A New Threat: A Starfox RPG​

March 24th, 2206 Corneria Times

The president after months of being trapped inside his home was finally able to escape to meet the new Starfox before they left Corneria to go on a search to stop the aliens. He made it to their trainings facility in order to meet the new team. Nightmare O'Donnel, Alexhaur Metalwing, Talea Armarda, Zero Accel, Hunter McCloud, Bulk Maximus, and Dile Powalsky are the new members of Starfox. The president then gave a speech to the people of Corneria.

My fellow Cornerians, even though many of you are not here today and are running low on supplies, we must not fear, the new Starfox team is here. They will leave immediately in the new Great Fox which has been upgraded from it’s previous state. I have appointed Nightmare as leader as he seemed most suitable. Filled with up to date weapons, technology, and vehicles. All the essentials needed to save the entire universe. Hopefully they will all find the cause of the aliens before it’s to late because the people of the universe are in their hands. God speed Starfox Team.​

After that the new team boarded the Great Fox and within a few minutes were blasting off into space. We on Corneria must have hope or surely they may fail. All we can do is try to hold off the aliens and hopefully find another planet that may be able to supply our planet. Or we need to ditch this planet as it is to over run with aliens.

“Line up maggots.” Nightmare yelled. “Nah, just kidding everyone. I am your team leader, Nightmare. But don’t worry I’m just a fun-loving person. Hopefully we can all get along. With that said everyone is free to explore the ship.”

Nightmare left the sides of his fellow teammates and went to find his room. He went to lay down on the bed. When he stared up at the ceiling he found himself thinking of his father. I’m sorry dad, I know you wanted me to be a little evil, but it’s to hard at the moment. I need to save the universe. And besides that if the aliens control the universe what will I be able to rule over. I just wish you could be here.

Tears flooded his eyes and he tried to forget about his dad. I need to find someone to talk to. This alone time is really screwing with my feelings. He got off his bed and went to see his Arwing. He hated the color, the gray with the blue colored wings. I need to upgrade the color. He ran into his room and found the bag he had brought onto the Great Fox. He took out four cans. Two held the color black and the other held the color red. “I’m going to have so much fun.” With that said he smiled and went to work.

After about twenty minutes he was done. It looked very much like the Wolfen Except it was a little darker. At least I can honor my dad by dedicating this ship to him. Using white paint he printed on the both sides of his ship he wrote 'The Wolf O'Donnol.'

Hunter looked around. "It's exactly how dad said it is"Hunter thought. "I would be leader if it wasnt for that idiot wolf"Hunter thought. "After all my dad is the great Fox McCloud, so I should be leader"Hunter continued in his thoughts. He took out his father's blaster. "Ah this brings back memories of the stories my dad told me"Hunter said softly. He went to his special Arwing. The Arwing was originally his father's Arwing but Hunter gave it special upgrades.

Instead of four wings it had six wings. The engines were much stronger and durable. The Star Fox logo was painted on each side. The grey color was replaced with red while the blue was replaced with brown. "If dad was here he would like the Arwing but he wouldn't like the fact that I wasn't chosen to be leader"Hunter said softly. He entered the cockpit and launched the Arwing out of the hanger. He let go of the controls and left the Arwing on auto-pilot.

 

[Lemurian]

Alex walked peacefully down the main dock, looking at the different Arwings. One of them was his own, a dark one with one red stripe on each side. It was quite simple. 4 wings in an X near the end and two boosters in the end, ready to fire. Under each of the wings lay a battery of Kelthed-missiles, three missile in each. Two machine-guns were hidden beneath. The cockpit was tinted. The whole machine oozed of sudden death. Alex snickered and jumped in. "Metalwing to main control, I'll take a brief survey of the area around us, over." he spoke into the main radio while heating the engines.

 

[Bulk]

After the dismissal, Bulk looked around his quarters. He unpacked everything he'd broad on board and lined up several guns on his bead. He checked each to see if they were loaded and equipped himself with a blaster. He locked his door and headed down to the hanger, taking with him three cans of spray pain. Green, Dark Green and Black. He found his Arwing and sprayed it in an army camouflage style. He also modified it giving it more firepower and slightly more powerful shields. Although this slightly decreased the speed of his craft, he felt it was for the best. He stood back and admired his handiwork. Even if he wasn't the best at flying, at least he'd look good.

Throwing the cans in the bin, he walked up the steps and into the Great Fox Bar. R.O.B. was serving drinks and Bulk ordered his favourite beverage, Lombardi Larger and knocked it back in one go.

"Wait," he said, his voice grovelling. "weren’t you the pilot of the old Star Fox team?"

"Well," beeped R.O.B. "you know there are more than one of us"

"Ah," said Bulk, wiping his mouth. He walked out of the bar, put on his glasses and lit a cigar. He carried on around the ship and eventually ended up on the bridge. It was there Bulk saw it. Space. He'd always lived on Cornerea and had only flown on the simulators. He'd never seen real space before. Travelling through space was amazing. The stars and planets rushing past them. Bulk lent over the railings and blew smoke rings into the air.

Hunter searched for the Arwing simulation controls and started it. The Great Fox launched several squadrons of drone ships. Hunter steered his Arwin towards the drones and began shooting. The drone fighters began to shoot back. Hunter avoided most of the shots except for a few which hit the Arwing. Hunter saw that the drones disappeared and joined together to become a replica of Andross. Hunter growled at the sight. "I hate Andross!"Hunter said in disgust.

He fired at the Andross replica only to find the replica activated it's shields to guard itself from the shots. The replica fired ion beams at Hunter. Hunter reflected the ion beams with a fox-shaped plasma shield. Hunter fired at the robot and destroyed it. Then it wasn't Hunter who destroyed the robot but someone else. "Must be one of the others"Hunter mumbled. He landed in the hanger and saw the other Arwing do the same. Hunter went up to the pilot and greeted him. "My name is Hunter McCloud"Hunter said holding out his hand.

After Nightmare left, Dile decided to go to his room. There, he saw his luggage and said, "I hate unpacking." Dile began to open the luggage and putting it where it belongs in the room. After he finishes, he sits on his bed and looks out the window, seeing the stars. His stomach growls and he mumbles, "I thought I ate a while ago. Oh well." He prowls the ship, trying to find something to eat. He walked into the hanger on accident and sees the ships. He walks to his own green one and sees a spot of dirt on it. He wipes it of with his finger and walks off. When he reaches the meal area, he finds something to eat, sits down, and begins stuffing his face.

Talea sighed, staring into space from inside her room, the unpacked things in their places and put away neatly, she sighed again, and picked up a photo of a family of cats, like her.

"But mom, I don't want to join that force, something could go wrong!" A young cat, around sixteen protested to her mother.

"Now, now dear, you won't be alone, your brother and your cousins will be with you too!" Her mother put on a fake smile that the younger Talea could easlily see.
A black spacecraft hovered over the two cats, and sighing, Talea knew there was no escape out of it, she got her things, and got onto the spacecraft, not knowing what was coming.

"No, ther'ye getting away!" A sinister voice called to Talea and her brother, they turned a corner when a sudden jolt, and a bullet sound caught them off guard,

"Talea... run... escape... go... before they--" His voice was cut off, dead, blood seeped silently from where the bullet hit him, and on his word, Talea ran, locating an airwing not too far from where they were, she quickly clambered onto the areodynamic craft and shot off at a tremendous speed.

She got up and walked slowly towards the hanger, with a few cans of indigo spray paint and some red printing paint.
She took the spray paint, and made the airwing of her's look very different, it was now indigo, and using the red printing, she put on both sides 'The Avenger', once she'd done that, Talea decided to try and find someone to talk to, so she went to the food court to find someone.
Soon enough, she found an alligator stuffing his face, so she tried to engage conversation with him.

"Hi..." She began, waiting for an answer.

After Nightmare had finished repainting he looked at the artwork for several minutes before he stood up and left the hangar. He mainly wandered around going from room to room. He stepped into his room and unpacked everything else he had. He sat on his bed before getting up. He needed to get to the command bridge to see where we were headed.

Finally he reached the command bridge. He walked in and was suprised to see Bulk in there. "Why, hello Bulk. Nice to see you." Nightmare said.

Nightmare went to the flight panel to see where they were headed. There was no destination set. All this shp was doing was aimlessly wandering through space. If we are ever going to stop the alien threat we need a certain destination. I need to call everyone on the team here so we could discuss this.

He went over to the intercom and said "All Starfox team members report to the command bridge. That is all." But before everyone even got here, besides Bulk, Nightmare needed to think, where could this threat be coming from? There were many planets he could name off the top of his head. Corneria, Sauria. Fachina, Venom, Aquas, and Katina were just a few. But which one could hold an entirely new alien race?

 

[Lemurian]

Alexhaur readied the engines for take-off just when...his intercom beeped. "All Starfox team members report to the command bridge." the mecanic voice of their crew leader reported. Alexhaur swore lightly while switching off the engines and stepping out. Other members were beginning to follow the order and Alex passed them.

'Where is this bridge place?' Alexhaur thought for himself as he entered another endless corridor. "Not another!" Alexhaur said out loud. Suddenly, he noticed a sign saying; ---> Command Bridge. Alexhaur sweatdropped and started walking that way. "Why make it difficult?" Finally, he reached a pair of great doors which entered with his arrival. "Alexhaur Metalwing, reporting, sir."

 

[Bulk]

"Morning, Captain," answered Bulk to Nightmare, blowing a smoke ring into the air. He continued to watch Nightmare as he fiddled aroudn with the controls.

"All Starfox team members report to the command bridge," bepped loudly in his earing. So loud, Bulk had to remove his intercom from so close to his ear and yelled, "Arrgg!" throwing the intercom at the ground. Seeing it smash, he picked up the pieces and stuffeced them in his pocket. He dropped his cigar and stapped out the butt. Walking down to the metal strairs to meet the captain.

"So, I guess this is about orders and destination, yeah?" said Bulk, waiting for the others to arrive.

Hunter looked at Alex leave. He heard Nightmare's voice on the intercom. He just ignored it. He looked out into space. "Oh man times like this make me wish dad was alive"Hunter said sadly. He went to his room and picked up a picture of his mother and father. The picture showed Fox and Krystal holding Hunter. Tears dropped from Hunter's eyes. He wiped the tears from his eyes. Hunter went out of his room and went to the command bridge.

Nightmare was waiting there. Hunter went foward. "We should check my mother's homeland, Ringas"Hunter said.

Dile swallows what is in his mouth and says, "Hello. I'm Dile. What's your name?"

Nightmare's voice rings out over the intercom and Dile says, "Sorry, but you can introduce yourself later, we have to go to the Command Bridge, wherever that is." Dile stands up and disposes of his garbage, the walks to the front door and then trys to find the Command Bridge.

"Well now that almost everyone is here the floor is open to where we should head." Nightmare looked at them all.

"We should check my mother's homeland, Ringas." said Hunter.

"If that's ok with everyone else we can head there." said Nightmare. This really was driving him nuts how many planets might they check before they actually find the source of this evil power. Or even how many people will die before we stop this menace. He really hated the fact it was all riding on the Starfox Team's sholders.

"Well then that will be our first stop then. If we do not find the source we will continue on."

Nightmare turned around and headed towards the computer. He input the destination and then the ship started to turn and then pick up a little speed. Then the computer stated the were heading right to Ringas.

"Until we reach the planet everyone is free to go back to what they were doing." Nightmare said.

 

[Lemurian]

'Waste of time,' Alexhaur thought as he again stepped into the Steelwing, his Arwing. "Boost...on. Jets...initiate!" The Arwing started rumbling and Alexhaur turned it to face the air-room. He floated the Arwing into it and the doors on each sides closed shut. Alexhaur set the air-system on as the whole room was emptied of air. The outer door opened. "Metalwing to control bridge, I'll make sure the coast is clear around us, over." he reported over the radio as he sped out the door.

Talea
Command Bridge

Talea, unsatified with the fact of waiting, decided to get to her room, she decided she would get some sleep, she went in a small, cat - like trot to her room, and laid down on her bed.

She was in a dark room, with little to no light, a voice sounded out,

"You have failed Talea, you've let your teamates down, it was all on your shoulders, you could have saved the whole universe, but no, you blithering coward, you've now been demoted from Team Starfox, and so now, my henchmen will deal with you..." As soon as the voice faded, another voice came on, this one even colder,

"How could you have let me down Talea... how could you?, you let us down like as if you've turned off zero - gravity, you let everyone die, even me, your own mother!
You don't deserve to live,Talea Armarda, you will pay for your crimes!" The voice faded and a sudden stinging in Talea's heart provoked, it was then she knew: She'd been shot!
Slowly, everything faded, she was dying, until everything went black...

She woke up, shivering and shaking, she couldin't get control over her body, a sudden click indicated someone had come in, too see what the noise was about.

 

[Bulk]

OOC: Just o check, Ringas is completly made up, right? As Hunter's mother's (Krystal's) homeworld was Cerina with all life being whiped out. If it's made up, that's fine but then how is it Krysatl's homeland? (I realise I may be going into his too much but I do care for accuracy)

BIC: "Ringas, ay," said Bulk. "Neverheard of it but if the blob things are there, I'm happy to go."

Leaving the group, Bulk headed back to his room where he equipted himself with guns and ammo. He lit another cigar and looked out of his window and into space. He could see Ringas approaching and so left his room for the hanger.

Along with Alexhaur, Bulk jumped abord his Arwing and strted the engines. With his cigar in his mouth, Bulk spoke into the comunicator.

"This is Bulk Maximus reporting in. We have all engines stadning by and weapons, functional." Bulk turned the arwing so it was pointing outwards. "We'll report back when the cost is clear," he said, blasting off into space...

 

[Lemurian]

'Hmm, Ringas...' Alexhaur thought while running a check on all systems in the cockpit. 'Where did I hear 'bout it?' Suddenly, he remembered.

"Ringas, yeah." the drunk man said, ferret tail swining violently at his side. Alexhaur gritted his teeth and clenched the fist around his sword. Just some more minutes, and the man would die... "It's a nice place." the fool blabbered on. "Like, they've got trees and all that stuff." He hiccuped. "Not exactly Corneria." And so, he started singing, fals, a strange song about Corneria. "Oh Corneria, temple of tech...tecks...stuff!" Alexhaur drove the sword through his gut as the last visitor to the bar had gone.

"Hmm, yeah, that wasn't much." Alexhaur thought out loud and made sure the speed was the right. "Now, let's see this planet in real life..."

Hunter only knew about Ringas from what his mother told him. "Oh man I hate my life"Hunter said as he remembered that his parents are dead. Again tears fell from his eyes. He loved his mother and father. They were idols to him. Hunter went to his Arwing and left for Ringas. He set the engines to land on Ringas. There he landed.

As Hunter stepped out of his Arwing, he took looked at everything. "It's excatly how Mom told its like"Hunter said with amazement as he saw cities with beautiful trees. A red fox came up to Hunter. "Who are you?"The fox asked. "I'm Hunter son of Fox and Krystal McCloud"Hunter said. "NO WAY!"The fox said. "That means I'm your cousin!"The red fox said. "Anyways I'm Cruiser"Cruiser said.

 

[Lemurian]

Alexhaur noticed Hunter landing. He sighed and followed. He landed the Steelwing next to Hunter's and jumped out, armed with a normal blaster and a pair of swords attached to the side. Years in the mercenary buisness had learned him safety. He noticed Hunter talking to another fox and walked over to them.

"Hunter, is it safe here?" Alexhaur asked. "Shall I give message that they should land?"

 

[Bulk]

Landing with the others, Bulk climbed out of his Arwing and held his blaster close to him. He had no idea what to expect on this planet and had to be prepared for anything. He lit another cigar and blew smoke into the air. He noticed Hunter and Alexhaur talking with another fox and considered going over to them.

However, he had to fix his intercom. It was no good in pieces. He took the parts out and laid them on the bonnet of his Arwing. Taking out a screwdriver, his began to put the pieces back together.

IT didn't take him long to make the intercom fully functional again and remembered this time to turn the volume down. He placed it in his ear and picked up his gun again. Bulk started to head over to the others when he heard a rustle in the bushes.

Bulk lifted his gun and pointed it at the bush. He peered over the top of his glasses and called out, "Who's there?"
