I've heard that the lower your ID nr is, the higher your chance is to encounter a shiny, is this true?

I've found several shinies through hours of searching, mainly during EV training. For me, whenver I spend 3-5 hours in an area, I encounter a shiny Pokémon.

I have quick question..I asked it another thread but it got locked.

When trying to hatch a shiny. Do I save before I talk to the man..get the egg and then hatch and reset until i get a shiny one...?

or do I keep receiving eggs...without reseting until I find a shiny?

no they dont every pokemon has a diferent amount of time to hatch
so if you had a shiny ponita egg and a normal ponita egg it would take the same time also the chances of have a shiny egg are like around 8000 to 1
