Hey, I'll join this club. I've been a NASCAR fan since the early 90's when I was around 7 or 8 years old. Just the concept of colored cars racing around was interesting to me.. and my favorite driver is Dale Jarrett.

Shocking i think i was the first american too notice it cause everybody was on Mikey about to winn the Daytona 500 I noticed the crash from the top of my screen

What was your reaction to Dale Earnhardt.
I hadn't seen a race yet before that race. I had gotten some of those winner circles die-cast cars, and decided that I would root for Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt, that's how I knew about NASCAR. And the very first race I saw was the 2001 Daytona 500...you could imagine my response ;_;. It was so shocking, since the crash didn't look like it could have even hurt him. In fact, I heard that he survived much worse.

I was actually at that race and it didn't look that bad but when he didn't come out my dad thought he brock his leg(i don't really remember that much sence i am only 11)

I was totally tripped. I cried for days because my favorite driver died. My dad new it was coming because he had the worst feeling all through the Speedweeks. He cried for days, too.

*phew* Good thing it's not on Saturday, I've goit a spelling bee. I can't wait for Mexico again, I only saw the end of it and it was a pretty good race.

Jorge Gotors was the meican guy & later in that race he blew the engine, Adrian Fenedenz Had a chance if is wasn't for problems
