Read this. Though the article syas "it might spell doomsday, we can never know. This was a recent operation after the "Black hole machine"
Whatever the case, the most powerful atom-smasher ever built comes online Wednesday, eagerly anticipated by scientists worldwide who have awaited this moment for two decades.

The multibillion-dollar Large Hadron Collider will explore the tiniest particles and come ever closer to re-enacting the Big Bang, the theory that a colossal explosion created the universe.

This is the part that amazes me. To re-enact the big bang theory, or so, re-enact it in general.

This experiment sounds kind of risky. If they screw up this the reenactment of the Big Bang theory once, we're all doomed.

Well, there are many scientists who said that this machine can create a black hole that could destroy the earth forever, but other scientists said that this atom-smashing thing happens a bunch of times in the universe and it doesn't create any black hole.
Maybe we'll survive, come on! ;)

Few topics down the page, bub.

To add something of little value to the topic, no matter how suicidal we all are the world is not going to end. You'll just have to cope with living a little longer, at least until a meteor hits us/nuclear war starts/global warming threatens us all.
