(Made my own thread but then I realized that maybe this belongs here)
I recently bought a Leaf Green cartridge from my friend. Little did I know that he had hacked his game to get a ton of unobtainable pokemon. He has things such as deoxys, mew, celebi, etc. at level 100 plus things like charizard and mewtwo hacked to be level 100. He also has a bad egg. What exactly does the bad egg mean, and is it safe to trade any pokemon at all, hacked or not from the hacked game to my unhacked sapphire? Or is everything contaminated and I should just restart the game? I thought I would ask you pokemon experts because I really have no idea here. Thanks!

anyone who is wondering about the 'fax machine' noise is is what happens when a GBA game is removed from the slot. This should solve that problem
