Has anyone played The Movies? You run your own movie studio, and you make movies starting at the beginning of the movie industry, the 1920s. You work your way up the decades, and you develop new sets, customes, and technologies like CGI.

I got it the day before yesterday and I'm in the year 1924 or 1925, I forget. Anyways, you can hire actors, actresses, janitors, crew members, builders, and more. After you've made your own movie in the Advanced Move-Making system, you can put it on the Web using the game developer's service, or you can save it on to your computer in WMV format.

It's a pretty fun game, it just moves kinda slow even when it's in Fast Forward.

Well, I have been thinking about buying it, since I am a huge fan of the Sim games. I have noticed it has a little bit of simulation in there, but not Bladder, Hunger, Fun, Energy, or at least I think so .

Yeah, now they have Moods, like if their happy, mad, and Bored. They also have if they're good at their job. There are also awards, ratings, and reviews for your studio and movies.

1. Is it also for the PS2?
2. What rating out of 10.0 (Nothing like 2,000,000/10.0) do you give it?

I might think about getting or renting it.

The PS2 version will come out in 2006, not sure when exactly though. And I'd probably give a 8.5 out of ten, it has some nice stuff, I just don't like that I have to wait justto write my own scripts, in the beginning, they appear near the gates of your studio, then you hire people to write a subject you pick, then you unlock a building or something that will allow you to write your own scripts.

By the way, The Movies will also come out for the xBox(just xBox not 360), and GameCube. For the PC version, you can download patches, not sure about the console versions.

i got the movies for Christmas, and must say i was quite dissapointed, they don't have any word speech, if you try to make your ow movie it takes hours to make a good one, and all the people lok the same, they're like OOMPA LOOMPAS!
