So maybe theoreticly you see Mew the number of times you go through Buried Relic

Its ok, dont be angry. :)

I was kind of mad when I went through 1 time with no sighting at all, but I got her on the second time.

MYSTERIOUS MISSINGNO: Good theroy, but I saw her 3 times, and I have only gone through once.

Actually MM's theorey is very plausible as I go through and saw Mew 8 times! And on my last 6 trips to Buried Relic haven't seen it again. Oh and I think MM meant that if you go through Buried Relic and see Mew 3 times then the next 2 trips you won't see it.

I didn't say it was wrong, I was just saying that didn't happen for me.

I meant if you saw it 3 times, the next 2 times you won't see her.

So there a pros and cons for seeing her more than once (but only pros if you recruit her!)

I finally recruited Mew! After going through buried relic 16 times and meeting with her about 8-10 times and defeating her in battle, I finally recruited her.
Ok, so after I beat all the Regi's and recruited Regirock I met Mew on floor 38 and it was in a monster house as it is as i usually met it in one, I beat it and it didn't join, then on floor 60 something where it was sleeping and i beat it again and then no join, again on 80 something in a monster house but this time I was trying to lead it into a nice empty room after beating the monster house then falling into a pitfall trap, I was so furious and then I finally gave up hope when I got up to floor 90 and above even though the chances of meeting it are higher, I found it on floor 94 where it transformed into Sandshrew I think it was and I wasn't positive it was Mew until I saw it step on water so I pressed the A button and defeated it and then it asked to join where I was trying to keep calm and then saved the game and then jump with joy and blah blah blah. I was so happy. BTW, i have like a bunch of legendary recruits. Mew, Regirock, Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Deoxys. Thank you. Ahh for all those people still trying to get it btw don't lose hope or ever give up because there's always hope and quitters never win :)

i hate mew! i was going to buried relic for the first time i started with swamperd, pikachu and tropius. before level 90 al my partners died and only swampert was left. and at the 98 floor i think 6 steps before the stairs i got killed by the that f*cking mew.

and from now on i hate mew for ever!!!!!!!!!

Don't be mad, jut get to level 90+ next time you go, and use my guide (above).

How many Reviver Seeds did you bring?
As I said before, if you are level 90+, you have a better chanse of restricting her AND you don't need any partners, since they use up your Revier Seeds quickly.

ooo, what's cooking?
lemme explain the eziest way to get mew. Go thru the dungeon with about 4 transfer orbs under ur belt. When u reach floor 94-98, u'll have only 2 pokemon there, mew and golem. If a golem comes next tou, use the orb, and it'll change into Mew! I have not yet tried but it pretty obvious, and bring 4 so u can try once every floor...
