The most 'perfect' legendary so far

In your opinion what is the most 'perfect' legendary so far of all legendaries of all gens? Or is yet to come?

Being 'perfect' here means it has to be the best of its type and outstand other different types legendaries.
Its perfection also has to be measured by areas such as its stats, movepool, ability, look, name and other things that make it so 'perfect' like the idea behind its creation. Try not to judge by favorite.^^

Mew sounds almost 'perfect' but not quite. Theres this new legendary in 4th gen, which happens to be my favorite, but im not featuring it for that simple reason. IMO the most 'perfect' legendary' so far:

DARKRAI​

Name: Darkrai is perfect. Fully explains its type.
Look: Also perfect. Dark and gloomy. Like scary creature in your bad dreams.
The idea: Perfect. As written in its D/P dex texts, creature from darkness that keeps making you have nightmares.
Ability: Bad Dreams. Perfect.
Classification: Pitch-black pokemon. Perfect.
Stats : Quite perfect for legendary. Especially its Sp. Atk that support its movepool.
Movepool: Dark void, Nightmare, Dream eater, Dark pulse, etc. So perfect.

So, do you guys share the same opinion with me, or you have other candidate in your head? Or you think the most 'perfect' legendary has yet to come?

I agree with you, Cutty Flam. Darkrai is, IMHO, the 'most perfect' Legendary.

I don't really see any legendary as the 'most perfect' (though I'd love to say Giratina is, but it's not). All of them have some sort of minor flaw. I'm not sure that Darkrai would stand up to Dialga well, but I could be wrong. I can guess that a few people will say Arceus, but is it really the best Normal-Type? Is Mewtwo the best Psychic ever? Does Groudon beat all of the other grounds (well, probably). Anyway, my point is that I don't see any of the legendaries being more perfect than another. Now 'more likeable' is a different subject...

Although it is good in battle, it is a fugly insult to the Dark type. It should have been a ghost.

IMO Arceus is the best. It can become any type. Now that is awesomer than some psuedo - ghost thing.

I have NFI about battling, EVs, DVs, Movepool or any shit like that, so IDGAF.

To me. Palkia is teh perfect legend. But every poke has one flaw or another.

Look: Sinister look of something gone awry but doesnt betray Mewtwo's style when he turns good
The idea: great game sprites from way back in R/B/Y to present. His look perfectly goes with the idea he was some sort of experiment. besides he has "horrific" mentioned in his dex twice not even darkrai can say that
Classification: "Genetic" Simple and effective
Stats : Quite perfect for legendary. Especially its Sp. Atk that support its movepool.
Movepool: ridiculous, and even more ridiculous with its awesome stats, but now its *****diculous with aura sphere. i mean it has 3 weaknesses but only 1 poses a threat now and thats ghost, dark got screwed with aura sphere and bug's no threat anyways, especially since heracross is weak to psychic.

I think defiently palkia, the name isnt dat great, and the look could of been just a little bit better, but its stats are amazing and its movepool, and its types are perfect, water pokemon are my second favorite type, and dragons my favorite so its the perfect combination of types, so i think palkia comes closest of being perfect and even its not...

I don't think there is a perfect legendary. They all have certain flaws, even my beloved Palkia. If i had to pick though i would say Palkia.

I like its name and classification. I like its movepool, stats and typing. I think its look could have been a bit better but it still looks pretty great.

But as i said i don't think there is a perfect legendary Pokemon but my closest pick would be Palkia.

Mew is the ultimate baton-passer, it can pass Sword Dance, Rock Polish, Barrier, Nasty Plot, Amnesia, and Double Team !

Darkrai is THE first uber I thought was cool. Too bad I can't get one :/

darkrai has a cool name, cool sprite, everything associated with darkrai suits it perfectly.

also, rayquaza (especially shiny), lugia, dialga, suicune and latios look cool.

the regis look alright, but the only one that looks decent is regirock. regice just looks like WTF!?! but you kind of get used to it. registeel just looks like a silver rounded version of regice. As for regigigas, i can think of a tonne of flaws that IT has.

There's no such as thing as a "perfect" legend, but if I had to say, it'd be Dialga, it has many resistances (Psychic resist and Dragon neutral is good in Uber), has good movepool for sweeping, looks cool, it's "diamond"

However, there must be one that closes to perfect that outclasses the rest of legendaries. Like a student who has the best grades in class although not so popular.^^

Second, this is not Darkrai worship thread or the kinds. I didnt just lash out and say "hey Darkrai is my fave legendary so he's the best." I support my statement with strong reasons as you can read in my first post.
So if none of you here can contradict my statement with good reasons then I will just wrap up this discussion and announce that Darkrai is the most 'perfect' legendary.^^

Now, lets see other candidates that you guys mentioned (I'll try to be fair):

Palkia: combo type legendary. one flaw. It has the best combo 4 dragon however. From what I read, you guys (palkia fans) said bout its look could have better and its name isnot that catchy, so you guys realize yourself that your candidate is less perfect than mine. =p
Did I mention bout Darkrai lacks of something at the very top? No.
So without further words as this isnt bashing thread, Im gonna have to cross Palkia out of the list.^^

MewTwo: Almost perfect, but not quite. You see, it's up against its worst enemy: The Dark King, which gets STAB for its sp. atk. So, sorry.

The Regis family: Some normal pokemons can sweep them. Im gonna have to eliminate them too.

Jirachi: Cannot stand up against uber.^^

Dialga: Most ppl will say Palkia has better combo. Its look is kinda weird (in a cool kinda way of course, still better than Palkia). I dont read good enough reasons to make Dialga more 'perfect' than Darkrai. Since Darkrai can cure itself and pwn the opponent at the same time.

So, so far Darkrai is still the most 'perfect' legendary.^^

No, i never said that. I think Palkia's name is good. I think its looks could have been done a little better. It's pointless anyway because everyone has their own opinion. In your opinion we admitted that Palkia was less perfect then Darkrai, but in my opinion Dakrai's name is unimaginative and it doesn't look very good either. So, this thread is mainly just a matter of opinions. I stand by my opinion but i never stated that Palkia was less perfect. If anything i think Palkia is more perfect. Darkrai would be crossed off my list if i had one.

I think there are quite a few legendaries that i also consider close to perfect. These include Giratina, Suicune, Mewtwo and Kyogre. But in my opinion Palkia is still the most perfect. I like its movepool, its stats and its type combos. In my opinion it pretty much covers almost everything on your list

You do realize that Mewtwo has focus blast and out speeds Darkrai, right? Once Pokemon.com reveals how to get a legit Darkrai everywhere outside of Japan, no Mewtwo is not going to be packing focus blast. So, sorry. Mewtwos will be clobbering Darkrais.

Dialga: Most ppl will say Palkia has better combo. Its look is kinda weird (in a cool kinda way of course, still better than Palkia). I dont read good enough reasons to make Dialga more 'perfect' than Darkrai. Since Darkrai can cure itself and pwn the opponent at the same time.

...or since Dialga can pack aura sphere (again, it will be common once legit Darkrais come out) and Darkrai, although could, is unlikely to pack fighting moves. Not only that, Darkrai's standard moveset barely does normal damage to Dialga. If someone doesn't have special rend or ice beam, Dialga's going to cause Darkrai to wet its pants more than Mewtwo will.

To me, Groudon is now the best legendary. Fire punch now gets his physical power and a sunny day boost, sunny day shields it from water, not many exeggutors hang out in the uber games, its the best uber to deal with blissey, it backs a powerful dragon claw, and it's the only uber that has the balls to be a physical sweeper.

Not that I like Giratina that much, but the Sleep Talker sets, owns Darkrai, since its defenses make it able to take hits from it, Sleep Talk to absorb sleep, not that this is a competitive thread or anything.

but the best poke has to be Mewtwo. faster than nearly all Ubers with a SUPREMELY high Sp.Attack. aura sphere owns Darkrai before it s even realised the light's been switched on and its movepool can basically beat nearly ever Uber for S/E

Look: Sorry but I sort of think as flying pokemon and psychic pokemon (examples: fearow and kadabra) have low defense and are the sort of pokemon you use how 1 hit KOs or it dies. Lugia is the ultimate opposite.
The idea: Like the pokedex, causes a 40day storm by flapping winds. the ultimate flier.
Ability: Pressure. explains how strong it is to cause the pressure
Classification: The Psychic powerhouse of the sky.
Stats : ultimate defense stats and good hp while it's attack is just enough to chip in a few good moves
Movepool: Sky attack = 140power. breloom better watch out you lil grass fighter.
