The New Official "Claim Your Favorite Video Game Song" Thread
Rules:-All SPPF Rules apply here as well.
-You may only claim one video game song. As Thread Manager, I shall claim two.
-If the song you want to claim is already claimed and on the list, do not claim it, first come first serve applies here.
-Claim songs under their English names if applicable. If a song was claimed in English, you may not claim it under a different language.
-You must be active at least once a month to keep your claim, otherwise someone may take it.
-If you wish to claim a song from an inactive user, please state that and preferably have a link to said user's profile.
-If a user is banned, any other user can claim said user's song. If you are banned and no one has claimed your song by the time you are back, claim your song again or someone else will be allowed to claim that song.
-You must keep your claim for one month before changing it. You can only post here again if you have had a name change or wish to rename your song (will be explained later).
-Always use the forms provided, no exceptions. Failure to do so will result in a strike. (Strike's and strike system will be located at the end of the post)
-Use proper spelling, grammar capitalization, punctuation, etc. in you claim forms.
-Do not spam or harass members here.
-The list should be updated at least every week, feel free to VM/PM me if it hasn't or if your claim wasn't added.
Other Rules to keep in mind:
-When claiming a song, refer to the earliest video game it comes from. For example, if you wish to claim the Sinnoh Champion theme, refer to Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, not Pokemon Platinum.
-If you wish to claim different version of a song that another user already has, you may, as long as these songs have considerable differences. For example, UserA may claim Ripple Star from Kirby 64 while UserB may claim Ripple Red from Kirby Triple Deluxe. Although they are the same song, they contain significant differences from each other.
-When claiming a song, use the actual name of the song, if applicable. If a user claims a song as "Boss Battle Theme," they may come back and rename their song at any time. For example, a user can claim "Sectonia Phase 2 Theme" from Kirby Triple Deluxe and later rename it as its real name, "Moonstruck Blossom." The proper form for this will be provided below.
-When claiming a song from DLC, do not refer to the DLC, refer to the actual game instead.
Several games such as Super Smash Brothers Brawl offer an extensive soundtrack consisting of remakes and special medleys, which are most likely to be significantly different. If you prefer a Super Smash Brothers version of a song, refer to that in your claim. Keep in mind that you can NOT claim the regular version of said song if you claim a different version. For example, I can claim the Hyrule Field Theme from Twilight Princess while someone else can claim the Hyrule Field Theme from Super Smash Brothers, but I, or any user, can't claim both.
-Do not claim songs from video games that weren't composed especially for said video game. You can not claim Carry On by Avenged Sevenfold because it was featured in Call of Duty, but you can claim Beauty of Annihilation because it was made specifically for the Zombies game mode.
