The 'New' Shinies.

Right, first things first, if there is a topic allready on this, please can the Mods close this.

But back on topic, I was thinking about the shiny 'Mons, and was wondering if they could make them any more interesting?
I had a few Ideas, but my favourite is to have the shiny 'Mons, not just a different colour, but too look different in other ways.
Almost like the gender difference, but a bit different.
So butterfree could have different patterns on her wings, and Rapidash could have a much larger flame.
These wouuld have to be worked around the gender differences, so they are really different, instead of just slightley noticable.
Also, They could stand in different positions, making them stand out even more.

Just imagine a vilplume with a different flower?
Or a pikachu with a giant tail?

[Edit] But Shinin, that could be said about the old shiny 'Mons, they are pokemon that have grown in a different way to other 'Mons of there species.

I like the idea. Obviously not TOO mutated, but aye a bigger difference than just the gender differences. I like it Maybe things like Onix/Steelix can have more chunks of rock/steel in its bodies?

Lol, what if they had loads of 'shiny' variations. There would be 4 total, each having a 1/8000 ish chance of occurance.
-Standard Shiny
-Mutant
-Inverted colors
-Metallic

And a shiny Caterpie battle would go like this.
Caterpie Apeired *Caterpies tail is bigger then half the screan*
Pokemon Trainer Bob got t3h heart attack
Pokemon triner Bob winted out
You lost 2324 pokedollars to Caterpiezilla

But I think the shiny pokemon will just be recoloured and not having bigger tails ect.

That would be a tad too much work for pokemon only a few will be lucky enough to get anyways. (without a cheating device.) Basically, they are so rare that putting THAT much effort will truly be a waste since the 'shinies' will hardly ever be seen. It's a good idea in writing, but it has that one flaw that doesn't make it worth implementing.

How about this. They should increase the chance of getting a shiny. Like, reduce 8192 by half to four thousand something. They are entirely too rare. Make is 1/2000 if they want, I'd aprreciate that. They would still be rare, and it would give people a higher chance of getting their first shiny pokemon, because some people still don't even have one.

They wont do it that much.Maybe A little but not the dramaticly.

no, because shinies are just normal Pokémon, aalthough different in color. they aren't mutated Pokémon, and because of that reason I think they should look the same as the normal Pokémon (except for the color of course)

but, iirc, in G/S/C, the shinies had better stats then normal Pokémon, and I wouldn;t say no if they would bring that back.

talking about shinies: finaly caught my first one in ruby Shiny Bagon

maybe they should make shinies not only different colors but like a different type... it would be weird... but it would still learn its normal attacks... along with different ones that it wouldnt normally learn

I really hope they increase our chances. Or, it would be nice to have a pokemon whose ability is to give you a 1% chance of getting a shiny, or 1/2%. What is that chance? It must still be low. If not, then I would really like 8192 to be reduced to 4096. That would make my day.

An ability for doing that would make no sense.

Yes it does, like the ablities have extra effects on emerald, and this ability would too, and if we can't have that, I just want the 8192 chance cut in half to 4096.

Ummm...no. They can't do that. Shinies just have different skins, so they can not have extra things like that, unless you literally what sprites taking up 90% of DP, be my guest. Spinda would be a killer, taking up 80% of that 90%. Unown will be also a killer, but still Spinda 200+ more sprites then Unown. Just no, Sprites take up a lot of memory as is.
