Outta here!
Yes, I know, I already have a game with a million dollar prize. At this point, this is a fail-safe in case Millionaire goes down, as it has been going rather slow due to multiple players not paying attention/not caring.
RULES:
A team of two players is given 40 bundles of $25,000. They must then work together through 8 questions to keep as much of that money as possible.
At the start of each question, two categories are given. The team must decide which category to use for the next question.
Each question is multiple choice; the first four questions have 4 possible answers, the next three have three possible answers, and the final question has two possible answers.
Unlike Millionaire, you are allowed to hedge by placing money on multiple answers by proportion to how confident you are of the answer. However, one trap door must be left empty on every question, including the last.
Once a category is chosen, the question and its answers are revealed. One they have all been revealed, the team has 60 seconds (48 hours) to figure out how they should place their money. If the contestants are sure of their answer, they can ask to have the clock stopped before it expires.
From Wikipedia:
After the end of the time limit, the trap-doors relating to incorrect answers open (sometimes one by one, and with varying delays to increase suspense), and any money placed on those answers is no longer available to be won by the contestants. In addition any money not placed by the end of the time limit is also lost. If they have any money left, they proceed to the next question where the process is repeated. However, if they lose all their money, they are out of the game.
If you have any money remaining after the last question, your team splits the remaining money.
The game requires teamwork; you'll have to discuss with your partner what category to choose, what you think the answer is, how to place your money, etc.
Should this be approved, I'll need two players; they'll both take on the drop together.
