Satoshi and Pikachu's journey is coming to an end... and for real this time. Cant say i dont understand this new direction, but im really sad when knowing that i wont see Satoshi again (the chance for him to cameo is very slow imo), so this may be the last time i appear on this forum, because even though i love pokemon, Satoshi and Pikachu have a very impotant place in my childhood and my heart, so watching an anipoke without them is kinda wrong to me.
So you guys just keep on yours celebration because Satoshi is gone for good, im just gona leave in silent.
Goodbye, may we met again someday.
Only logical pairing is Pearlshipping in that case.I hope the new girl is Ash's daughter. If so, it would be very exciting.
I don't like the idea of them switching protagonist every series and hopefully that's not the case. It'll get too confusing hectic.
The anime has been soulless since BW, this change is potentially a good thing lolReboot is always bad
Look at Yu Gi Oh and Digimon. It was NEVER the same.
Feels soulless to have a new protagonist every 3 years or so
It was fun watching Ash and knowing its the same character we have known for years

This isn't a reboot, this is potentially a sequel series. Also, unlike those series, Pokémon has a very strong base for stories in the form of the games; even if they replace Ash, they have a ton they can do here.Reboot is always bad

Totally agree. I have expressed similar opinion some time ago. I hope that the new anime will still be connected to Ash in some way.Reboot is always bad

Don't you remember what Masamitsu Hidaka once said? When Ash and Pikachu become Pokémon Master, it would be the last episode of the show.So they’re throwing him away without letting him achieve his dream? I’m sorry this just feels so….abrupt. It’s like if One Piece ended without luffy finding the one piece…
There's a 11 episode finale of Ash's journey. This new series only starts after the conclusion of that.So they’re throwing him away without letting him achieve his dream? I’m sorry this just feels so….abrupt. It’s like if One Piece ended without luffy finding the one piece…
