Well, I miss this game and so here I am taking a shot at it.

Anyways, Nicknaming Contest was, as far as I know, owned by Dramatic Melody. The original one, I believe was. The one I grew up on. About a year ago, Ditto123 revived it to renewed success, but then abandoned it. And now, 2012, here I am trying to bring back the old audience and reintroduce to a new audience.
So here's how it goes:
First, I give out a set of three random Pokemon (sometimes, though, the three Pokemon have a theme. And in the latter parts, the nicknamers got the chance of suggesting Pokemon for me) and open nicknaming.
People give out at most five nicknames for each Pokemon. They try to give the most awesome nicknames, or most of the times the craziest.
I close the Nicknaming after a 72 hours, then the nicknamers give suggestions for a new set.
I then announce the winners based on four categories: Most WTF, Most Creative, Most Random and Best Nickname.
I give out another set, and the cycle starts all over again.
Every pokemon will be allowed to be nicknamed. Even the past nicknamed and alternate forms.
I will have a "Stop Nicknaming" type of banner.
I will have a first place trophy. Only use one in your sig if you won and use the appropriate one.
As always, rules are in order.
> All SppF rules and General Games rules apply.
> Only at most five nickname entries per Pokemon, which means at most fifteen entries per set.
> Only one post per set, and only post entries if the set is open. If you want to post more entries, you can edit your first post, as long as the set is still open.
> If the set is closed, you can only post your "Good Lucks", your predictions on who will win, and suggestions for the Pokemon you want to see in the next set (which will usually be considered).
> If multiple people give the same nickname to the same Pokemon, and the nickname wins, the first person to say the nickname will get the award.
> You can use as many characters as you can for the name.
> If you are caught with a banner or trophy, you will be warned. If you use the wrong trophy, you will be warned. If you use a trophy without winning, you will be given a strike.
> 3 Warnings=1 strike. 3 Strikes=1 Temp Ban. 3 Temp Bans=1 Permaban
