The Miso Region!

I'm making a new region called Miso, as you can tell from the title, but due to laziness, I only have one town. Lately I've just been making bunnies and sometimes I make trainer sprites. Please comment on my sprites!

Well, I'm already making a character sheet, but so far I've only got 4 sprites of Sato(pink outfit girl). Instead of spriting characters, lately I've been making towns. It's weird how I work. I'll work on something, then start doing something totally unrelated, and then by the time I go back to the original project, it's months later!

Thank you for the critiscism! Also, there is a "de-busy-fied" version of the town. It's right next to the original. Could you tell me how to make it look like a town? Oh, and maybe how I can make a mini-park with out the secret base slide. Thanks again!

They're pretty good. The main improvement is, on the first pic, on of the women is being swallowed by the flowers. XD

I think it looks very professional, you've really paid attention to detail.

I would love to play in this town myself - you've included a variety of interesting concepts, such as the secret base, and that object next to it. Not sure what that is actually, care to explain it for me?

I think the roaming Pokemon in the first is a lovely touch, it would be great to walk into a town and find a Blaziken and Venusaur battling in the ceter - and with proper attacks too, not just constant tackling.

One last question, where did the name come from, "Gyoza", just a random thought that popped up in my mind >.>.

It's a bird! It's a plane! Holy crud, it's an actual update! Okay, so there are still no new towns, but it's something.

How many trainer sprites does it take to make this girl? Three! If Miso was a game, this would be a gym leader. Her name is Sato, and her overworld is seen in Gyoza Town(pink outfit, to the right of that big tree. Please, where are the people?!

Wow, more replies! Tale, I don't know what you mean by- oh! You must be talking about the treehouse! Y'know, the one with the ladder? The object is a Tailow, and it's carrying apples from the tree. The idea was that Chikorita was scaring it off, and the Tailow is flying away. On the right side of the tree, however, there's a girl sliding down the slide. I guess you could be talking about the Tailow or the slide, so there you go! Gyoza is a type of dumpling, and the miso in the Miso region comes from a type of soup. All the names of cities and towns are related to food. I'll list a few future towns and the food they're named for here:
Shumai Village-dumpling, Kimchee Town- cabbage mixed with spices and sauce(usually eaten with rice), Teriyaki County(meat), and Calmari Port(squid). The Wasabi Islands(Japanese horseradish) are named after sushi and sushi-related stuff: Sashimi, Tarako, Oshi, Maki, and in the middle there are the Nori Coves(seaweed).

Dreams DO come true! Finally, I'm not alone. I need your opinion on this: What should I work on first? Routes? Trainers? I'm thinking of making rooms to go with the houses. Man, I wish Spriter's Resource was open.. I'll let this thread go on it's own until I sprite something so you won't see any multi-posting from me! Sayonara!

Yup, a new trainer. Her overworld is seen walking by the pokémon center with a red outfit. Routes are in progress(they take A LOT of time), I just made this in my spare time. Yeah, not that exciting, just a little something to remind you that I still sprite trainers. Don't forget to rate this thread! One star is rather pitiful..

Yes, I don't have a route yet. It's going to take a while, so just bear with me and enjoy the bunnies.

The town is WAY too crowded, plus... it dosen't really need all of those flowers. If it did, they would be everywhere but in random spots.
