The Most Powerful Gym Leader In The Anime

Honestly guys, who are they? I've been thinking about this for a while now and never really got an answer. For me, they all seem to be of equal strength. Clair and her dragons do seem powerful. And Sabrina with Psy Pokemon are Uber powerful......

So who do you guys think is the most powerful gym leader and why?

Most Powerful? Just of the top of my head I'd say Sabrina, Blaine, Giovanni, Claire, Norman and Juan sticks out of the rest.

Most powerful is obviously Giovanni, being the head of team rocket and everything, but in all honesty I'd say Norman is the biggest challenge. He tests how his opponents react to different situations and actually tries to teach his opponents something while the others mostly just have a team you have to beat.

Giovanni was most powerful because he had Mewtwo and all.

But since that obviously didn't work out for him, I'd have to go with Clair.

She's got a dang Kingdra, and Dragonair too! Dragon Pokemon FTW!

Plus she was supposably taught under Lance. Or was that only in the game?

I'll have to check that out sometime though.

And the first time I saw Sabrina, I thought "How the heck will Ash get out of this???"
She turned them into dolls. I DO NOT want to fight someone like that. Why didn't Ash just go to another gym. :p But I forget that that is what makes Ash, ASH!

the most powerful gym leader are sabrina w, clair with her dragon types pokemon like kingdra and dragonair. giovanii has mewtwo and other powerful pokemon, too Norman he is dificcult to defeat

i have to say sabrina just because in anime psychic types are like ubers because basicly u can control the other pokemon and stuff but also sabrina turns u into dolls and thorws stuff at u

She was technically trained under ash and has gyrados!! But we really haven't seen her much in an actual gym battle.

Clair so far has proven to seem much stronger than any other gym. Exept she has a gyrados. And ash was so weak for this battle he had to call charizard and snorelax, his powerhouses at the time.

He was able to beat juan without any help from prev.gen pokemon.

Any Gym Leader where Ash lost or had to go back and battle twice. I don't think Agatha counted, because she is part of the Elite 4, and the Elite 4 are usually more powerful trainers. Sabrina in Kanto, because he had to go back and get a Ghost Pokemon, showing that Psychic is weak to Ghost types. I guess Johot it has to be Clair, but I don't think he lost in that, but there was a whole sage on it. And in Hoenn, probably Juan, another Saga battle. but you could say Brawley, cuz he lost in that one and had to come back. Right now, Roark, since he lost in the first gym already

I say the most powerful gym leaders are probably Clair and Whitney, I say Whitney because it ties in the game, because so many people in the past have lost to her in G/S/C due to her Miltank's rollout attack and i like how it just ties in with the game.

Gible´s biggest fan!
Whitney, Sabrina and Clair. Those are the best leaders so far, I don´t see any Hoen leader on a top 3 list. Sabrina whoever are a bit tricky. She is very strong but Ash found a way to beat her as he was still a beginner. When he faced Whitney he had learned more but still lost.

And if BF counts, then clearly Brandon and Anabel are at the top. The two of them are the best leaders of any gym like thing in the whole series, and inferior only to some of the E4´s.
