I always enjoy Sugimori artwork very much. The pokemon are best when they are drawn by Ken Sugimori, I think. This is to post special things Sugimori made, it don't have to be pokemon. With special, I mean work that not had been made public, such as lost promote art, or wallpapers.

I have a few examples here.
Shiny Charizard wallpaper, which includes Gold/Kenta/Jimmy.

Actually the G/S one was for the Neo Expedition TCG expansion.

There's tons of Sugimori artwork (and other great pokemon artwork) like this that we never see, it's such a shame.

The Charizard picture is from the 10th Anniversary Pokedex. Also, there are Sugimori pictures of Snorlax, Charizard, Mewtwo, and Venusaur in the first few pages of the book. It says they're "Exclusive Artwork by Ken Sugimori" and then lists the Japanese Soundtrack to Fire Red/Leaf Green. Although I haven't seen them before, they could've been released prior to the book. I might be able to get them scanned, but it could take a while and they won't be very high quality.

I'm glad I found this topic. Sugimori Art is my absolute favorite. ^_^

also, is all of these related to the Pokemon franchise?

and it's good that there are non-white characters. I don't get why there aren't any skin colours except white in the games.

There. Now I've recovered all my previous concept art. Doesn't mean I have it all though. Still workin' on that. XD

Oh, also, this place has most of the Gamefreak wallpapers that Pokemon-Safari used to have. They don't have the Lucario/Plusle/Minun one (The only one I was goin' for...), but it's still better than nothing.

Yeah. Almost all of the ones I've posted were from the newer movies. Mostly 8 and 9.

I've got some of his conceptual artwork for the game 'Screw-Breaker' (known as 'Drill Dozer' outside of Japan). He doesn't produce the finalised artwork for the characters that are seen on the box or anything, but he did all the character designs;

Jill + Drill Dozer

Jill + supporting characters
Detective Carrie + random police drones
Some prototype character that never made it into the game.

Also, if you visit NOA's Drill Dozer mini-site, there's a short 3 page comic strip drawn by Sugimori that introduces the main characters and sets up the game's plot.

People on Pokesho have also been posting a bunch of artwork from the manga 'Quinty'. I'm assuming these were produced before he went into the pokémon biz, considering the style is pretty old school.
In any case, I'll just link to the thread in which the art is being posted.
There's quite a bit of pokémon stuff there too.
