The NEW Shipping Oscars 2006/2007

NB: These Oscars contain ALL of the previously nominated members/fics from the old thread but now it is going to be open for another two weeks to accept any more nominations for the below categories and then voting will begin. The old thread is located here but rest assured that I have moved everyone's nominations to this thread. Please read carefully.

Yep, you guessed it – the Shipping Forum is having its own Oscars Awards! ^_^ Now these awards are open to ALL shipping fics – not just Pokemon Shipping fics, though some categories will be specifically dedicated to either a non Pokemon fiction or other anime/character fiction to help even out the nominations. This should hopefully give everyone a chance for a nomination and a vote later on in the voting. ^_^

I’m aware that the shipping forums also consist of guy x guy, girl x girl relationships, so they will also have their own separate categories. Categories will also be open to fics above R.

First off, the rules UPDATE: THE RULES HAVE NOW BEEN ADJUSTED FOR THE FINAL VOTING ROUND:

1) All forum rules apply as usual.

2) NO FLAMMING or SPAMMING in this thread!

I've got a suggestion to make... although it may take some time to do, it may be a good idea to provide links to the stories nominated, as I'm sure some of these are going to be buggers to fish out.

Regarding nominations, I've not been around long enough to gauge a good enough judgement of the shipping fics area to be able to pull somebody or something out to nominate... but I sure as hell will vote when the time comes around.

For instance, I've just tried searching for "Don't Forget About Us" by Mayuko.
A, The search engine does not handle four keywords (why search on keywords anyway; I set it to search for a topic title, but still)
B, Apparently, the user doesn't even exist.
So how can I read a nominated story when the search engine provides no means of actually finding it. I really do not have the time to manually search through every single topic, just to find this story.
